The perfumes are completed, but the bottling and labelling continues, as well as the programming of all of the web pages we have to create and update each month. (I think I counted 90 pages last month. Argh!) There's also the designing of the labels and the printing of the labels and additional inserts and stickers, which is not yet complete. Soon though! Liz, we're talking about the 'single note' concentrated pheros sold on their own. Please don't confuse this with phero blends or our phero enhanced perfumes.

No, it's 100mcg per spray, at (approx) $150.00 per ounce. Fifty percent more expensive.

We're going to work our way thru them all. Experienced Phero Gurus/Enthusiasts Ail and Dolly have agreed to beta test them and report their findings - and we also plan to test with male and female testers in our area - we always send people out with our potions on their skin anyway, to test reactions. It will be more of the same, with more intense questioning most likely.

Yes it is. Do you want a bottle? I have not ordered that one from Stone yet - but the Est is supposed to be here by Tuesday. Beta-nol, by the way, is EXPENSIVE. It's another 50% higher than Est! Which means, we'd have to sell it for around $150 per ounce. Is this something you guys would still want? Also, had a lovely conversation with Dr. Stone today, and asked how many of his unreleased phero blends we were going to have access to, and he said around 30. THIRTY! WOW!

Dolly, what do you think about sorcerersviolet trying unscented Cuddle Bunny for what she is trying to convey? Sorcerersviolet, you describe yourself as somewhat alpha, so perhaps something like Cuddle Bunny, which brings out nurturing, protective, snuggly feelings out of men - might soften and balance the vibe you are putting forth? What do you think, Dolly?

I got exactly the same impression. It smells like yummy fruity gum. Here's my theory on why it might work: You know when people try to quit smoking and they tell you to keep a toothbrush in your mouth all day, so that you don't want to ruin the freshness of your mouth by smoking? I think it's psychologically the same kind of thing. It smells like gum, and if you're chewing gum, you're not eating. It keeps your mind diverted from thoughts of eating due to the sense memory of the scent. ??? Maybe?

Let me know how it is on your skin. I did actually craft it bold, wide and strong on purpose. I wanted it to create a cloud of scent and really live up to its name - in a good way. It contains 6 types of Lillies and 3 other poisonous flowers, musk, woods and resins.

Hmm. The second order was shipped the day after the first order, but at least you can see it made it to the other coast, so hopefully you will have it in hand by tomorrow. LOL! That's awesome! I had to heat the bottles a little just to get the lids off. Do you have to do that with yours? What do you do with it?

Isn't it amazing? I collected four different aged patchoulis, ranging from 20 to 40 years old. It really has a distinction quite unlike the new. A couple of them were nearly solid, the resins so tar thick.

I used pure Lavender essential oil in this, actually three different sources of it to round out the note. And there's quite a bit of it in there. Normally I do not care for the camphorousness of lavender EO, but for some reason, it works perfectly with this combo, just making it seem very brisk and fresh. The other differences from Super, other than the lack of pheromones, is that I did not add any brown sugar to this mix - wanting it less sweet and more fresh. There is also a greater percentage of pipe tobacco in this blend than in the other, and less maple as well. When I A/B them, I find Super seems more sweet and modern, and UN is really evocative of the scent coming out of the old barber shops I remember in Jersey City from when I was a kid.

LOL! Actually, I used Sage in there, but the effect is similar.

I've asked Stone Labs (makers of EoW) about getting this, just awaiting a price list. We'll be getting a bunch of new items from them in the near future.

That's the pheromones you are smelling. Some people are more sensitive to them than others...we have different sniffer receptors and perceive the smell of them differently. I must admit, there's a really really strong dose of pheros in the SUPER blends. I'm sorry it didn't work for you!

When we got take out, I would give a fortune cookie to each of the cats. One time my cat Waffles got one that said, "The road to Hell is paved with good intentions." I know exactly what you mean, Luna. It's weird, but we have fans going all the time in the studio, and sometimes a particular scent will catch on the breeze and waft my way, and every once in a while it's this one, and every time, it makes me stop what I'm doing and either turn my head in that direction, or actually get up and walk in that direction. It's an absolute magnet for me. Aside from the pheros though, there's something in the smell. As you know, I brewed up a variant called UN for men, without the pheros, and this too has a similar effect on me. I've got it slathered all over my pillow. mmmmmmm.
