I had the same experience. It is very sharp on me. I ordered a bottle of Sugared Vanilla just so I can layer it over this and Mean business in case they were to turn out too masculine for me... well, the vanilla gets lost in the sharpness of the Lightning in a Bottle. Only after a while do I start notice some sweetness come through. And I layered a lot more Sugared Vanilla than LiaB. This might be a left for fiance to wear, since he liked Open Windows in Valhala, but I was only able to get a sample of it from the trade forums.

Unfortunately this one does not work on my skin, it's very masculine and sharp. I tried having my fiance do a swipe on his arm, and the reaction was "This smells like urinal cake" I was really hoping for a SWS scent for him, but he rejected it from the start. As for me, I ordered Sugared Vanilla to layer with 2 of the unisex November scents I had ordered after reading everyone's reviews, but Mean Business overpowers the Sugared Vanilla, and when they finally blend, it still smells like some sort of bathroom air freshener with a touch of vanilla on me. Maybe my perception is skewed based on my fiance's comment... but I think I prefer Totem: Beaver over this.

Friday was my fiance's work holiday "party". We all went to Top Golf, which is like a driving range, with couches, bar/food - and everyone takes turns swinging the clubs, like in bowling. I don't know these people well - some not all. Before I left, my fiance asked "Have you figured out the LP scent you're going to wear?" After some research and the advice on this thread, I decided to try the sample of Far Far Away with Audacious I had bought off the trade threads. It was my first time trying it, so it was a risk, but I didn't think Treasured Hearts or Open Windows would work in this situation. Well, I am happy to report that although I did not feel like a rock star and I did not notice a huge difference in myself, I was able to talk to everyone, and even enjoy the "golf" part of the evening. My fiance told me that one of his friends even made a comment to him that "Phergineer's very chatty tonight". It's true, I was - compared to my usual self, but I was also happy to be able to talk to one of the ladies in the group about the woman who decided to leave her thong in our bathroom hung on the faucet... Apparently I'm not the only one who doesn't like her, and I could finally tell someone else who knows her about my experience. You should have seen their faces! She dropped off uninvited uninvited last week at a party the lady I was talking to was having, and did not make a good impression. Now, Audacious worked... but it's sold out! What to do?

I've tried this one twice already, but I don't notice any effects. The first time I tried 1 spray, and since nothing happened, I sprayed one more a few minutes later. Today I used 1.5 sprays... still nothing... I needed to get some creative juices flowing for my Christmas cards, or some focus to help me tidy up the house... But after working on the Christmas cards for a few hours, I got frustrated and gave up. I don't want to try too many sprays - most forum members appear to get best results with 1-2...

I already ordered way too many wax melts, but I am clearly addicted and would like to place another order... I have to try the new scents! PotionMaster, would you mind sharing if you plan on adding any more wax melt items to the Etsy store, or if it's time for me to pull the trigger? Thank you! Thank you for the replies! I don't have "Shut Up and Get a Job" unfortunately, and I am trying to pick a scent that would work... I'll have to read the magikal meanings of the ingredients on the ones I have. I'm considering L'Eau D'Orchide with Sugared Grapefruit, LP White, or Totem Elephant. And, I think I should be wearing Ashes to Dust III on my wrists...

Ok, official job interview tomorrow... one guy is Indian... the other is American. Not sure LFM works well for me, or I just haven't found me sweet spot yet. It's been hit or miss. SWS has been great at work... so what do you suggest? This is for a fairly senior, technical position, a step up from where I'm at. I need to convince them that I know my shit, but also that I can get along with the team. Plus, it will be customer facing - that part I got down. I usually feel confident on SWS, but I'm not sure about making others find me friendly... I need some advice. Would adding Topper ruin the effect?

Tomorrow is my turn at a job interview. It's not really official, it's with one of my previous managers whom I got along with great. I used to think I want this job, since there was nothing else in sight and I wanted to get out of my current team... But now I have a pretty amazing opportunity somewhere else, and I'm not sure what blend would work well in this case. Since the job I'm interviewing for tomorrow is a transfer, there is almost no room for negotiation. I can just say which way I want my career to go and what I'd be interested in doing. No financial/benefits package discussion. Not sure what he could tell me and what attitude to best display. I'd obviously be honest with him, but I have not yet made up my mind about the other position, so I still want him to convince me he wants me on his team. The other team went great lengths to show me they want me...

I really wanted to get some LP Original wax melts too, but I couldn't risk not getting the rest, so I just gave up on the former, and hoping I could maybe have one LP Original wax melt slipped into my pretty large order, or switched with one of the other melts

Back from the in-laws last night, and for the first time this trip actually felt more like a vacation. Well, not like a beach resort vacation, but I could relax! The blend that worked the best turned out to be Treasured Hearts. I could play board games after Thanksgiving dinner, talk to my future in-laws, even to people I had not met before. I even relaxed enough to act a bit more like myself. At one point my fiance was making a kissy face and instead of the proper kiss (more like a peck) I would give him in public, I gave him a tiny silly dog kiss, which I have only ever done in private. Well, his sister witnessed it, and she said, pleasantly surprised, "I've never expected that from you, phergineer!" He was so happy his family got to see more of the real me On the way to the airport, he expressed noticing a difference in my behavior this time versus all previous times I had been around his family and how his family was so happy to spend time with me. He said I was a lot more relaxed and open around everyone. I did try Balm Bomb but that only made me so relaxed, I wanted to go to sleep... I could care less what was going on around me or interact with anyone. SS4W did not seem to fit the family environment, and I never got to try Empathy Potion. Thank you all for your suggestions!!! I will keep experimenting with other pheros and social situations, but I think Treasured Hearts was a great choice in this family gathering case! Please keep in mind that I did not have any "bristly females" to deal with.

Ok, so LFM for Black Friday in a cold climate did not do much... however!!! I applied LFM a few minutes after I got your advice to go with it, and went downstairs to the hotel reception. I was out of town for Thanksgiving. After the incident below, along with how the rest of the Thanksgiving trip went for introvert me (more on the "what phero to help me be more open" thread) even my fiance is starting to believe in the effects of pheromones!! I just posted this review on Etsy (made a few changes for this post): I wanted to try this pheromone blend unscented since the first time I got it in a scent (LP Rouge for forum members in the know) my skin chemistry turned the scent into a less than pleasant smell. The first time I tried the unscented version, I covered it with another Love Potion scent that works for me (Betrothal) and went to the hotel reception to nicely complain about the constant mechanical noise in the bathroom and lack of wifi strength in the room. I had applied it on the back of my hands and made sure to keep my hands on the reception desk in front of the supervisor. 10 minutes later, our hotel rate was dropped almost 10%, he gave us my company employee rate despite the fact that I had not booked the hotel through my company, and took off 2 nights from the final invoice! Wow! Thank you LP and LFM, I am sold!

If they are spiked with a manly sexy phero, I'll take a bunch of Man Cave too! I would like to request 10-12 wax melts I managed to snag the last 2 that were boosted with SS4M a few months ago...

Thanks, great review! I tried Pinnacle and thought that was way too green and manly for me. But, if Sugared Vanilla works well layered with this, then I might give it a try over Totem Beaver.

For those of you who have tried Totem Panda and loved it, how would you rate this compared to Panda? I am looking for an Open Windows scent, and since I haven't sniffed this one yet (but the notes and reviews sounds great) I need some input from the members. Thanks!

Can any of you compare this to Totem Beaver? I've noticed that one works great as a scent carrier for SWS, but I'm not totally sold on getting a full bottle yet, so I'm in between Mean Business (unsniffed) and Beaver for my next order. Thanks!

Should I place 2 different orders if I want the wax melts and the LP scents? One on Etsy and one in the LP website? Or should I just send an email with my full combined order?
