The sale. I try not to think too much about it now otherwise my anxiety level will be off the charts by the time it gets here. I'm with you Amalthea...I didn't think much about the Sugareds until reading all these posts! I don't have sugared ANYTHING so trying to 'narrow' my list is futile. I don't know who added this emoticon, but it is the perfect oxymoron for Sugared Pure/Pure Sugar... Hello Kitty the Snake Charmer.

Yeah thanks alot SJM... I adore blood orange and if you think this is 2 bottle worthy that was enough to push me over the cliff (see where that couple is standing on the label??? I flew right by them into that sunset and they didn't even flinch.) We are all such a good/bad influence on one another! I already salivated & took a big 'ol bite of Key Lime Kiss. I was trying to practice restraint. At least I can enjoy these two citrusy desert indulgences without my A~~ expanding 2 inches.

OK I can't stand it. Mara, If there's any left, I'd like one of J's Sunset Kiss to go with my Key Lime Kiss. Might as well get my Citrus quotient for July. ETA: *falls to knees* ... AND a Lady Luck (My name is LoveStruck and I'm a coconut ho) AND if Sleep Tight Might ever gets a rebrew please put me on De List I have no self control. And no shame. Thought I could make it... but... my little LP box arrived today *sigh* and it begins... again.

UPDATE! I know this is going to sound weird but I had a Reese's Peanut Butter Cup moment today (for those of you who might remember the old Reese's commercials where a boy eating peanut butter runs into a girl eating chocolate = Reese's, etc.) I got my July order with my Beefcake sampler, and I had also ordered a Charlene's Sanctuary. I rolled CS on my right wrist to test (lovely, BTW). Then I started testing my sampler... I only decided to try the Crescendo spray though. I aimed it at my left wrist and a huge wet squirt came out, so I quickly slammed my two wrists together (so not to 'waste' that squirt of Crescendo) totally forgetting I had already swiped CS on my right wrist. The resulting fragrance was incredible... and Crescendo has Topper too which is a BONUS. Both of them are great individually but layered...NOM. I didn't think I'd get a FB of Crescendo but now I have to just to have it layer with my CS! I haven't even compared all the notes of these two to even see if they sound like they could be layered... but I'm here to tell you they can. Love it when olfactory magick happens. BG I have a bottle of Ambrosial Summer that's about 75% full. It was one of my first purchases in April but hasn't been getting much love since then because of the other LPs movin' in! I'm actually trying to decide what I'm willing to part with to start a trade thread of my own; AmSum is one I may list. If you don't get one in the sale then check back with me. There's been a couple that I've had samples of that are actually LONG gone so I know how it feels to hope a long-lost scent re-surfaces at some point! You're pretty new (like me) and so I understand the "wants and NEEDS list" of LPs that seems to grow daily, LOL. FYI - I've actually purchased some 2009s and earlier that have aged incredibly well and are wonderful. Case in point, early on when I was shopping the trades I was actually concerned about 'shelf life' of some of the scents. I've learned that they last a very long time and some actually improve. Many of the forum vets still have some yummy blends that may be years old, but they have been carefully stored and treated like the treasures they are. Another thing I've learned (about myself, actually) is that something I perhaps didn't care for initially suddenly becomes a go-to scent! I think that's why starting a trade thread is SO hard. I think RoseB said it's like ripping off a bandaid and I now understand what she means! And if you haven't read this before... there is such a thing as "travel shock". I remember sitting down with my Crayons: sampler (my first) and thinking there was nothing for me in those scents! I let them rest a week and revisited...and then there were TOO many I wanted FBs of. It's one of those uncanny mysteries of LP...

I bought this recently off the trading post and I'm in LOVE with it! It's definitely a summer suntan warm skin fragrance. NOT suntan oil, mind you, just an uplifting hypnotic blend of vanilla and sandalwood with just a whiff of smooth coconut milk once in awhile. Amalthea I can't believe you found 2 bottles! I need to find a back up bottle as well! To THINK this one is 5 years old and has aged beautifully.

I know, isn't it awesome? The notes have all melded together so seamlessly now... I can't believe I'd wish I'd gotten 2. I'm a coconut ho as well, but this offers SO much more and it's amazing to me that this incredible smell comes from 4 simple ingredients that I would NEVER think to combine! I guess I may have to copy Wendy's PE next summer, LOL.

I love this but my skin just sucked it up! I mean ten minutes and I couldn't smell a smidge left on my wrists. I'm wondering if this would be the one to finally get with the silicone... I'm afraid the spray would dissipate too quickly too!

I can't say I've had any 'selfies' with Lumina, but then I've never actually been looking for them either! I've been just looking outside myself for 'validation'! Geez that sounds like a psych evaluation

That's interesting Hearts... do you get any results from Pop Potion? I was torn between ordering Lumina and PP... kinda wish I'd gone with PP now. Do you use UNCougar or the scented (or both?)

MM is great, just lacking something more for me. I wish I could find ST (per earlier thread) to layer it with! Asked my HB if he liked this one or (the more honey-esque) Alabaster Queen & surprisingly MM won hands down. It just lacking something to "anchor " it for me.

SL I know I was about to give up on Lumina. One day I opted for 4 sprays in a "WTH" moment and it made a difference in the way people were acting around me. I may even squeak it up to 5 just to test. It has taken more w/lumina than with Cougar or any other Un I've used...not sure why though.

I have Topper and Lumina in spray - and yes they are both good for layering on top of the oil based scents. I have Cougar Scented in RB and I'm almost out... I'm actually thinking of going spray next time, although I do get plenty of hits from the oil so apparently diffusion isn't an issue. When I first bought Cougar several of the vets recommended OCCO Pink with it - and that IS a great combo if you want to amp up the EoW level. If you read back on this post, you'll see that I had a tough time getting any 'hits' from Lumina... had to find my "sweet" spot (#) as it were... 4 sprays. I do love Topper, but Lumina is more of a feminine edge UNphero, and it just recently got added back to the phero list this year. I've done quite a bit of experimenting (and READING, OMG) the past 4 short months here on LPMP, but I still rely heavily on the suggestions and guidance of a few key forum members that have a wealth of knowledge, to say the least. Sounds like you're having a ton of fun Beach Goddess! It's an addicting (and expensive) habit!

This is an older thread but I have been curious about this one for awhile... I always see 11's. Usually 11:11 on clocks, but the number 11 shows up in other weird ways (like an order number at a deli or on a receipt) but always in a way as if to say "here I am - #11". In numerology, both my birthdate and birthname go to 11 - which means my "life path" number is, yes, ELEVEN. So... finally scored a sample of this and I have to say it is incredible and difficult to describe. You know that smell when you walk into a candleshop or new age apothocary? That feel good buzz that just envelopes you, yet you can't identify any particular note? That's 11. A whirling dervish of scents impossible to pin down. That being said, I would prefer this as a wax melt, room or pillow spray. I did apply it - not even very much - on my wrists and after an hour I felt like I was high or something; really in a 'fog'. Not sure of 11's 'intent' as a perfume. Just maybe what I felt is exactly "it" - overindulgence (of fragrance notes in this case) and the resulting brain "fog", LOL. It seems to waft between wonderful and overbearing for me... can't imagine what it will do to those in my "wake"... we shall see.

This does scream RED at first sniff Tart, juicy RED. I love it in the vial, but on my skin it amps the REDWOOD, which is shocking because it's the last ingredient! I've noticed lately that woods seem to always push their way to the top when they are on my skin. Sadly, not working for me, but A Treasure of Rubies is just the ticket for fruit juicy red fans.

I wish I got some of the fruit in this one! All I seem to get - even after 40 min - is chocolate covered amber!

Started out liking this one, but now it seems the cedar and balsam are duking it out for top note. There are so many other great notes in this one - I really hope it settles down and ages a bit softer. It stays for hours.

I'd vote for LFM... if Cougar hasn't given you the results you want yet. You might consider getting a bottle of Lumina Spray or Popularity Potion in your next order. Treasured Hearts and Heart & Soul are both really good socials, the latter I prefer for more intimate gatherings (5 or less). Good Luck and be sure to post how it goes!

This is probably a no-no, but I used my Cougar Potion RB oil today, then sprayed Lumina 4X over clothes, etc. I'm guessing these two are ok to layer... nevertheless the (younger) men at the studio today got really tongue-tied and clumsy around me (two separate incidents) I didn't think anything of it until the second guy started acting like a nervous prom date, then I thought "Coincidence? Or Cougar/Lumina?" Of course I don't know if it was a combination, Cougar (which does get hits) or a hit - FINALLY - from Lumina. At least it was fun.
