  1. Yeah, my skin eats it too, so the scent doesn't last at all on me. Too bad since I find the scent very soothing.
  2. Yeah, the phero hits with Treasured Hearts seems a bit more overt to me. I seem to find phero matches with the most unlikely pheros. SS4W doesn't do much for me... LACE makes me drunk/goofy and not much else, Cougar... I've tested the most extensively and I keep trying and I have yet to see anything happen, etc. The only other pheros I think work for me are SWS and Lumina, and both are more subtle (people listen to me/respectful for SWS, socially, I seem to get along smoothly with everyone when I wear Lumina). I swear, Treasured Hearts is the first time EVER I've gotten something where I went "I KNOW that has to be the phero hit." But it doesn't seem like Treasured Hearts is designed for that! lol. So confusing! *sigh* Now I REALLY wish I picked up a 6mL spray of Treasured Hearts back in Nov because I'm curious to further road test this out, not necessarily with get happy.... Edit: oops and forgot Teddy BB makes me all mellow.
  3. Okay I took this finally for a road test today (ie out where I would encounter people). Strangely, I amped pear today.... Anyway first stop: my martial arts class. It was... enjoyable. It's my martial arts class and it's as normal, but I *think* the pheros wafted over to one (if not more) of the guys in class, and when something odd happened, we'd look at each other and chuckle. I seemed more.. confident also? Not entirely sure. Since I'm most senior in class tonight, I ended up doing the call outs. At the end of class, this guy said to me this was the best call out day I've ever done and I sounded really good and confident. Later on when we were finished gathering up our stuff, he commented on my nailpolish (!!!!!!) and now my nails looked nice. Um. What? This is a phero hit. It HAS to be. I've had my nails all nice and polished before, but this is the first time he'd EVER commented. Second stop: potluck dinner with friends (which extended to late hanging out, then late gaming session). It was again as usual, so getting together with friends is always nice and fun, very non-intimidating. Part way through the evening (as we had ALL eaten about 4x the amount we should have), me and this other guy collapsed on the floor a few feet apart, but still chatting to each other and the others in the room. Somehow, we ended up chatting to each other more, and other friends in the room commented how they should take a picture of the 2 of us and call it "pillow talk" (LOL. um..... okay?). That's about it for strange reactions at this get together, other than we all ended up having a really fun time... because we're geeks and ended up playing computer games. Edit: Why is this blend making the guys chatty/friendly to me? Is it the so called "Treasured Hearts nesting vibe"? Because when I wear stuff like LACE, or SS4W, or Cougar.... I don't get this sort of phero reaction from guys.... but here I did. With the phero that I thought would be the least likely to get attention from guys.
  4. oh boy..... this isn't sounding very good atm. I guess it is a "for ritual use" oil...
  5. Okay, I've read through boy/boy and B2 threads... is there a general guide for what the differences are between those 2 and Teddy potion BB?
  6. Ah right. Plus wasn't there another very close phero variant of this one? Funny thing is I've never tried this in a scent, just got the un phero on its own. Strangely the un version HAS it's own non-descript scent to it. very light, disappears fast.
  7. You guys, NO WAY, there's no review topic for this phero?? I went and looked and searched and couldn't find one. I am posting this in the men's section even though this is a unisex phero... I have the 6mL spray from phero-month so this is the 1x in 90% alcohol, 10% oil. I used 5 sprays on myself. Generally I think of myself as very zen and not excitable. I'm not entirely sure of the self-effects of this phero, beyond the fact that I can say my mood right now is very calm and mellow. I need to road test this phero out some more and report back on its effects in other situations.
  8. Oh yes, to comment on the scent AND Gotcha! I wore this on Saturday afternoon as a bunch of friends were getting together to watch the superbowl. I'm not really a sports fan, but I like hanging out with my friends and didn't want to be a recluse so I joined in. (And this is where I say my friends to hang out with are a bunch of boys, from about 24yrs old and up to about my age, usually about 4-5 of them - all ubernerds who sit around to play video games and board games) As usual, lol, I'm also of the ubernerd variety, not a romantic prospect (as most of them are interested only in 2D girls - NONE of them were swayed by Beyonce, they were all in the realm of "meh" reactions and/or making commentary on costumes, etc), plus I am not interested in any of them as more than friends (because I know them all too well). So the Honeyed LP plus Gotcha! Didn't have any romantic/attraction vibe for me, more like we were all friendly and joking around and my quips seemed witty.
  9. It logically doesn't make sense to my brain, but that phenomenon is real. @_@
  10. After resting a couple days from when I first got this in the mail... it's not *all* honey anymore. (why is it like that, where perfumes smell really different a few days after "resting" from being in the mail??) It's still a bit too sweetly honeyed for me though. I think I have a preference for the original LP formula w/o the extra honey.
  11. No... I haven't. I'm not that into vanilla though. (Yes I say this now... I thought I didn't like any of the LP notes either, but somehow it worked) I keep making a mental note to try Treasure of Aquamarine though.
  12. Yup! I tried it out just after ripping the box open. Even Honeyed LP isn't quite ALL honey on me today. The lightness of LP Silver also toned down though, and I liked that lightness to it... but still definitely good.
  13. It's great!! I can't believe I was so hesitant in getting any of the LP blends at first because "amber, apricot, vanilla, patchouli" didn't appeal to me at all... but they actually really work well together. I never thought these would be notes I'd want to wear. Silver's definitely nice though, I love the coolness to it. I *need* to grab more LP varieties now. lol.
  14. Okay what a difference a day makes. I'm so confused. I wore this today and..... not getting the apricot. This is now so smooth and creamy and well blended on me that I can't pick anything out. Not as "heavy" smelling on my skin today too as it did yesterday. It's almost like..... AM I WEARING THE SAME PERFUME?????
  15. I got my fb of this and it smells freaking AMAZING. It's not a perfume scent... it is indeed very spa-like. Soothing, gorgeous spa scent. I sprayed like.... 3 dozen pumps on myself and now my bedroom smells like this too (sadly my skin eats this up waaaaayyyyy fast - might just try to use it as a linen spray or something). The minty lavender and chamomile are just sooooooooooo good. I love this so much.
  16. Whoa. How do I describe this on me? honey, honey, honey, honey, honey Seriously. I'm afraid that's all I'm getting. If I put my nose right up to my skin, I sort of get the apricot, but it's faint compared to how overwhelming the honey is on me. I was hoping I'd like another perfume with Gotcha! in it... but this is a bit too much honey for me. Maybe it's weird close to TOM skin chemistry, so I'll try it again in a week or two.
  17. I finally got my hands on this. It's....an odd scent. I was afraid of this being too heavy and sweet, but it's not. It's not a light airy fragrance by any means, but not overpowering either. In the first 30-45 mins all I smell is apricot, but after that, it's becoming more balanced, and actually quite nice! It's nice and warm, a little bit sweet, but not too much. All together it just feels very smooth, and very creamy. I'm not sure if this is something I'd wear a lot, but likely something to reach for every so often.
  18. AH HA, I get a perfumey green playdoh. Damn. I was really looking forward to this one, hoping it would be fabulous because I love green-y scents (LP Winter Variant '11 YES. LOVE.), and this sounded like another variant of a green-y LP... but it's not to be. I put it on and immediately got confused thinking this can't be right. It smells like.... powdery...wait, really like playdoh. I know skin chemistry can change throughout the month, so I'll hang onto it and try it again in a week or so to see if it stops turning playdoh on me.
  19. OMG. So I was a little hesitant to get this because there are no sample vials left, and it was fb or nothing... but from everyone's descriptions it sounded amazing.... Anyway I jumped in, went fb. I JUST got my package today and I ripped into it. This is my "all LP" shipment.... so I've got all the LP's dotted up my arm. Silver is by far my FAVOURITE LP. I can tell it's an LP.. it has that familiar LP base to it, but it's BEAUTIFUL. So ethereal and "Silver" is the right word. It feels like LP with frost on it. Strangely on the original LP I smell the apricot quite prominently.... but it's not so forward in LP Silver. I can't even say waht's the predominant note in Silver. It's just a very pretty all melded together LP variant. So happy I went fb.
  20. OMG!!!! THAT explains why it seemed so familiar. When I was a kid, my family just bought (and used) Irish Spring soap, so haha, it's what I always used too when I was younger. (and no wonder I didn't specifically associate it as a men's fragrance scent! hahaha)
  21. Is this strictly a men's blend? I can see myself wearing this! I love how fresh and clean it smells. Airy, watery, but a stronger watery, not a soothing, mellow watery. I don't know if the OW phero's going to do much for me though because I seriously only need a tiny dab of this, as the scent goes on that strongly on me.
  22. Raq - I'd label it as "essential oil" or "scented oil" or something in the future... we all know it's oil-based, but the postal service tends to freak out when they hear the word "perfume"
  23. Just tried this for the first time, no comments on the phero or effects since I'm just at home by myself... but the fragrance is perfume-y fruity to me right away and after some dry time. Alright, but I don't see myself using this kind of scent too often, it's a bit too heavy handed perfume-y for me. I can see some people really enjoying this sort of scent though.
  24. Mara - what about our current orders? And since I put some pheros from the phero sale on hold... if it's better now I'll pay the $70 I owe asap so you can ship them off before the 27th? Ack, nevermind, I just saw on paypal that you had shipped my Jan/Feb order. Would it be okay if I just lumped the phero order with my next website order? If you would like I can pay for the phero bottles I put on hold first, but if you could hold them until my next order to combine shipping? Thank you!
  25. damn, but thank you for the free shipping till now!
