  1. Cinnamonmel, you are right. Regarding your advice, I'm thinking the same. Congrats to your new date. Good luck & have fun!
  2. Cinnamonmel, thank you so much for the hugs. Yeah, his behaviour sucks sometimes. I haven't said anything to him because he promised to make up for the trip on a later date. Well, let's wait and see. As you mentioned: people who do this do it again and again. On the other hand, to his defense I have to say that whenever we are together he is very sweet and caring.
  3. CM, so sad that he cancelled the date. Stupid men who can't plan their date properly and not clarifying beforehand whether they will be free on that day or not. My BF is doing such things all the time. Just recently he invited me for a holiday trip to which I was happily looking forward to, but just 2 days before the trip he cancelled it because he was too busy. Eggers, what you said about dating friends or co-workers, I have to agree 100%. I never understand why some people think this would'n be a good idea. As for my experience: we see our co-workers every day in their own (working-) environment, so they behave naturally and we can get to know them how they are and how they behave towards others etc. IMO, it's a really good environment to find a soulmate or even a casual bf. Synergist, your theory "that as long as you are always honest with each other, you can't really hurt each other, the only real hurt comes from secrets and lies", that is very true. Honesty is actually the main point in any partnership, be it a casual one or something more serious. Many people feel comfortable with a "friendship with benefits" or "friendship plus" (don't know if this is the correct word), friendship with sex but without much commitment. The main point is being honest with each other so that nobody gets hurt. It's much better than pretending a deep commitment and at the same time cheating behind the partner's back. That really hurts. Times have changed, and the way how men and women interact with each other and what they expect from their sex partner, that also has changed. But honesty always remains important.
  4. I would hesitate wearing BANG! with a guy who is very much attracted to me while I'm not. I did this once with the result that he became very bold and as I didn't respond he became angry. I would suggest OW or PP (makes me feel confident and always leads to nice conversations). I think even SS4W is okay because it has no cops, it's sexy but not sexual. I'm also curious to know about the 4 man plan Pleeeeaase let us know!
  5. Just ordered a bottle of Topper Spray, samples of Purple Puff and Vanilla Dream as well as Raspberry Chiffon and Glass Slipper as forum freebies. And some empty glass spray bottles for mixing my pheros with the perfume.
  6. OCCO Ambrosia is out of stock, even the trials oh no ... Ok, I'll patiently wait for a rebrew because this one is the best of all my OCCO scents. In spite of the large amount of cops in it, there is not the tiniest bit of cops-smell. It's unbelievably delicious!
  7. Ladies, thank you once again for your good advice and wishes. MLH was a good choice and everything went well. I wrote about my experience in the phero area.
  8. I used MLH for the first time at some kind of family meeting. I went to see my son to discuss some important things with him and I was a bit worried because he usually won't listen to anybody and refuses any advice. Well, this time, I applied MLH (1 spray splitted between my wrists) and refreshed 3 hrs later with 1 more spray. As cover scent I used 'Give Peas A Chance' and I also wore a drop of 'Persuasion Potion' from LP Spell collection. I was calm and confident. My son was relaxed as well. When we discussed his further studies, financial part etc., he listened patiently and was even willing to take my advice (which he usually doesn't). I think MLH was a good choice for that situation and things became smooth and better than I had expected. So, what I can say about MLH: it works with grown-up children, too. PS: Regarding drowsiness/sleepiness which other forum members mentioned, I also experienced a slight unusual sleepiness at the end of the day, but I really cannot say for sure if I should associate this with the phero. Concerning the smell, I did not detect any unpleasant smell after covering with the perfume, though 'Give Peas A Chance' is just a light floral scent.
  9. Ladies, thank you so much for your suggestions! I was a bit torn between MLH, TH and OW. I think I'll try my luck with MLH and a suitable scent which makes me feel confident. Mara, I have tried TH several times with female relatives and it worked great (I've never tried it with males). Well, as I do not have TeddyBB, I'll stick with MLH. Raq On, I agree with you that our kids often listen to us on an unconcious level so that we are not really aware of it. So, I will not give up hope. Thank you for your good wishes. I'll report when I come back.
  10. I'll be going to meet my grown-up son this weekend. I see him very seldom because he is staying far away from my place due to his studies. Well, I need to give him some advice regarding his further studies and some financial matters. He is that kind of person who never listens to others and makes things more difficult than they should be. That's why I want to talk to him and I'd be glad if he would listen to me. I'm thinking about wearing MLH, which I have but never tried so far. But may be MLH is not so suitable for 'adult kids'? Another choice would be Treasured Hearts. This seems to be good for family reunion. But will it be a support when giving advice? SWS? ....may be not. How about Open Windows? Does anybody have an idea for this situation? I'd very much appreciate suggestions from other forum members.
  11. Yeah, it really smells like sunshine, like a happy day at the beach. It's quite herbal but well balanced with lemony notes. I'd love to smell it on a guy.
  12. White nectarine and rhubarb - these two notes I've never smelled in a perfume before. It's fruity - ambery - musky, reminds me of Knot (one of my favourites). De Luscious is delicious, the perfect fruity scent for summer.
  13. I get Ylang Ylang first. Then a bit of apricot and fig after a while, but no honey. I like it when wet, but I think I have to wear it a bit longer to see if the scent would change.
  14. Just received my OCCO Ambrosia today. First impression: light almond or bitter almond (must be the cherries). A few minutes later: mango, very sweet and juicy. About 20 min later: the vanilla comes out just to round up the whole impression as a juicy ripe mango with powdered vanilla sugar topping. Absolutely fabulous! And BTW: no cops smell at all!
  15. As I like them all, I will buy the sampler set first. And a few other trial vials: Mississippi Moon, Kitten Heels and as monthly freebies: a Touch of Cerise and Raspberry Chiffon. I need some more empty spray bottles as well, to carry my parfume/phero mixes in my handbag. I'm also tempted by the new 'Topper', but I'm not sure if I can afford it this month or next month.
  16. This month I like all the new releases. Beautiful labels and descriptions! The Topper phero seams to be a very useful tool, even for every-day use. And OCCO Ambrosia: the label is so pretty - I'm eagerly looking forward to trying the new scent.

    The Sand Box

Yeah, Molls, you should give it a try. Just allow the scent to settle down on your skin for some time. Hope you'll like it. Oh really? That's why I think I can make out some light cinnamon notes. Thank you, Luna.

    The Sand Box

The first time I sniffed 'The Sand Box' in the vial, I thought: may be not for me, and I'd put it aside. Yesterday, I opened it again and tried it on my wrists. Well, that was a big surprise: after half an hour, the scent somehow mellowed on my skin to a very lovely scent which made me want to sniff my wrists all the time. I think, according to my taste, the best ingredient in this blend is the Egyptian Musk. Reminds me a bit of some rare incense. The fig is rather faint, as well as Vanilla and Resin. As for the Cassia flower: I'm not really sure about what Cassia flower smells like. Anyway, this blend is a winner!
  19. Oh so pretty labels, sooo excited to read the decriptions. And yet a new phero blend!
  20. I agree, MDC, adding a bit more alpha-nol and cops can make a phero blend even better. I added a little bit LAM to H&S ... cuddly reactions from BF.
  21. Reminds me of 'Christine's Tropical Musk'. A fresh summer scent, very green. But I think it's not for me, a bit too much of green notes for my taste.
  22. I can smell the fig and, I think, must be the vetiver (a grass plant, isn't it?). Usually I don't like myrrh and frankincense, but in this combination it's more in the background, giving way to the fig (which I'm loving). I've never tried 'Sugared Magi', but 'Enchanted Wonderland' is definitely a winner.
  23. Today it's the second time that I'm wearing 'The Perfumed Whisker'. Still I cannot say which notes are the most prominent ones. It reminds me a bit of 'Soie Et Fourrure' - both lovely perfumes without any particular note standing out above the others. It's an every-day-scent, office friendly and also great with some phero-mix such as Popularity Potion.
  24. On my skin, it is stronger than PG, less honey but lots of cocoa, reminds me of Glistening Buttons. The EoW is perfectly covered, still I'm not sure if I would wear it to the office. I think I'll keep it for evening. BTW: The pouch with the cat's paws is so pretty and suits so well with this month's releases!
  25. Fruity, with a hint of Vanilla and Amber. I have mixed it with LACE beta x1 in a small spray bottle. I put 2 to 3 sprays on my hair. It lasts a few hours and the scent is just amazing, so sweet and spring-like.
