Like hot coco and coffee? That doesn't sound quite right together, yet I like cappuccino with caramel so chocolate done right might taste good...I mean, it IS chocolate after all! I don't read chocolate coffee at all from this scent. I wonder what's up with the people who did?
  2. I have worn this the last 2 days (re-testing it in a work environment) and I need to say that there was a time I just under-rated it. I set it aside SOLEY for the red tide but now that I know how stupendous the selfies are I have to look back and wonder what I was thinking by not utilizing it more often? I mean, seriously? When there's a blend that makes you laugh off something that PMS could potentially turn into a homicide scene, that makes it invaluable - right? Maybe I had it in my head that THAT particular use was all I would reserve it for? What was I thinking? This is one of the few blends that I get noticeable selfies...though admittedly they are somewhat covert. I'm usually happy...except some mornings. I should really have coffee first before you talk to me - I don't do much past yes or no type questions until I've had my morning brew on some days ...I'm much more negotiable wearing this. Stupid example: DISHES. I clean while I cook. Always have - for the 12 + years Hubs and I have been together. The other day, a high tide day mind you at that, I'm cooking. I've got the sink cleared so I can work. That human male that I share the house with decides to come into the kitchen and pitter about. Rather than set things on the counter and leave the sink open, he'd place something smack in the way so that when I went to the sink with a hot pot or pan in hand, I'd have to take it BACK to the oven and set it down and then go back to the sink free handed to move his item out of the way first. Repeat 3 times! Normally I would want t wring his inconsiderate neck (thank you very much!) but INSTEAD, I began to laugh and asked him to please come (yes, please even...) where I could speak with him and (for the gazzilianth time in all these years we've been together) explained how irritating it was to have to do that because he wasn't setting those items to the side until I was finished - all with a smile and no desire to call 911 and the coroner to collect the body. He responded well, and although I know it was only good until "the next time" I was quite content with that. THIS is a potent blend. I rest my case. I'm not sure I care how it effects others But I have been wearing it to work this week so I can gage better how to use it more often around others and how it will benefit. So far I've noticed a calming and easing of the spirit. Relaxing of tensions (believe me, we are going through some ROUGH times at work right now) and a lending to people's ability to step back and just breath and even laugh. How invaluable will this be?! Going to wear this again today to keep testing...

    Orangzipan

Help! I did NOT need to love this. I'm on the fence though in spite of that. This was a real surprise win for me but I got FBs for half the collection already Do I reeeeally NEED a FB of this? But then has it ever really been about need?

Wore this yesterday and people love it. I wonder what it is about this (someone said the same thing about Orangzipan) that remind people of coffee? One person asked what smelled like coffee and another thought they smelled mocha. (I thought mocha was chocolate of some sort?) They both meant it as in - YUM! What smells like coffee!?" Another one was brown sugar, maple oatmeal When someone pointed out that "the aroma" was me, 1 fella just took hold of my arm and snoffled my hand happily It's ok, we're buds, but it was still hilarious to the group. Hmm, now that I think of it, someone in that group mentioned coffee as well. I DO NOT get coffee from this or Orangzipan...maybe it's just that vanilla, maple and sugar remind people of breakfast coffee or something? I don't care. I love this. Other people love it too. Squeeeeee!
  5. Definitely going to have to revisit those again now... D'oh! Edited to add: *rustle rustle*
  6. Hmm. When I was thinking colors, I was thinking like mind/body/spirit, mood and emotion. Never even entered my mind to have anything to do with star signs...more like the chakra and the psyche. When you mentioned the "A Treasure of" theme it was so far of left field from what I was thinking I didn't catch the relation at first
  7. Aaah! Didn't even think outside of gemology for those. Mainly in relation more to the zodiac and birth stones than to just color. Thanks ladies!
  8. LOL! At some point I noticed I've become "tricksy hobbit". And that's been since trying to remind myself to check the title when I login!

LOL! Well...S&V has a "woods" note and RM & DD have sandalwood so I'm going to go with maybe the sandalwood? At least he meant it nicely
  10. I wore this one today too. It makes my think of bright, shining spring honey and bee pollen...actually, I kept thinking "bee pollen" all day today every time I got a whiff. It made be think of the bumbles and honeybees in the yard and how wonderful bees wax and raw honey smell What a wonderful scent memory on such a cold, dreary, winter day
  11. Yup! Agreed! I had used LP Pink a couple times but Pure Sugar has become my staple I've had good fortune layering the perfume oils down first and then the un spray over them. Until I started scenting my un sprays, that was how I always wore them. The way the sprays lifted the perfume up and out I imagine it would work in reverse with the perfume spray lifting the pheromones in the oil up and out too

I get home last night and hubby hugs my and announces, "Trees!" Now he's smiling, so I know it's not intended as a bad thing but as hugs me he says again, "Trees! You smelled like trees when you left and you still smell like trees when you come home " Can I just say - "UG!"
  13. QG you are't alone! I saw the first movie - but late - (according to my husband it is a crime for all the movies I have not seen and should have!) - they had it on TV because they always have on the originals when remakes come out so I had never seen it until then...but I thought the original WW was a wonderful character! When I saw the JD version I remember thinking it was quite dark...which isn't really a surprise - but the MM interpretation explains A LOT! Oh - and.... *rustle rustle*
  14. Well...I guess I may have to give this another shot around hubby then...especially after THAT!

FINALLY wearing this one today! This is wearing much like OCCO Black on me except it actually seems a bit less sweet and the patchouli doesn't seem quite as intense. When I get home I will have to put on some OCCO Black to try to figure out the nuances between the 2. This has awesome throw AND I didn't need much to be envolpoed in the deliciousness either! I've already had it on for 8 hours and it's as if a just put it on! I'm REEEEEALLY liking this...
  16. All my LFM is in oil - un & perfumed. This would be a great spray though and it's always been easier for me, personally, to find my "sweet spot" with sprays. But every spray I've ever gotten in un, I've always wound up lightly scenting because I'm always using it on my clothes or in my hair (I love Pure Sugar for that - it's so light and easy to layer with any other scent...all it takes is 1 trial vial to lightly scent a whole 1oz bottle)
  17. The only time I paired the 2 was to get a smidge of cops from the CB. I used 1 circle of CB around my belly button but used lace on my wrists, neck & collarbone. It didn't seem to be too much Est, but to Egger's point I didn't use very much CB. I have used CB & Topper...and Lace & Topper and liked both of those very much
  18. What a great review! I really like this perfume and LFM is awesome! Love your hubby's reactions This certainly sounds like a winner

    Cherry Divinity

OHMYGOSH!!!LOOOOVE!!!YES! I was thinking of BANG! for this too! This one was such a surprise for me and now I can't for the life of me imagine why I thought that way... Well, that's not true. I think I can pin point it now.... I think it was actually an association to a chocolate covered cherry treat that my mom likes. It's horrible It's not the gooey liquor filled kind this brings to mind. The kind my mom goes nuts for is filled with a milky, thick, white, sickeningly sweet paste like substance and the chocolate cover is dark and waxy. The whole thing just makes me cringe. THIS is NOTHING like that! This one just sent me over the moon...like Moon Sugar Candy did
  20. It's taken me over a year to finally get to this one and, as a perfume, I'm not sure I would have appreciated it the same back then when my nose was just beginning to learn what these hand crafted artisan treasures are, Now, I'm VERY happy to see this one is permanent because it's going to be a favorite
  21. I have ordered my sprays Un and wound up lightly scenting them myself with Pure Sugar because of that reason. I sometimes spray my hair or clothes and want a little something to cover the mone smell. I believe it may have been Raq On who gave me the idea, but a trial vial nicely scents a whole 1oz spray lightly...it's been perfect every time
  22. This is a staple, so I would use whatever I boosted it with often, lol. But I have it unscented exactly because of that too. I like the versatility of using it with whatever I want...
  23. Wow! OK. So. This is amazing, just as I feared....This is wearing on me very soft and powdery light. It is so feminine and delicate...refined comes to mind. Just barely floral. I must like white amber & musk. I'm not reading the patchouli at all. This is just gorgeous...damnit. >.< This isn't heavy at all but it's SO pretty! I can see why Irish Eyes claimed it for a sig scent!lol
