  1. This custom that I had done is fantastic! The grapefruit is of the pink variety and is juicy sweet when wet. It dries to a yummy more subtle grapefruit, fresh and not the typical cloying version of grapefruit. More like a dry citrus. It is blended with a slightly woodier cinnamon that is dry, but not crisp. It is more of an aged cinnamon. The sugar is also pink. For those pink scent lovers, this is a wonderfully warm pink scent. This is a bright pink pick-me-up, yet warm and comforting all wrapped into one. I asked for a fresh cut grapefruit sprinkled with cinnamon and a pink sugar to complete the morning breakfast dish. This was the perfect blend. Well done ladies!
  2. There are some reviews here and I have a review in my Mass Review I just realized that my review isn't very helpful. Dreams of Avalon is one of my absolute favorites. It is a wonderful green floral. Very complex and beautiful.
  3. I like this one. I am wearing it today paired with sugared amber to give it a more golden feel. It is spicy and floral at the same time.
  4. I had some leakage. I am not sure how full the moon bottles were, so I am not sure how much leakage I had. If you hold the bottle up to the light, the oil line comes to the top of the second star from the top of the bottle. Enough that my entire tissue paper was covered (it's almost clear). As for my review: This smells fantastic. The tissue paper is sitting on my TV and is scenting my entire downstairs. It is deep and timeless. Beautiful. It is a complex blend that mixes perfectly. It is hard to pick out any single note when describing it. Anything that I say will not even come close to doing it justice.
  5. I read all of the posts on EOW before I purchased my first bottle. I had purchase another phero and thought I was prepared. I am a smeller. I smell everything. I even smell my food before I eat it. I have a very sensitive sense of smell. So, my bottle of EOW arrives and I crack it open. My first response (almost an unconscious response for me) is to put it to my nose and take a big whiff. I thought I was going to puke. I started gagging and coughing all over the place. I smelled EOW for the next 20 minutes every where I went. It was horrible! So, I can totally relate to your experience. . I am pretty picky about what I will wear it under or blend it with, because if I can smell it I can't stand it. I'll usually wear it on my arms and a touch back of my neck. Then I'll put a straight (un phero) version of my cover scent on my neckline and chest to help keep me from sniffing the cops.
  6. My hubby really liked this one. I asked him what he thought and he said it was "OK", yet he kept leaning in for random sniffs. Trying to be sneaky (like trying to lean over me to get something instead of asking me to hand it to him), but not really succeeding.

    Hi

Welcome Isa. Welcome to the house of addicts. Junkies fit right in. learn from the pros. . Those are some good favs. Yummy. In case you haven't found it, the Reviews forum contains in-depth reviews of all of the individual scents. Those that are phero blends are actually in the pheromone FAQ forum (subforum of LPMP pheromone blend potion reviews). In the regular review forum, I have created a thread called "Mass Review" it is all of my reviews in one handy dandy thread. Just my skin chemistry, but it will give you an idea of which ones you want to go read the more in-depth reviews of. As you look at the ones you know you like, you'll see how our chemistry differs and be able to get a better read on how to interpret my reviews for your skin. Again, welcome to the house of addicts.
  8. The watermelon came out the strongest on me when wet. As much as I loved this in the bottle, the combo smelled strangely odd on my skin. Not horrible wash it off kind of odd, more like a "what is that strange scent" kind of odd. Intruiging, but not alluring. I am not sure what combo it is that is doing it. Very sad, I loved it in the bottle.
  9. This was very much like Mermaids of Alantis on me when I first applied. After it dried, it became more of a floral with a strong EOW scent. It fades too fast on me, and EOW is not a scent that I want to be left with after an hour. . I am sure this is just my skin, so don't shy away from trying this one. It smelled fantastic until it faded away.
  10. Very foody, for those that like that. Chocolate is the most dominate note on me. Not a cocoa butter chocolate, but dripping milk chocolate. The almond and vanilla are right there in the background. The chocolate is so amped on me that I can't smell the berries or violets in this. Oh wait... There they are. It takes about five to ten minutes, but give this one the time to bloom. Wonderful job.
  11. Sunny and floral. Those that like Sun Catcher will really like this one. The daffodil was the strongest note on me throughout the different phases. Bright, floral and slightly green. The Frank & Myrrh add a nice depth to the scent, helping with the staying power. The bamboo gives it a gentle green watery note that helps to temper the strong florals. Give this one a minute to die down. The florals were a touch strong when I first applied, but it takes a minute for the bamboo, frank and myrrh to pop in and pull the the florals back down a notch.
  12. If you wear EOW, it will increase his testosterone. If you are looking for one for him to wear, try Wanted Man... Here is the description: Phero Boy: Dominance would also be a good choice if you are looking for something scented.
  13. Lor - you are in my thoughts. I know what being thrust into the job market is like... This is bright. The grapefruit is the strongest note on me when wet. The patchouli then comes in and deepens the scent. As it dries, much of that "twang" that is typical of a bright grapefruit note goes away. I think it is the patchouli tempering it. The honey sweetens it up nicely. Those that like Cougar Scented will probably like this one.
  14. The strawberry in this one is a candy-type strawberry, not a fresh juicy one. The strawberry is the dominate note on my, as it seems to be on others as well. The coconut is subtle and the other fruits are nicely blended and waft in and out. Very fruity. I am not really a fruity person, so this one is not one that I will keep around. However, for those that love fruity scents this is a good one.
  15. I don't know if it is the Wisteria or the Magnolia, but one of them turns on my skin. It is all I can smell. That and the strong waxy undertone from the honey. Damn my skin!
  16. This one is very interesting. The lemon is not as bright as I thought it would be. It is more like a whipped lemon topping type scent. It is very fruity and dirty at the same time. The musk lends a nice dirty undertone to it. Definitely not your normal fruity scents. I am typically not a fruity scent kind of gal, but I do like this one.
  17. Hmmm... No reviews yet? Watch out, this one might be selling out fast. Those who have their samples might be holding back on the reviews until they stock up (I have already ordered my bottle)... I believe that Mara already told us that this one has a lower inventory that normal to start with... This one is very similar to Dracula's Bakery. This has ginger in it, where the other does not. The cinnamon and allspice are also not as predominate in this one. The ginger really mellows this out. Sweet and edible without being too foody. I really like it. The spices are more creamy in this one. Delicately blended with the pumpkin and pureed together. Very nicely done!
  18. My husband really likes these ones: Elementary NorthShore Excalibur Un To Soothe A Broken Heart (not actually men's, but smells great on him) Teddy Man
  19. *jealously reads posts of new releases* I have a package at post office that I will pick up tomorrow morning - perhaps it is my precious LP monthly sampler pack!
  20. Nope. Not for me. All I get is cloyingly sweet fruit. I smell like a fruit salad specializing in ripe red apples.
  21. Starts out fresh and lemony. Definitely the lemon grass and lemon verbena up front. Next, I can feel the white sugar coming up. A slightly powdery feel. I think that the water lily and orchid are peeking through. Of course, my favorite note of all time (bamboo) is perfectly melded in the center. It has a strong grip on all of the ingredients and has intertwined with each of them. I like this much more than I thought I would. This is definately the Mrs. Harker kind of scent. Innocently appealing. I don't get any edible notes at all.
  22. This is deeper than I expected. I little dark, yet light and airy. Like having the windows open on a hot summer night. The fruits and florals mesh nicely. I like it. Not a bottle grabber for me, but definitely nicely done.
  23. Just dropping a note with my recent order... -LAM: Pink Amber -LAM: Spicy Brown Sugar -BAM: Sandalwood & Resins -Christine's Tropical Musk -Christine's Tropical Musk in a Shea Butter body cream and something else that I just can't quite recall...
  24. Something in here twangs at my nose. I don't think that is a real sentence, but twangs at my nose is the best description that I can come up with. It goes very wrong on my skin instantly. Not good, ladies, not good. It went wrong so fast, I can't even tell you what note it was. So sad, because, being a Southern gal myself, I was looking forward to this one. Jo Anna - remember what Heart of Kapet did on me? This is way worse. Big frowny face.
