Then it's looking them up on the site...then looking them up in the review threads,,,where people mention other nommy sounding delights...which I in turn look up...the next thing I know...THE NEW LIST IS FORMING... It's the sniffies...they start it...

Holy COW! I JUST made an order and I already have a wish list...GADS! OCCO Blue and Gold. I just tried a sniffie called Sogni Incantati and WOW! YUM! I'm going to have to score a fb of that. If Sweet Chic survives long enough, I want to get that in a spray. I'm eying Empathy Potion but not sure that I have to have it...like it's ever about needs vs wants Heart & Soul, Hunter Trapper (for hubby) and maaaybe, Cougar Potion in spray...cuz it's SO absolutely fantastic! Jeeze...and that doesn't even include NRs...It's absolutely undeniable....I'm hopeless

Got this in a sniffie and - OHMYWOW! This is really heady and rich and sweet and smooth and... What a surprise. In the vial I was all "meh" but this one is FABULOUS! I could totally be happy with a FB of this

I followed Luna's example and went to some local craft stores. One is called A C Moore and the other is called Michael's. 1 is just deep enough for the 1/3 oz bottles and is about 12 x 8 and closes magnetically. The 2nd one I got is a treasure chest type in that it has a latch top and matches the 1st. The most recent one I got is deep enough for all my sprays...and all my 5ml spray creations, lol. I will take pics and post in Skye's Hoarders LPMP Edition thread once I get them organized, lol....just promise you won't judge me

REALLY?! My chemistry pushes the tea and floral notes forward. I don't know for certain what candytuft smells like and I don't really get rose at all...but tea, beautiful light sheer tea, lightly sweetened with sugar and honey with flower petals floating on top.... Yes! That's a great description! At least my chemistry agrees

I think he means the fragrance in general was an enjoyable surprise that works with his chemistry, not so much that he'd go traipsing about in BI, lol!

YAY! I ordered the sampler set along with fbs of the ones I was absolutely sure of....but I couldn't resist at least trying them all, lol. Thanks ladies! Yes! It was! I went with BBM and LL + Perfect Match and Open Windows for work and WHAT A SLAM DUNK COMBO. It was like this = FROM EVERYBODY! I got complimented on how I looked, my shoes, how GOOD I smelled - hehehe....And I DID smell delicious What a great idea! Thank you!

And it has great staying power too...lasts all day...like 10+ hours...I can still huff my arm and get something definitely YUM!

I know PP is already a winner for you DD, I can't see how a FB of this could ever do you wrong. If it survives long enough for my next order, I'm thinking I will get it in a spray. This is really a sweet smell that everyone seems to enjoy...including myself! WIN/WIN right?

Sea Lily was going out on a limb for me...something new to try...and it's a real winner! While it's true that I love my foodie scents, the wonderful potions here at LP have completly changed my views on what perfume can be and, since these artisan blends are such a far cry from the chemically/commercially perfumes I've always been exposed to, I'm not afraid to try something from here that I'm not quite sure about. Sea Lily is one of those. It read well and sounded like a winner, but not something I would typically choose. It wound up being an experience. The whole idea that the smell of sea water and ocean memories I have from the shore can be bottled???!...my hubby and I always joke about how if we could bottle this or that we'd be rich...Mara has figured that part out for sure!

I have been a bad girl. I have this and it's still sitting in the bottle...lonely. I have not had the gumption to wear it and was thinking of making it into a spray for hubby but I will have to take the plunge and just put it on. The way you all are making it sound is just too good. In the bottle it is a not me scent...but I've thought that about other LPs and been both right and very wrong... This one just seemed more masculine but I DO adore the idea of green, outdoors & water...grew up on all that and would love a scent that would allow me to revisit those fond memories. Since so many of you are saying what a clean scent it seems to be, I will wear it after my shower tonight and see how things develop....thanks for the nudge all! ------------------------------------------------------------------ Update! Ok...so pulled up my britches and donned Ilori last evening before heading home from work. In the bottle - it's not girly that's for sure....but not at manly as I remembered. When I first applied I got GREEN and water...very GREEN and a hint of something?....like dirt. I don't mean dirt in a bad way, I'm a gardener, lol. I guess what some are referring to as earth? Rich and healthy and full of life. THAT was a huge surprise but it was kind of hiding behind the GREEN. After it settled down it was actually a very nice clean neutral scent. One that would be nice after a shower. And now, 12 hours later it's this clean green scent (not quite like grass....I can't even think of another way to describe it other than green) with a hint of muskiness on my skin. I'm SO embarrassed. This is the only one in the set that I had crinkled my nose to and set aside and here it's completely surprised me. It evokes memories of a glorious time in my childhood when we had rented a home on farm property (we moved often when I was growing up so I had quite a diverse childhood). The whole picturesque barn and giant weeping willow at the end of the lane that served for a driveway and huge reaching oaks on the front lawn with the creek flowing through the property...memories of all the times I spent chasing minnows and lying under the shade of the trees in the tall green grass - smelling the grass and the earth and the leaves....Yeah. It's like that...cried a little....good stuff here, Mara, good stuff...

It was a first, that's for sure...I've been complimented...given the sexy eyes while being complimented and I've been gushed over and even cringed at (by my friend who loathes patchouli, lol) but this is notably my first experience with men (and plural even!) cooing over my delicious LP scent....Did I mention LP ROCKS!
