  1. Yeah that was my thought too...that we would have to wait at least until tomorrow or the next day for something more official.
  2. It's not "kanga," it's "kananga," a derivative of the latin name for ylang-ylang. And also, hoodoo is a magickal system, Voodoo is a religion, so they're not interchangable.
  3. In the general sense it's pink grapefruit, sugars, ambers and musk. In the "spirit" of PG Cougar it's good to use a grapefruit-based scent; for me, I went with Adrienne's Tangy Ylang. But others have had Mara make them a bottle of Sugared Grapefruit with a Cougar add-in.
  4. Well you're extremely attractive and tall so of course you draw stares, even without pheromones I'm sure! Hmm, maybe try Cougar as an experiment; in many cases it seems to have more of a social component but might still give you a sexual aura. But see, that kind of stuff you relate is why I don't like to receive sexual attention - however slight - from random men, because it usually just makes me want to deck them. Uh...if you HAVE a brain, could you please get it out of your dick. Thank you. Then again, I have a strange brain.
  5. Well obviously Shelly and I are just too good at coming up with scented fantasies.
  6. I come from a family of craving (lol) women - pregnant or not - so I totally get that. Sometimes I wear a particular scent because I get a craving for it.
  7. Yeah Woodland Man, to me, is sort of like a greener Teddy Man or a darker Sugared Forest.
  8. That's the point (scents with intent, that is)! So did it stay green on you the whole time? I've been thinking about this one for Q, he likes green scents but I don't know if it might be too green for me to enjoy.
  9. Damn, I was kinda hoping I was the only one...because I'm totally not hoping to see you in your sexah lingerie or anything.
  10. Look missy, we know you're as squishy and sweet as chocolate fondant inside, so don't even play like that.
  11. M&D have wonderful berry notes/accords in their library. I recommend Blood Martini and the sugared varieties as well...I think the sugareds might be sold out, but you might find someone with samples in the Trading Post.
  12. I've been thinking about that; because I've wondered what my son (who is 11-soon-to-be-12), if he was interested in fragrance, would wear. I think boys should smell like grass and dirt and clean air, but that's me. So I'd let him wear Hoyden, for example, because it's Springtime and fresh grass. Or Frog. On the other hand, something like Goblin Goo or Rocket Chick would be fun for a kid - boy or girl - to wear. Then again, it's important to let them develop preferences as well...so although Thane says "man" rather than "boy" to me, if he likes it I don't see the harm.
  13. Murphy's Law of Attraction...when you don't want a man then you're tripping over them in the street, there's so many in your way.
  14. Yeah that's what it is for me as well...BALLS! Did I say that loud enough? I want to make it perfectly clear...
  15. Okay I have just discovered that if you layer The Skank with SLF, they love each other and want to show their love in many many many ways, some of them possibly illegal. But I know you all are looking at me in horror (or envy because you don't have any SLF left). But mmm I am sexxxah!
  16. I can just imagine their noses fainting from envy...or maybe just overload. Shelly I would have thought for sure your Mad Scientist self would have found a layering strategy to deal with The Skank.
  17. Now there's a custom rank...Wears Jouir de...and likes it!
  18. So what...am I the only one who's going to be wearing this? I mean, not outside, of course...but inside with the naughty thoughts and the porn and the glomping of Master Quince?
  19. Geena, if you haven't already tried it, your TG may enjoy Sexology if he responds primarily to EST (as my Q does), it's more sexual but still has the deep intimacy factor.
  20. The butter does not like me, again. I love butter in oh so many ways... I DON'T UNDERSTAND WHY IT IS SO MEAN TO ME! ...not always, but some dairy accords hate me with a deep buttery passion. (Mmmm, buttery passion...) I like the patchouli in this one, though, it reminds me of the patchouli in LP Pink '09. I realize they're probably not the same but my brain is saying hmm similar. Thankfully LP Autumnal Equinox '07 is wonderful on me, and hopefully '09 will be too.
  21. That reminds me, I had my co-worker smell it (not put it on, just take a whiff from the wand of the trial vial) and the look on her face was priceless! She said, "I can't even tell you what that is!" And I said, "Honey, you don't wanna know."
  22. ...and then your parents realized the error of their ways and gave you another one.

I think this is very much the rendering of the concept: it is dark and earthy but also sophisticated. It is ornate and complex. For those who love a shadowy evocative scent such as this it's perfect, and I can see the Lady in my mind when I smell it. However, I think there's something about any scent which is meant to evoke the color red which does not work on me. I can't actually wear red because my skin tone isn't right for it. And so personally this makes me feel anxious and not-quite-right. But I am not the Lady, after all, although I can see where the fun would be in pretending to be her for a while...
