LOL. The package is stunning and the extras are amazing. Mara truly outdid herself this month. I'll be excited to hear LV when she sees the bag!! And you are absolutely right. Shipping has been so FAST. I thought it would take longer - for obvious reasons, but I think I've actually gotten my packages faster. Maybe the slowness is a California thing!!

I just got my package and next to my PEs, this is the one I most wanted. Granted, it needs to sit and let go of any travel shock but I can say right now that the combo is absolutely gorgeous. Everything is blended so well, I don't get yet any overpowering notes. This does for vanilla, alcohol and wood smoke (amongst others) what Katerina Suit did for leather, tobacco and chocolate. It's slow crawling sexy. I can almost imagine closing my eyes and feeling like I'm walking down Bourbon Street again. Can't wait to try this after it settles a bit. Everything so far is utterly gorgeous beyond reason!!!

Oh my good heavens, I got my package today!! It's the most extraordinary - the extra goodies are so perfect for the month and the bags are to die for!!! LV just might when she sees it!!!! I'm sitting in total mind fuddle - what to wear first, what to do!!! Mara, it is the absolute best package I've gotten. Of course I ripped open my Make a Wish and I can already tell that it's absolutely gorgeous - that's on one arm and I'm trying out my bottle of my mom's birthday cake and it smells so wonderful on the other. I'm going to give both a couple of days settling before I give a complete review but O.M.G. I am ready to swoon and I haven't even opened up the samples or Nola yet.

It's so funny that the last post was over a year ago by NuTrix and I actually wore the same combo today! Pherogirl was a bit much for me because of the cops so I decided to try this and see how I'd like the scent minus that. Decided to roll this on and layer with my husband's one tried and true phero, Cuddle Bunny. I really like the smell of this. I could have worn less, it wears fairly strong on me so I won't need much in the future. My daughter gave me a hug and sniffed me. All of a sudden, she blurts out "You smell like baby powder! I like it!" Then I couldn't get her to stop sniffing me. LOL She's right, it does on me. I'm really glad that I got a bottle. Some scents w/ cops I can't smell it at all or it dies down very quickly but Pherogirl just always wanted to linger and be - not quite right. This though smells so good, baby powder and all. I have another honey I can wear to work!!

NuTrix, you're absolutely right. That's exactly how I describe it: sheer. It's definitely a work friendly day scent, very bright. It's probably the one honey I can wear to work and not feel self-conscious since most tend to come across as rather sexual. AJA was the perfect fit for this one!

I got one too. If it's the sampler/bottles, I will soon be covered in Nola!!!! Everything really sounded too good this month but Nola was a must have for me.

Mine have been consistently SS4W, Cougar - scented and the LAMs. I like them because of the happy social vibe that they always seem to bring out in others. Cuddle Bunny would be a runner-up just because its the one and only that my husband really seems to respond to well (or at all)! If I could only have one though, I'm thinking SS4W.

Mara, if it's still available, I'd like to take the last bottle of Make a Wish. Hopefully I didn't remember too late!!

I was actually pretty tame. I did however splurge and get back up bottles of Nola. I had the same "that's the ONE" feeling like I did with Absinthe so I got back up bottles. Hopefully, my scentuition is still working this month because I really really love the sound of that one!!!

I had to go look at the cracked eggs picture. I love that one!! My favorite is the second pic with her looking down. I'm not going to get you or me in trouble for posting them, am I? LOL Gotcha on the reserves. I'll put in mine for the last tomorrow morning.

My picture is not as great as the one you put on my bottle but this one has always been my favorite. There's just something about her look: innocent, curious, holding a secret... not sure exactly but one day, I would love to have this picture. Mara, let me know how many bottles are left of my banana orchid (I can only imagine how awesome you made this!!!). I'll take any left of that one if there are some left tomorrow. I'd get more of my mom's too but I just ordered the NRs and Hearts' PE. I might be back later for those if any are left.

One thing that I've learned from everyone here is all of the different layering combos you can create. The threads have been more specific to layers different LP scents but it really does apply to lotion as well. Some that I thought wouldn't go well together have actually created something that was better (to me) than each separately. If nothing else, a big bottle of unscented lotion helps a lot and you don't have to worry about it!! If I wasn't such a scent junkie, I'd just stick with that. I have very few vices any longer but smelling good is one that continues unabated.

Amalthea, I don't want to highjack the LP review threads with other brands (and if I have in the past, I AM TRULY SORRY). Generally speaking, the ones I've used I have bought specifically for certain LP perfumes initially but then later found out that they went so awesomely with many other scents here. I like having something that can help build the fragrance and make it last longer. I found a lotion that I am utterly in love with that kind of serves as Beth's Blushing Milkmaid of the lotion world for me. That is in my thread link below. Plus, you can always create your own lotions of scents. I tried that with LP Black and I LOVE it. Anyway, regarding Flying Potion, I updated my journal post about LP perfume/lotion pairings and added the specific one I've come to love with Flying Potion. Take a look and it will give you an idea of what I've been doing or finding out. Hope it helps. I know it's coming soon. I can't wait to see the notes in everything! I know the orchid and cupcake will probably be a given but I can't wait to see what the others are like. I'm thinking Hummingbird Nectar too. My new year resolution for samples only has been trashed.

LOL. I get the same way NuTrix. My husband can never put his finger on exactly what it is but whatever it is, he thinks I need more of. Well there you go, you can't feel guilty for your LP collection. You're doing it for your marriage!!

The other day at work, a co-worker brought in some homemade Valentine's Day chocolate bark made with white chocolate and cherry flavored candy chips. As soon as I took a bite, it tasted exactly how Cherry Divinity smells!! I brought in my bottle the next day for her to sniff and she laughed because they did smell exactly alike. The more I wear this one, the more I'm really glad I got a bottle. There's a short period of time where I'll sniff my arm and I get play-doh smell (I figured out that's what it reminds me of) after it's dried down but not finished melding. After that though, it's such a wonderful warm white chocolate with a hint of cherry.

This is probably one of my most favorite blends for self effects. I don't know if it affects my husband as much but usually I don't need this one to because it works on me every time! Plus the scent is just so wonderful.

Well, I truly THANK YOU!! I didn't have any ideas in my head for what I thought would be the picture but that one is so absolutely perfect!! I'd like to reserve a Buttercream Rose Cookie, if I can. My daughter loves everything in that! LV, that's the banana cake/orchid one. LOL

LOL. First of all they all look absolutely amazing!! So utterly excited to see them up!! I have two and one was created for my mom's birthday and one for mine. I told Mara she could change up anything she felt she should: Linda's Birthday Wishes: I asked for something to remind my mom of her favorite birthday cake, something that my grandma would always make her but after dealing with cancer for years now, something that hasn't been made in a long time - Spice cake with penuche frosting. - Notes were cake, brown sugar, spice and butter Make a Wish... and Blow: My favorite birthday cake (when I could get it) was a fluffy white cake with a banana custard filling and whipped cream like frosting. I asked her to take a childhood foodie fave and make it 9 1/2 Weeks foodie for my husband who loves banana. I added Cuddle Bunny to one of my bottles too. - Notes were cake, banana, custard filling, orchid I'd like to say that I was thinking of childhood wishes when I thought of the name but... no. Mara, I adore the labels. Marilyn is absolutely perfect!!!!! I absolutely can't wait!!!

I see this becoming a cake and orchid month for me!!

Amalthea, I was exactly the same way. I finally cleared out all of my B&B stuff about two months ago. Except for my Vanilla Noir which is the only one I adored there, everything else is gone. I think I've worn a non-LP perfume maybe five times since April of last year! LOL I do have some lotions from different places but they all layer amazingly with LPs I consider it extending the life of my collection.

I've got it both ways. If you get something phero-enhanced it's easier to judge how much you're wearing - that's just my thought though. I've tended to find that I get better results mixed in with scents as time goes on but it's definitely available either way. I know I can sometimes find myself wanting to just add one more unscented spray here... and here... just one more over there... and that can leave you not knowing when enough is enough!! LOL OW can be a really nice icebreaker without necessarily coming across sexy just yet... especially in a room full of hot sweaty people. I think everyone has given some really great ideas. Decisions, decisions! Looking forward to hearing what she ultimately ends up trying (and how it worked!!).

I'd had problems with being able to smell this one on me. Marshmallow seems to disappear very rapidly on me... like as soon as it hits the air. Someone *cough, Halo* mentioned a lotion she wears with it and I gave it try. SO.MUCH.BETTER. I can smell everything now and really love this. I wore it last Monday to meet up with a friend of mine for lunch and it was a perfect get-together type scent. Not sure if it was the phero or not but she kept laughing at me because our waiter was overly accommodating to me. I hadn't really noticed until the last time he was at our table and I caught him smiling and staring at me as he walked away. He almost bumped into the table next to us doing so. Even I had to notice that one!! I had on my pink fuzzy shirt that my husband always says makes me look like a pink marshmallow (he says it's a compliment. I'm still debating that one) and I could still smell it afterwards. It's so nice to just have a little extra layer to help keep all the notes there. I didn't realize what a difference it would make until I layered the lotion. Once again, I just find it fascinating how skin chemistry reacts to different notes. I would have loved to try Marsha Mellow but I was always afraid I'd have a scentless scent. I might go back and try a trial now that I have something that helps keep it from disappearing!!

Thanks DD! LOL I'm not sure if I like it or not but I guess in some circles I could be pretty popular! Sorry you don't like yours but it is kind of funny. I'm thinking of using that phrase in a silly way for my husband, like a cutesy cross-stitch or something.
