  1. This was my first LP purchase (boosted with cops - LONG before I understood what that truly meant) It handles cops very well, and it is an incredibly sexy, bold scent (IMO). I'm finally out of it... 8 months (but you have to understand I acquired TONS of LPs it had to share time with!) LP Red is everything I love about LP ORIGINAL, with an extra dose of sexy. Just as with LPO, I cannot imagine ever being without it. This is one of my husbands favs on me. I would love to try pairing this with Sexpionage... Hopefully it could handle it as well as the plain EoW. I'm just not brave enough yet to order combos on my own... Thank goodness Mara does the phero as/UN sampler in Nov so I can experiment! I would love this in a wax melt for the holidays... Or just a romantic evening at home.
  2. OK... I've been chomping at the bit to get back on the forum to review my pheromas set....I've taken copious notes on all, and it's interesting how there were a few that I vetoed out of the box but I've come full circle right back to loving them! First and foremost, I have to start with Mega Watt because it was the most unexpected gift. As many of my forum friends know, the last couple of months has truly been one of the most difficult, challenging times that I can remember in YEARS. There were many MANY days where I wanted to fall down in a pile and either bawl or pass out from exhaustion. The day my pheromas arrived I only had a couple of hours to myself to test and enjoy them before having to return to my zombie stress mode (where I've been stuck since early October). I didn’t try Mega Watt until the following day – and it was kind of a “what the hell – can’t hurt” moment that prompted me to spritz that little sample bottle on. I honestly didn’t really expect to notice anything obvious – knowing that finding the “sweet spot” (# of sprays) can be a lengthy process. I was actually amazed at how (considering what little energy I’ve had these days) I became focused and relaxed and was so much more capable of powering through a difficult day. Since then, I’ve had several ‘difficult’ days, and when I got close to the end of my proverbial rope, I would use my Mega Watt sample and my auto-pilot would kick in to help me push through and maintain a calm determination (as opposed to an all out meltdown by day’s end). For me anyway, it’s effects have been nothing short of a miracle. I'm of course OUT of my sample and it's very apparent to me now how using Mega Watt impacted me and the difference it made during times when I didn’t know how I could keep going. I feel it was actually a little lifesaver and the timing of it could not have been more perfect in my life. I am very grateful for cutie.pie requesting, Halo's inputting, and Mara developing - and letting us try – Mega Watt. And while things in my life are far from "back to normal", they are slowly improving... I can't wait to get my FB of Mega Watt to see it's EFX when I'm NOT under duress, and of course to have it handy in case the stress fairy decides to hang out at my house for another 2 months.
  3. Let us not overlook the subliminal intent of the ad... Redi-Whip is good on all KINDS of things, including pie. BTW does that pie dude have his wrists tied behind his back? She's quite the passive Dominatrix. She needs to only be wearing the apron though.
  4. Beautiful, cool labels! PM is Mega Watt strictly in trial mode or is it a Perfumerie 'done deal'?
  5. This is one of the Weenies I was looking forward to trying... love LOVE Oatmeal Butterscotch cookies! Wet, I get just that! It's awesome, that's when I 'get' the comparison to Scotchies. I'm so bummed though because 20 min my skin has managed to eat all semblance of 'cookies' and I'm left with CEDAR. My skin amps wood for whatever reason, and this is no acception. Lovely, foodie concept though... just like Warm & Toasty

    Pot of Gold

This was a total impulse buy for me on AF and OH MY did I luck out. This scent is just beautiful... creamy, dreamy, fluffy vanilla with just a hint of citrus - not a 'jabby' note at all - it just compliments the well-balanced vanilla notes. I don't get the "alcohol" note at all, and I have no clue what Copal smells like I wondered if the gold mica would be a bit much on my skin, but it's subtle; I almost feel like this is some kind of prosperity, money-drawing potion when I put it on (intent is half the power!) so we'll see what manifests, LOL. When I come upon a scent that just 'works' in all stages - in the bottle, wet, dry and hours later - it really makes my day. This is definitely trade-stalker worthy.
  7. Da-YUM Mara you like never take a breather do ya? Lucky for us. I hope you gets a flu shot or at least pony up on the herbs and vitamins for the Holiday Stressfest/Cold & Flu Season so you can stay the Energizer Kitty you are. Thanks to you and Her Pheroness for clearing this up for the less-than-a-year-olds. It does sound like fun (and a perfect chance to try the pheros I've been curious about - but then, that's the whole idea behind it, right?) Smmmaaaarrrttt! So excited - to say the least!
  8. LOL thanks Dolly, obviously the "newbieness" hasn't worn off yet... I forgot that it only applied to the UNs. Good advice though, and worth a try to keep a scent I really like. Thanks
  9. Sorry if this is a silly question, but since I wasn't here for last year's Pheromas I have no clue what to expect (kinda like when I was anxiety-ridden over the SALE, which I'd never been through either until now!) The sampler (and FB) packs are usually 10-11 bottles, right? And in this year's, Mara is (perhaps) including the anticipated 'energy' phero to test with the samplers. My question is this: how do you determine which 10-11 pheros to include in the Pheroma month set? Or is it the same selection each year? Are they sprays or RBs (or does the stank-factor determine that?)
  10. I absolutely LOVE EBIL-ish 2014 but I just wish it was heavier/lasted longer on me! I'm blowing through the bottle just trying to keep the scent at a level where I can smell it (other than cramming my nose into my arm!) Lately it seems like stuff I love isn't lasting very long on me - not sure if that means there are certain common notes that just get sucked into my chemistry or what. I'd love to know if anyone got this in the silicone base and if it makes any difference with the scent throw.
  11. Wow I TOTALLY snoozed on this thread... I'm with Birkey on this one (dancing or working either way - just the inspiration to start moving would be wonderful!) and I love that we may have an appetite supressant and "natural" Botox alternative (for relaxing that stubborn little stress wrinkle between the brows!), LOL. Sounds almost too good to be true! AND whatever that technical stuff is that Her Expert Pheroness Halo said... I want to feel like a Queen Bee and start flipping my hair, too, so I'm ALL in. Thanks Mara!!!!
  12. CP.... whaaaaaa???? Did I miss something here? Has there been talk (or better yet - a PLAN) for an 'energy-inducing' phero?!?! So far, LFN and Leather are the only ones that rev my motor a bit (Let me clarify here, my 'get shit done' motor, as opposed to the other kind) I wish someone could invent bottled energy....LOL
  13. This is probably my fav Sugared so far... it really is a nice addition to anything I've paired it with. Doesn't last on me as long as I'd hoped but it is a great scent by itself or as a topper for many LPs! It will be the first FB I actually get in the Sugared line.
  14. This one is SO cool... I haven't tried layering it yet but by itself it is one of "those" scents that I can't stop huffing! It's like a photo that I can't look away from - I don't LOVE the smell on me alone, but I keep going back to it and trying to figure out what to pair it with. QG do report back on how the EM works... I love black pepper (on food) so I have no doubt that adding this little gem to SOMETHING is going to make a killer scent.
  15. LOL well then I finally have a reason to try OCCO Black! Like I ever actually need a reason to get more LPs. I like to *think* there's a method to my madness though. I love Sugared Cherries even by itself! Definitely a staple for me now - and it lasts a good while (which I can't say about many of the sugareds on me!)
  16. Wow BC I came here to read and do a review and you said everything I was thinking. It is taking me a long time to get through my FP 2013 because its SO sweet and marshmallow-y to me, and interestingly enough sometimes the cassis decides to "bloom" on me (so I have to be careful about overdoing it). It's gotten to the point that I really have to be in the "mood" to wear it (although I always get compliments). 2014 feels completely different to me - definitely more grapefruit initially, but I love that it's more of an uplifting, bright scent than the heavier sugar-y spice vibe I get from 2013. Definitely more grown-up feeling. I don't think it lasts on me as long as 2013 does, but that's a trade-off I'm willing to make for something that I'll definitely wear more often.
  17. How I need to have an LP BUDGET

  18. Solar eclipse to clea

  19. This was extremely honey on me when I first applied it, then it morphed into more of an exotic, amber driven perfume scent. It is lovely, and lasts quite a long time on my skin (a plus these days) but I'm not sure it's FB bound. I did not get the cops or Aja smell at all (other than the honey reference) so I was totally surprised this one was 'enhanced'.
  20. YES and thanks to you my dear I got a FB unsniffed!!! Certainly pays to have friends with expert & excellent sniffers!
  21. I wasn't sure what to expect of this, as clove can sometime over-amp on me to the point of nausea. What a WONDERFUL surprise though! It is a perfect balance of vanilla, musk and just a touch of spice that gives it that little yummy edge without being overly foodie. I expected Warm & Toasty to be a clear favorite for me in this bunch, but W&T is a distant second to Ebil-ish '14. I still need to see if it will last for awhile without needing to re-slather... lately scents that I absolutely love are being sucked into my pores all too quickly. I tried layering this with Sugared Cream and it is delightful
  22. I'm sure they are 'alike ' to me only because of the almond. BTN is different In the sense that the almond is in your face and 'sharp'... I can't slather it on without clearing the room (even tho I love the almond) it's like wolfsbane to to males in my den. Alabaster Queen is such an awesome blend that nothing body slams you at first whiff, even tho it is a heady scent.
  23. I absolutely love this one... reminds me of the yummy pralines we always get when we visit New Orleans. It is quite foody, but there is a sticky-sweet sexiness to it as well. Wearing this one puts ALL my boys in a good mood. I would easily pair this with MLH when I'm hanging with my kids, or, on the other extreme, BI for when I'm trollin' for some attention from my hubs. It lasts a long, LONG time too... I can still smell that sticky bun yumminess hours later.
  24. This one reminds me a lot of Because the Night... with a tad more depth than just the almond bite that BTN has (I love BTN, but my SO described it as "sharp" almond scent that makes him want to sneeze, LOL, so I just wear BTN when I want to enjoy it!) This has a dense full body to it that lasts a very long time on my skin - and even the last few huffs I can get of it are just dreamy. There is a creamy almond pastry scent in Alabaster Queen... something that you want to savor. I get a tiiiny bit of lemon zest at the first application, but it quickly goes away leaving a beautiful, elegant scent. And the label is gorgeous to boot.
