Thanks ladies, I was thinking Balm Bomb too! I don't have that, but I do have something similar from a different company which was my first full bottle phero purchase. Not sure if it's ok to mention it here. I tried that today, to no avail. Yes, it calmed me down, but as in I just didn't give a fuck anymore for a few hours. Not exactly the effect I was looking for. Now, in terms of him doing his part, I wish he did - and he tries, but since I'm the one who is more domestically inclined of the two, he just doesn't think of certain things... like maybe I should tell her not to walk around with shoes on before phergineer gets upset about it. It's a done deal... But, he has already invited her over for Thanksgiving. So I have to be cordial to her then too, plus his entire family, which I sometimes have trouble with. Let me clarify something - they are all nice to me, I am the one that has trouble sometimes because of situations like this. Well, in this woman's case, she's nice to me, and I have always had trouble around her. So, I guess I need something that makes me feel good. The last time she was over and we had dinner together (she, my fiance and I), I lit up a wax melt with Topper. I'm not sure it helped me though... I was able to talk a bit more, but not with her, just with my fiance.

BlueBear - that's one of the things that got my fiance and I fighting yesterday. I said - "ok, I'm not happy with this, but she can stay with us... as long as our plans do not change tomorrow" and then I brought up the fact that I am not too happy with how close they are... Well, he did not take that very well. "I don't understand what in my character would even make you think I'd disrespect you in such a way?! She just wants to be your friend, and you keep pushing her away! What did she do to you to make you dislike her so much? Yes she put her stuff on your art work last time, but she did not do it on purpose! It's like you do not want to help people unless you get something out of it" Which is not true... He knows I go out of my way for people, but not if I feel they take advantage of me, which this is what this situation feels like. She had a place to stay on Friday night, but then she claimed it was too far from the airport and asked if she can crash at our place Saturday night. So my fiance said she'd be out in the morning, taking a cab to the airport... Riiiiight... Our entire day today was spent around her schedule, and taking her to the airport. And now I have to clean up!!! StacyK - thanks, I don't feel so crazy reacting this way anymore. I think I'm going to make him clean the bathroom. I know i'll have to audit his work, as he's never done it before, but maybe he'll get where I'm coming from. As for what makes me feel in charge... DOM!!! The one time i wore it, my fiance was very submissive, but I am not sure he actually enjoyed doing so... I have not had much success with LFM yet, but I'll keep trying.

I am fuming and really need something to calm me down right now. I know this is not an isolated situation, as my fiance's family are slobs and I have to bite my tongue when they are over our house. His father licks his fingers when he cooks and then he uses the same unwashed fingers to grab the food he then serves to us... Ok, maybe I am OCD, but I just cannot get over things like that. I am mentally preparing for their arrival, and along with that, a little help from pheros would be nice. So, I really need something to help me be more relaxed around such house guests while getting my fiance on my side - making him understand that I work hard to keep this house in shape - and putting my foot in the door in a nice way around guests. I guess I have two things to deal with - tense situation with my sweetheart as a result of my inflexibility and irritability when people treat our home like a hotel, and me shutting down around them when these people are inconsiderate from my point of view. Don't get me wrong - I know they aren't mean spirited (or at least I hope they aren't) but that doesn't mean I should let them walk all over me.

I guess the question itself may scream Open Windows, but let me share a bit about my situation first. .. I am an introvert. In my personal space, with my immediate family and fiance, I am relaxed, silly, simply myself. However, if anyone invades my private space, I put up a front. I become passive aggressive. Here's an example. This weekend we had plans, my fiancé and I to go for a bike ride and brunch. Saturday, one of his coworker/ girl friends texts him and asks if she can stay over at our place, after she had already borrowed his car the entire day. She's been looking for an apartment in the area, being out of town. I foresaw this happening, and got frustrated. Last time she stayed with us, she made herself really at homw, putting her clothes over my artwork and shoving her clothes in my closet. My fiancé said she'd fly out this morning and our biking and brunch plans wouldn't change. I doubted it. This morning, turns out she doesn't fly out until the evening, and our plans were out the window. He's blamed me for shutting her out and being inflexible - which i am. He says he's just helping a friend and she wants to be my friend. He says I always stress out when his family comes over too. My question is - what phero would help me overcome my anger towards her and be open? I really don't want to be around her, but I realize I have to make an effort, to show I am mature enough. I understand my reactions may be unwarranted. I just don't enjoy when someone imposes on me.moreover, my fiancé and I have been on bad terms all weekend because of my attitude... Indigo, i hope you fully recovered and are back to your healthy, happy self! I was wondering if you have any updates on this? Which phero did you go with and how did it go for you? Do any other members have reports of what pheros have worked well for them in terms of favors? Is the vote still with popularity potion?

I haven't had the chance to test the sexual ones much, so I'm of no help there, but I do agree with Eggers and Dolly - Open Windows rocks! Or try Levitation if you want OW with a more fun vibe, but I have no experience with it. It seems like your arsenal would benefit from a social like that, so far I only see sexy socials. Just my thoughts.

Glad you hear that worked out for you! I spent 6 years in upstate New York, Buffalo/Rochester area, and I too suffered of SAD (I always thought the acronym for seasonal affective disorder is so appropriate!). If only I had found LP scents back then! It looks like the new Open Windows - Lighting in A Bottle might be a good one for you to try as well.

Yes, I am sure I applied a lot more than I used to... since I got my full bottle of unscented Pop Potion, plus a PP enhanced full bottle scent, I forgot how much I used to apply from my Totem Lamb trial vial... And yes, I did have one drink, which I am sure did not help

In way, I am glad I took a while to say "Hi" and make my own mistakes - not to say I won't continue to make any In my excitement of receiving my first LP order, everything I read on the forum was pushed to the back of my head. I don't know why I thought I knew better, and I definitely do not recommend layering, but I guess I had to experience the negative effects on my own. Only then I could get it that layering was not a good idea... I have not layered anything other than cops since my first week of trying pheros. I don't think I've worn anything long enough to determine if they are a favorite. I used to love Totem Lamb with Popularity Potion while I was in Europe, and then when I returned to the States and back to my old job and team, I started wearing SWS, unscented, which seems to work well for my purposes. I am looking forward to getting most of the pheros in unscented form this November I need to find some go-to blends for play-time (social and sexual).

I have been lurking on the forum since August, but I'm obviously still a baby. Aside from introducing myself, I wanted to say "thank you" to the LP community for being so helpful and welcoming. I've learned so much in 3 months, and I know I haven't even scratched the surface! I'm about to turn 30, getting married in May '15, and I live in a desert climate - oil blends are probably best for me. I'm a hardware engineer surrounded by men who look at me like I am incapable of doing my job. Micro-inequities are the norm in my office. I'm an introvert, and this can sometimes make me seem unapproachable, depending on the environment. I found LP while looking for a corporate/office blend. Even though I wasn't able to get a sample of a scent enhanced with Swimming with Sharks on my first order, I got quite a few popular ones that allowed me to start learning about pheromones and LP scents: LP Rouge, Totem Bat, Totem Panda, Totem Lamb, Flutterby, Phero Girl, Exotica, Crescendo, OCCO Ambrosia, Sexology III. (By the way, thank you LP Customer service for shipping this first order lightning fast while I was on extended work assignment in Europe and had a limited time to receive it!) Of course, despite reading on the forum what not to do, I layered complex blends and got myself in bad situation on my first trys. I wore cops in public, while by myself in a foreign country, and had my butt grabbed in the subway by a creepy guy. I OD'ed multiple times and I expect to continue to do so for a while. The toughest part has been getting used to LP scents and learning what works on my skin. I've learned that my skin chemistry changes throughout the month, and that my nose evolves (luckily so does my sweetheart's). I've been fascinated with LP and look forward to apply the scents and/or pheros every day. I can see a difference in my office team dynamics ever since I started wearing the potions. Next is experimenting with sexual blends at home.

This was my first try of Popularity Potion. At first, I thought it smelled like grass... at least in the vial, and when it was still wet on my skin. But as it dried, it reminded me of some of my favorite commercial scents, which I wear every day: Lancome So Miracle and Versace Crystal. To me, it definitely smells green, but fresh. Thankfully, not like cut grass too much, but like a spring day, with fresh spring flowers, some grass in a meadow and the sweetness of the flowers' nectar. I wore this to our engagement photoshoot, and it was perfect. I am sure the fact that we were having photos taken of us in a public turisty place added to the effect, but I felt sparkly and like I was the center of the universe. There were other couples taking photos there - real brides and groomsmen, and they even stopped to look at us and congratulate us (although it wasn't our wedding day!). We had several tourists ask if they can take a photo of us (I did not see them stop and take photos of the brides...), and a few parents with children making remarks like "Look, a fairy!" My fiance and I were able to be our usual silly selves - we got our photos back from our photographer yesterday, and we like 180 out of the 200 she included in the album! And most of them are silly, goofy photos. The most common comment we got on them is "That's very representative of you two as a couple". So, it worked! That day sold me on Totem: Lamb and Popularity Potion.

I will have to write review on PopPotion in the right thread, because other than in the business happy hour instance, I have not had issues with it...

I'll have to try it around my sweetheart... he took a while to warm up to LP scents, and I still get comments that I smell like candles or worse (ugh, honey scents...), but now that he has his own stash of samples to play with, he seems more open to my scents as long as they aren't too dirty or foodie. I think this one will go just fine - it may come across as a little foodie to him, but I should be fine. I can see myself wearing this with LFM, SS4W or LFN.

Upon dry down, this one smells like almond on me... marzipan to be more exact. There is some sweetness and very light creaminess to it, but it stay perfumey overall. And what can be more luxurious than that? It must be the fruit mixed with musks that combine to smell like marzipan on my skin. I like it, it is very sophisticated. This is something I would wear on romantic date at a fancy French restaurant, or waiting for my sweetheart in a silk robe while slathering some cops

I ended up going with Popularity Potion, I read this too late... I can't say it was the best decision. I may have OD-ed. I felt very uneasy. There were only 6 of us at the table, and I wasn't able to take part of the conversation much. I felt out of place. I usually love PopPotion, but this time it just didn't work. People were almost contradicting me whenever I was saying something.

So today I got invited last minute to a happy hour with higher management and the two people visiting from Europe where I'm hoping to score a new job next year. I only have sample vials of pheroed fragrances of popularity potion, dominance and swimming with sharks... it will be a mostly male environment, and I will be the most junior engineer, and one of the very few (young attractive) females. Which one would work best in this situation?
