  1. I really love this scent, it is uber fresh and quenching. So many of you have already described to perfection how the scent starts out and blossoms, so all I can add to that really is that the hubbs loves this one, and he became very cuddly/friskified, and that to me this one clears my head and makes me feel great. Almost as if I'd walked up that waterfall in the fresh air myself.
  2. Welcome Tanya, that is a good selection to be starting with. Congratulations on your baby and I hope you enjoy the forum.
  3. Yay my wonderful box of treasures arrived yesterday! They were all in perfect condition as always and I just wanted to say thank you to Mara and the team for being amazing and I can't wait to try Le Whizz's bath salts.
  4. Fantastic review Liz, I am really eager to try this one soon. I hope my self effects are at least half as good as yours
  5. My parcel is on the way too! Yippie! Thank you Mara and the team for your speedy service and patience with me when I managed to select all sold out samples for me forum freebies. I'm so daft sometimes I surprise myself.
  6. Great report Lady V, sorry to hear about your nose though - ouchie! Sounds like you were well taken care of though. I am wearing Girly Twirly right now, and it is uber yummylicious! Almost a bit marizpan with fruit... hubbs loves this one on me too.
  7. Oh mystical mysterious Mara, which elusive ingredient is this? I am mucho intrigued...
  8. Wow-weeeeezer Elizabeth! That is one dude dirigible you have rustled up. I love the swing idea, and the tower. I must admit I too smirked momentarily, (as I am a filthy little beast at times...) when Mara requested a cock pit ...naughty....
  9. I got far too excited and placed my order already. 2 from the PE sale (last minute I can't miss out on...) Mark's Tonka Tobaccum and Tobacco Berry - sounds delish...a monthly sampler as they all look amazing, and I was very tempted by the new phero but I will wait until Mara has expertly crafted a scented phero perfume for this. Yippie!
  10. After reading all the fabulous (as always) descriptions I am even more excited about this months releases. I am so glad that I got on and ordered them already! Yippie. I am particularly looking forward to trying out New, Nookie Cookie and Song of the Desert. Well done Ladies!
  11. Wow I will definitely be needing the monthly sampler they all look absolutely great. I am most eager to get my conk around Catie Scarlet's Bewitched & Beguiled and Nookie cookie. Ooooo a party in the sky - how exciting and a perfect excuse to get my wedding dress out (don't worry it's not white), shame to just wear it the once. I can borrow a cat from the neighbours, they are always coming round our house for cuddles anyway - the cats, not the neighbours. I am sure I can craft a tiara out of something...
  12. Awwww, your ninja is way cooler than mine! Where did you find that cute little sausage?
  13. Joining the heavily ninja laiden stalker crew   Addding my ninjas to the cause...
  14. Wow ladies, there is certainly some interesting reviewing going on here. I am so intregued by this mystery phero and can't wait for the unveiling
  15. Great work Lady Victoria. I have really enjoyed reading your reports and I am very much looking forward to hearing more about the mystery phero.
  16. Definitely a fresh, soft summer scent. The lotus and waterlily are just lovely, softened by the heather, freshened by the bladderwrack and water accord but kept in check with a little sweetness. Beautiful.
  17. This certainly is very pretty, and I can pick out the champagne when wet. But sadly gardenia doesn't really seem to be my thing. My mum absolutely adores the stuff, so she will be chuffed to bits if I pass this onto her.
  18. When wet this smells all sexy spice and orangey, mmmmmm nom nom me say. But wait a minute, after dry down it softens out into a gorgeous melding of vanilla, cream, soft spices, brown sugar, chai and orange. A whole new kind of nommy. It is so gorgeous, it lasted for hours and is edibly delish.
  19. I want to eat this one soooo much. To me when wet it smells like irrestible marzipan, when dry the lemon and vanilla come more to the fore, but it remains very mazipan like on my skin. It lasts for ages and is simply scrumptious. Go on Halo, get a bottle you know you want to
  20. I can't believe you've never tried them and yet you got the scent completely spot on! I am as ever amazed with your creative talents. I hope you enjoy the cookies if you make them Ishtar and Calii. Next time I make them I will wear my perfume while I nom on them and then marvel at the identical scent!
  21. Chocolate scents usually don't sit right with me, that is until I found LPMP of course. Mara always manages to get it oh so right. This is a prime example of chocolate scent perfection. I'm not getting the amber massively when wet, it smells more like freshly baked chocolate cake, cooled just enough to slather on the chocolate buttercream icing. Utterly delicious!
  22. Well done ladies, I very much look forward to hearing your reports and learning more about the the exciting new phero.
  23. I love it lots and lots but Voracious is still my fav man smell! It is perfection!
  24. Absolutely drool worthy. Smells just like all good crumbles should, delicious. I want to eat some now! I have been wearing this for quite some time now and the crumble has really settled into a soft whisper and the fruit is smelling more luscious by the moment...nom nom.
  25. The instant I smelled this sample I thought that smells identical to some rose water cookies I like to make sometimes. Literally identical! I went and grabbed the recipe for this and surprise, surprise they are called Shrewsbury Cakes. They are very tasty and really easy to make. Here is the recipe if anyone is interested: ½ cup butter (soft) ½ cup sugar 2 tbsps rosewater 2 ½ cups flour ½ tps nutmeg ½ tsp salt Cream the butter and sugar in a bowl, add the rosewater and blend. Sift in the salt and nutmeg, 2 cups of flour and stir to combine. Knead the mixture and add the remaining flour as required to form a dough ball. Roll out, cut into shapes and bake for 15 minutes at about 160˚C, or until lightly golden on top.
