Lisa, invest in some of those photo boxes they sell at Michael's and label the tops! Orrrrr, you can be a crazy person like me and have an entire medicine cabinet installed in your bedroom and fill it with LPs! I got two sale orders. First one is The New Spirit Bottle,Embody the Tarot: The Lovers(WHICH I CAN'T FIND ANY REVIEWS FOR???), and my Freebie is Espiritual. Second order is Original Love Potion (someone STOLE mine ), a small Sugared Majmua, a small Tuberose Fairy Cake, and my freebie is Tails of Mystery (I had a real tough time deciding between that and Crayons: Burnt Umber! Hope I made the right choice! I also have a BOATLOAD of trades coming to me. I can't even remember what they all are right now, but I'm VERY EXCITED! I haven't been able to order any new LPs in over a year, so YAY

Why your welcome! Yeah, I know there's a fine line between "foodie" and "gourmand" and this definitely tips towards gourmand. Its delicious,comfortable and soothing, but the lavender and slightest touch of sparkle from the salt. I was just thinking about how I need to be realistic and not double up on things cause I'll never get through everything I own, but I don't think I could refuse more of this. Legendary..good choice of words! I love when PE's turn legendary!

Holy Crawdads!!! I know this one is old news to the rest of yall, but I just got it in a trade and THATS WHAT IM TALKIN BOUT!! Wowwee, this odd combo is freakishly delicious! It's soooo good. So INTENSE, and interesting! I never would have thought to pair these notes, but damn. I love how it's gourmand, but to me it's not foodie. That salt and that gorgeous intense tea like lavender give it a clean shine while being gooey and drippy and edible at the same time. Perfumely Perfect gourmet goodness. It's pretty straightforward, there's not a whole lot more to say except that the throw and tenacity are also wonderful, I can smell this on myself for hours, and can still smell it on my skin after having it on all night. Oh and it IS sexy. Makes me feel all hot and bothered even whilst covered in baby drool in a shirt that's too big for me. Good stuff man. I love this one! Thanks for the trade Bruiseviolet!! I think I love you!

I've really been craving that kind of pink floral sweetness,rather than pink sugar sweetness...I guess in a fairy cake I'll get both. Thanks again, you have been incredibly helpful to me today!

Testing this again today after I read that it had a chypre in it,and I adore chypre. First of all,the description of this is lovely,bittersweet, melancholy. Gorgeous. I had originally got it because I was fascinated by the Suntan oil note which I didn't pick up on at the time, so I sort of shelved it and forgot about it. Dumb. This stuff is really nifty. Wanna know why? I dunno if Mara intentionally did this or not(probably--she is teh genius), but it wears like a chronological SUNSET in color and tone. Check it, first when you roll it on, you have all this bright citrus and saltwater on top;bright,sunny,yellowy-orange glinting on the water. Next phase of dry down when the midnotes come out,the citrus fades and the whole composition turns twilight time blue..balsam,yucca and here I whiff both the suntan oil and the beginning of my dear chypre..the sun has dipped below the water line,but its still a mid tone blue outside. Finally, in the long dry down,we have this most gorgeous musky chypre. Dark blue in color,its night time now,and the powder from that oakmoss is just doing me in. So lovely! I am so glad I came back to this. It does lose its punch kind of quickly,but all is forgiven because theres an enchanting blue green balsam/oakmoss musk lingering on my skin,and occasionally I'll catch a whiff. Sunset in a bottle! I've never been to California,but if your evenings actually smell this way,y'all got it made!

Hey guys, sorry to sound like a broken record on here, this is the LAST time for at least a week that I'll prod y'all for info, k? This is the most tempting of all the Fairy Cakes to me. I used to THINK I hated tuberose. I was dumb. I was into buying vintage scents for awhile and I tried Versace Blond, and Fracas,ect..dude I freaking LOVE TUBEROSE! And I don't think I have any LPs that contain it. So, my finger is on the button, I'm ready to go for this, but I keep hearing that word "sheer" again..bah! Why? Is this fleeting? No throw? It sounds so damn marvelous, but I really hope it sticks around on my skin awhile. Also hope I can catch whiffs of it on myself. I like my scents to have a bit of potency, and this talk of sheerness and no base notes has me a tad concerned. I hope you guys can reassure me, cause I REALLY want this!

Yo! Are these Fairy Cakes limited edition? Or will they be around for always like the Sugared scents? I had this perfume from Avon when I was young called Comfort Scents spring--something. Anyway, it was a glorious pink flower scent. I don't know if it was sweet pea or magnolia, but I've been CRAVING it, and this months budget is spent(except I still haven't cashed out yet..so there's still time! ) anyway, what are the differences between magnolia and sweet pea to those who have tried both cakes? And are they in fact limited edition? Thanks in advance!! Eta: I know that Maras version of the sweet pink flower I'm after will of course surpass Avon!

Anyone else have a comment on the sillage/longevity of this one? I know the Sugareds and Fairy Cakes are "sheer" but my Sugared Blueberry projects pretty well and lasts a pretty good amount of time on me (as I prefer). I'm imagining this will last too, but the first review sort of has me wondering..

Ha, I'm thinking instead of one large bottle, I'll be getting one of each small one. I can't decide either!

I saw this thread and went and put some on. My baby is teething and upset,and she's been fighting taking a nap for over an hour. Age has really brought the chocolate note to the fore on this one, but its a very nice chocolate. Powdered, like coca mix. Kind of like the "astronaut ice cream" texture that was going on in Rocket Chick. Its still creamy,with a hint of lemon. Such an odd mix,chocolate and lemon, but it does work here. Best of all, after I put it on, I gave Lena her bottle and she passed right out. Soothing indeed. She's sleeping like, ha, well like a baby! This is going into the heavy rotation pile!

Right on, thanks Luna. I'm trying to narrow down a few choices. Hopefully a sample of this one comes my way, but I think I'll hold off on a FB of this for now. Now its between Tuberose Fairy Cake and Sugared Majmua...but I'll ask questions about those in the appropriate sections!

The notes look fairly similar to Lv's Black Panther(swap pineapple for plum), but theres so many varieties of things...is this similar? I really like the PUNCH and lasting power that Black Panther has, and this is sounding kind of 'lite' in these reviews. I'm gonna have a few questions for y'all today. I'm plotting a sale order! Yay!
