    Pomme de Poison

Love love LOVE Salem, although I've never been there at the height of their tourist season (i.e. Halloween). But yeah, that's one place where the Haunted New England vibe is very strong, IMO. Steph I'm jealous that you lived in Boston except for the crazy frozen water part, heh.
  2. You and me both, sister!
  3. That would be me. I figured that was all there is because either you or Danna noted your pumpkin sources were rather scare this year. Thank you, babe, this is absolutely amazingly delicious and you're a treasure to brew it for us!
  4. With a heavier cops mixture like BI you just have to be patient and let it dry down. Too many times new users freak out when they first smell it without realizing it WILL settle down after twenty minutes or so.
  5. Because Woozy Floozy is such a high concentration of a-nol, that's what it's designed for: the giggly giddy extremely silly happy. If you want to have others react in that way then the spray would be the best, but you may also have some affects from it as well. If you don't want that kind of feeling/affect at all then you'd be better off using a-nol in either a lower concentration or in combination with other compounds.
  6. Danna already stated in the "rumor control" thread that the P-com CB is not completely sold-out yet, but it's not available from the drop-down so you have to request it specifically as an add-in.
  7. That is exactly why I said: ...because I know Quince is going to lose his mind when he smells this on me. I've been giving myself a few tiny dabs and then because I wanted to wait I've just been huffing the bottle. Oh my stars sooooo fuckable gourmand!
  8. All it has is EST - maybe too much EST for him? Or maybe if he still wears the Heart & Soul-amped fragrance then he's having a bad reaction to EST on you now. Hard to say, really. I think it's personally subjective...I'm attracted to anyone who attracts me, whether they're into me or not. I've been known to carry a torch for someone for years, so...but I'm a fantasy-driven person (which is typical for Pisces) so secret crushes and whatnot are fairly normal for me. Taurus is a good match for Pisces, as are other Pisces (although that doesn't work for me), and Capricorn too (my delicious Mr. Rabin is a Capricorn, *dreamy sigh*).
  9. Okay, severely o/t, but...the thought of a Mormon in the Lifestyle made me LOL so hard. Carry on.
  10. This I would agree with...as I said it's not as weighty as SLF but it has that same aura to it. For me, I was a bit worried that the almond would not play nice (almond doesn't always like me, i.e. Fortune Cookie) but it blends nicely with the other elements and lends a really lovely warmth to the whole thing.
  11. Skelly Head Flambé Banish the chill of Fall by setting your skull on fire with this molten mix of Brown Sugar, Woods and Spices that will get your passions flowing and amp your energies into high gear. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Magickal Meanings of Ingredients: SPICES ~ Lust, love, invigoration. ALLSPICE ~ Luck, health, prosperity, money. CINNAMON ~ Male sexual stimulation, passion, lust, healing, protection, energy, creativity, psychic powers. NUTMEG ~ Strengthens clairvoyance, luck, money, health, fidelity. BROWN SUGAR ~ Attracts love, luck, sweetness, riches, lust-inducing. WOODS ~ Enhances perception of beauty, love, sensuality, money, luck, hex-breaking. NOTE: Although well diluted, this potion contains cinnamon essential oil which can be irritating to the skin. Do not use in the vicinity of the eye or other mucous membranes. Discontinue use if sensitivity occurs. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Though I rarely mention it on my Top Five, ...Everything Nice is truly one of my favorite LPMPs of all time. But I suppose the reason I don't mention it is because it makes me sad to love it so. Those of you who have a bottle (or multiple bottles - damn you dirty hoarders) or even just a sample know what I mean. I described it as "the Platonic Ideal of sugar and spice" and it is a perfect round warm sweet creation which just makes me feel whole. Like putting on a favorite item of clothing: perfect fit and feel and color and it makes you say aaahhh. So now the question is: Can I possibly feel the love for anything which I feel for ...Everything Nice? ...maybe. Mara and I had a discussion regarding Skelly Head Flambe, which has a heart of mahogany, another smooth warm wood. I've always felt mahogany, like teak, is one of those "refined" woods which makes you think of heavy fancy furniture. The spice is entirely present but not overwhelming, but I think the brown sugar is more prevalent wet than on skin, at least for me. Spices will normally run rampant on me if a blend has a high spice ratio. Over time the wood comes out and it's a deep rich piquant melange but definitely without the specific woodiness or sweetness which EN has. There's a characteristic of wood, but not so specific. But I like it, I do. If anything this is more masculine than EN, which has a "golden" quality and always struck me as more feminine but a man could enjoy it too (and Quince does, for example). But if you think it's too spicy at first, let it settle down...it should in about twenty minutes or so, then judge it, because it does have sort of that same smooth warm blanket of aaaahhh, if a little more "peppy," shall we say. And for those of you in the chilly climes I think it would be a really nice cold-weather scent. But definitely dab it on the nearest XY too, because it's the kind of scent which they would enjoy if they're not adverse to spice-and-woods. And of course if you never tried ...Everything Nice but wondered what all the fuss was about, then definitely give this a whirl because it is very close to that golden moment in perfume time. *edit* After about...say...three hours wear the two are very similar.
  12. *snickers from the Naughty Corner* I'm the annoying type of reviewer who has to experience things one at a time, I will be posting about Skelly Head Flambe today but otherwise it's going to take me a while to seriously describe them. djac: Shelly can't fully commit to me, I'm a very High Maintenance kind of mistress.
  13. Never fear, tomorrow you may carry on with your campaign of Astoundingly Sexy Wickedness. I will not tell you to be patient because of course U HAZ NONE.
  14. Well, I was flirting and she finally just succumbed to my incredible charisma. I'm sneaky like that.
  15. Well after they've fulfilled their usefulness, that is... And yeah he's a guy, just like I told you.
  16. Now baby you know don't need pheros to seduce me. Same warm skin with thick musky honey sex underneath but the honey and amber are lightened somewhat by the almond, which lends warmth but not soapiness. There is a clean-just-on-the-edge-of-dirty quality but it doesn't have the same weight as SLF. The almond is a very obvious top note wet but not on skin, at least not for me. This is a skin scent which is more skin than sex whereas it's the opposite with SLF. However, remember: -YMMV -It may deepen with age. When it's brand-new a lot of times certain qualities are not immediately appreciable.
  17. The new phone books are here!I HAZ MAH SMELLIES! First impressions: -OMGYAIS Pumpkin Shake Rattle n'Roll* is sooooo delicious! Oh man am I going to get molested with this one! -Heh, just like Shelly wanted, B-Gasm is SLF Part Deux, but maybe not as heavy as the Honeyed Amber and Musk. -Skelly Head Flambe is a lot like Everything Nice, but perhaps a tad spicier. -7 Minutes to Midnight and Sassy Sibylla are kind of the opposite of what I'd thought they'd be. -NOX '09 is pretty much identical to the original, to my nose. -On The Boardwalk = carnival yumminess! -LP Autumnal Equinox '09 is a lot like '07, mmmm! -Nosfy's Aperitif reminds me of La Boom! if La Boom! had more chocolate. -Pomme de Poison must have benzoin, or something else that doesn't like me. -The Good Witch is very cute-smelling. -Mercury Retro-Naught is a nice floral/herbal type of blend. *Mara, please tell us what's in it!!!
  18. Well those pajamas aren't really for keeping the cold away...especially the kind of cold you get!
  19. I haven't tried any of the B&B except for a sample of Coeur de l'Amour olive and shea cream I got in an order a while back. I liked it, it was very moisturizing, but I have so much Villainess and Goth Rosary stuff that I just haven't gotten around to branching out from the 'fume.
  20. Like with anything, you have to be ready to support the effect: if you're in the mood to be Miss Fabulous, SC will help you with that. It will assist you in rocking the house. But even if you're acting nonchalant, people may still be drawn to you, and so you can respond to that accordingly.
  21. It can, in the right circumstances, make you sparkly and vivacious and attractive to everyone.
  22. Possibly. As some have noted it seems to work to perhaps amplify one aspect above another. Alcohol is a fixative, so the original scent will not evolve with exposure to the air and your skin as it would in oil form.
  23. If you place two or more consecutive seperate orders, they will be combined so it delays shipping.
  24. Yeah I was all "Bet(t)a!" Oh hush, Mistress Liz, you are certainly not dumb! It's just one of those things that if you want to do it you already know why, and if not then you don't have the mindset to "get it" anyway, IMO.
