Maybe try Mara's Persuasion Potion (spell kit - is it still available or GGG?) rather than pheros?

Hmm. I waited a bit after getting this to let the perfume rest because I didn't want to review a travel shocked perfume. This is very pretty, light and very much spring-like to me. I think I definitely smell the hay, but it smells like being in the middle of field on a bright spring day. Kind of comforting almost. Would be beautiful to wear on a carefree weekend.

I just got my package from LPMP today. Thank you!! This order ended up being HUGE since it's a combination of 3 orders I placed and asked to hold for me - so it can be sent to my new address. I'm a little overwhelmed at the sheer number of scents to try out now! lol. Going to work my way through them in the next little while. That said, I REALLY need to stop trying to sniff everything right after "travel shock". It never ceases to amaze me how different they smell a few days after.

Considering it's Easter right now, I thought it would be perfect to wear Ishtar's Star. WOW. It's so different from what I remember. I wonder if my sample vial had "travel shock" when I tried it last time. It's much more perfume-y than last time. But absolutely beautiful. It's not a light green scent, but instead it's like heady perfumed green. Very nice.

Wow. I just tried it. It smells good. Fuzzy Wuzzy definitely tempers down the resins of LP Black, and LP Black tempers the overly-sweet vanilla of Fuzzy Wuzzy to me. I think I'm liking 2 parts FW to 1 part LP Black.

Ooh. I find Fuzzy Wuzzy too sweet and vanilla for me. I wonder if I could do a mixing of the 2.

OMG. PUMPKIN. I can't stop sniffing my arm where I've got this applied. IT SMELLS SO GOOD. I want pumpkin pie now. Mara - are you sure this scent makes *only* men slobber? Because OMG I LOVE this. I'm loving ALL the LPMP pumpkin scents. I don't know what to do. I have Garland and Lace, I love All Hallows Eve, Candle in the Wind, etc, etc. I can't possibly use all these pumpkin perfumes, but I love them all. I normally like light airy/floral/watery scents, but I love all these foody pumpkins!!!!! <3

I got a sample of this and waited a while to try it. First sniff from the vial and I did a quick "Oh no." It seemed WAY too dark and resin-y for me. I still tried it though, and TBH I can't pick out what notes are in this because these darker resin-y type scents aren't what I normally go for so I don't know what I'm smelling. I think I get a tiny bit of sweetness, but not much. On my skin it doesn't seem as scary smelling as it was in the vial, but I still don't think it's a "me" scent. I AM curious about this "LP Black effect" though so I'm sure I'll take it for a test run sometime when I'm actually going out.

So.... am I correct in assuming this one can be used for ritual purposes? I love the intent behind it (money! who can't use more?), and would totally wear it as a strongly intent driven perfume but I'm wondering if I can use some of this as a home fragrance and to dress candles, etc?

Is lumina sort of half way between Cougar and IW then? I find it good for social situations also.

OMG! I didn't know you could do, this, Thank you!!!!!! I was trying to not over-use my Lumina bottles because I thought I'd never be able to get it again. Also I heard that Lumina has a cougar vibe, this is the first I heard of it seeming like IW. Now I'm super curious what IW is like. (Cougar doesn't seem to click with me)

Hi xev - unfortunately Lumina's now been discontinued too. I snagged a couple bottles when Mara had a sale of unsold/discontinued blends of some pheros a little while ago. I also love Lumina and feel like it's one of the few that's clicked with me.

Just ordered a "build your own sampler" (LP: Gold, Bonnie, Leprechaun Luck, Pixie Dust, Emerald City, Tease w/LACE, Areion Skye, A Treasure of Aquamarine, A Bun Dance, Open Sesame) and got 2 forum freebie vials (LP: Winter Variant, Elan Vitale) (Can you tell a theme here? lol, I'm trying to get some good abundance-type blends going, I'll need it with the new home on the horizon!)

Mara sent me a sniffie of this, which I received today! Wow, it does defy description. First application it a sweet floral with some weird spice to it. On drydown.... I'd say dank and heavy on spices is a good description. Actually, very spicy, and in a weird way. Mara's "witch shop" description also fits. I'd imagine this is what a mish mash of a ton of different spices blended together would smell like. This is definitely not something I'd use as perfume. I must say though, as a correctly brewed persuasion potion, I'm still tempted to get a bottle since it's half price and useable for it's intent. (though I do think the normal spell kit persuasion potion smells much, much more pleasant)

OMG!!! THANK YOU MARA! I came home today to find a LPMP box! I was not expecting to find one because I paif for my pheros during the pheromone sale and told Mara to hang onto them till my next order - nope, she sent them! And not only sent them but I got everything in a lace bag this time, with a cute kitty valentines' card and some sample sniffies - one of which I was super curious about! Wow. I know I got a LPMP shipment email but I honestly thought it was in error since I didn't think anything was supposed to be shipped to me!

Just trying to get things straight in my head... which phero blends DO have cops in it?? Lots of cops: LAM BAM Blatant invitation Bang! Sexpionage Sexology Cuddle Bunny Some cops: La Femme Noir Light cops: lumina cougar Gotcha! Anything else to add to the list?

I'm 35 here, and thought I'm exactly where the Stone Cougar phero should have some benefit to me, lol... but I'm another one who hasn't ever noticed much with it on. I keep trying and trying with varying amounts, but I honestly don't notice anything when I wear Cougar. (SS4W doesn't seem to do much either? I've only noticed subtle effects with Gotcha!, Lace and Lumina, and a not subtle effect with Treasured Hearts and SWS.)

Well TOM is over and I wanted to give this another chance of working on me... nope. Still get a powdery play doh scent.

You know that "travel shock" that perfumes have? I think it made mine "colder" feeling... it's warmed up a lot since sitting in my drawer. Still very pretty but I kind of miss that biting cold scent it had when it first arrived.
