It will not happen anytime soon, I can promise you that, LOL. I'm already "at budget" for June and haven't factored in my June NR LP Variants. And we are still in June single digits (the 5th!) I keep thinking of the phrase "So many men; so little time" but it's "So many LPs; so little cash reserve..." I keep telling myself, it's ok... I'll be broke, happy and smellin' fine!"

I will add that TH was one of my first phero purchases, based on the recommendations from forum members. It was spot on in helping me deal with in-laws and, more specifically, a 'bristley' MIL. Later, as I was looking to add to my phero collection, I remember specifically asking the forums if H&S and TH were very similar in design and EFX because I didn't want to double-up, so to speak, on "that kind" of phero when I was 1. still experimenting and wanted different stuff to try and 2. trying to budget my rapidly expanding LP collection. Several members commented that H&S was very different than Treasured Hearts.... convincingly enough that I went ahead and purchased H&S in my next LP order. I am far too new to speak to the pheromone design of each, but I can comment on the EFX I've had using them. This probably won't make any sense but I'll say it anyway... Treasured Hearts for me was great for "getting along" and lightheartedness among friends and family, but it kept everything at arm's length - a safe distance. It seems to have no effect on my sons, SO, Mom or closest friends. Heart & Souls however does. It's like the "circle of trust" effect (yes I am quoting the cheesy comedy "Meet the Parents") The 'relating' took a more genuine, trusting turn than with TH, but I think the effects had everything to do with the level the relationship was already at, pre-phero. For instance, I don't think wearing H&S around a group of friends suddenly sucked them in to be BFFs. For me, Treasured Hearts is the sorority phero, while Heart & Souls is reserved for my closest pals. Am I making any sense?

Sometimes I could use some "backbone" and I was secretly hoping the answer might be in one of the men's phero blends. I suppose the term "backbone" infers masculity, no? (JK!) I did get on my soapbox for awhile today with 2 of the 3 menfolk in my HH, after being asked,"Why are you being such a bitch?". Which begs the question...why is it when men get angry or fervent they are just "being aggressive" or "manly" but when I do it I'm either being a bitch or psycho... or a combo thereof ?**** I will approach with caution as per Mara's and your instructions. I guess the good news for me is the Steamy Daydreams is JUST Steamy Daydreams so I could slather with reckless abandon. ETA: ****Wait! I forgot! I'm glad you mentioned the latter (Ares, Bad Boy, Down & Dirty for Him, Mark's Girl Nip, Sudden Impact, Teacher's Pet, Unseelie) since the Archive lists everything. It's helpful to see the notes to find similar stuff. I think SI's finale was just on AF after I started my LP ride... I thought about it but I was more in the "me" stage of purchasing. Now I know... Snooze ya lose. I am curious though... If I wear a man's fragrance with an added (typically) male phero (like SI w/ WM) what should I expect EFX-wise, if anything?

H&S has Est listed first, and TH has that 5a-androstenol listed first, neither of which are a common denominator in the others (H&S, TH, TC)... Wouldn't that make them very different? I'm confused. Halo??? Or is 5a just another form of a-nol? Est is the weepy factor I think - I remember asking Halo specifically about that one. That's the day I happy cried over the $1 off on Kitty Litter at WalMart.

I've only branched out a little. I absolutely LOVE River Song and Ilori. I find myself actually looking for Le Wizard's creations. I got LP #9 simply because curiosity got the best of me! It reminds me of the 90s and CK1, LOL. I don't wear it very often. I'm trying to convince my 15-year-old that it's "cool" (or swag or beast - whatever is the term of the day) I think it's perfect for a teen. I got a sample of NorthShore last month too. I know it's a guy's scent but I really like it!

Luna what are some of the other men's fragrances that you like? I'd like to check them out in reviews. I've always been more of a men's fragrance type gal- greens, herbals (Well actually I guess that classifies as green, LOL) woods, citrus, spices, watery, etc more than floral. However I have discovered - thanks to LP - that I'm kind of a foodie chick now as well.

I actually love the ones I got for HB initially... Super4M, Dirty Old Man, Ilori, steamy daydreams.And back in the days before LP I was always attracted to guy fragrances, so my loving SD makes definite sense. Was Teddy BB in The Big Easy? I overused that little spray one night & had some wild crazy dreams!

When I first joined LP and was looking for a man scent to try and get my HB off Polo Green, I did a 'newbie' post asking around. Lots of things came up of course, but one comment from you (Eggers) cracked me up but has always stuck with me. I haven't been able to get my HB to even try pheros. The only way he would is if I guarantee he would get more - you know - and I refused to do that. In the name of science, of course. Hey, it skews the reaction and compromises the integrity of the whole study!!

I ordered this UN after reading Halo's posts on it... I havent' even gotten LFM yet (although I know it's good too - I just am pacing my UN aquisition: SWS, OW, BB, TH, H&S, MLH, Topper, Leather,Aja, Sheer Essence and there are SO many more left!) I was a little worried because lately I've been in Cop Burnout having gotten a ton of scents with cops added. But, not to worry, this is an awesome phero! I don't necessarily feel overtly sexy, but I DO feel in charge. Kind of like MLH with a dot of Leather and LAM (which if really mixed would probably be a bad idea - I'm only comparing it based on the EFX I've had with those separately). I'm focused and getting stuff done. Hard to describe the actual selfie; I got an energy boost but it came on more like a V8 engine in a muscle car - deep, powerful, rumbling and there if I need it. As opposed to an explosion of nervous energy that disappears as fast as it comes on. Now, I did add a little of the bottle of Unbridled (also has LFN) on top of my UN LFN after about an hour (I wanted to test the UN first). I LOVE that scent (you can check my review for it in the threads) and it was a totally un-planned purchase (I stumbled upon a sample - never EVER would have gone for it otherwise). I'm nearly 3 hours after the initial application and still feeling good (as all the menfolk arrive home) I'm still on a roll with MY projects and not tired! When my boys came to me and said "Mom, what's for dinner" I said "Cereal... I'm in the middle of something right now so it's every man for himself." Woo-hoo GO BITCHES GO.

Halo thanks for the heads up! I just got my LP box with LFN, BB UNs... as I said, I've been thinking about the singles... and I will check this out too. However, I'm certain this month's NR will bump a few things into my July or August budget. (HA! Who has a budget anymore!? I feel like I'm in deficit spending mode... constantly)

Wow. I am on the other end of the spectrum. I find there's so much to love here (and if you can't find a 'love' all you have to do is wait another month!) that I worry I risk missing out on something wonderful if I blow my budget on one particular scent. That and guilt (yes, I can very often be that empathetic enabler type) CIP, I had 2 bottles of something and genuinely felt bad after I read a disappointed post by a long-time member who really wanted a FB of that same scent but it was already gone. I love LP not only for the incredible products but for the community here that I've become quite fond of! And (this will not surprise you long-termers) I've discovered that my tastes actually change! (thank you trade forum!) I no longer want that "signature scent" that I thought I wanted when I started here at LP. Just to be clear, I realize my example is extreme, and I'm not passing judgement! I know everyone at some point gets a few bottles of their obsessions and I get that. I guess it all balances out depending on our personalities and scent preferences. I would hope that no one would ever deliberately buy out a popular scent to later sell it to those desperate to have it. I think that modus operandi is reserved for concert tickets ETA: And I totally agree with Luna's Super Custom suggestion... in fact, is that the same as the Custom Blended Perfumes link in the Reading Room section of the Website? If you know you love something and want it to be yours that totally seems like the way to go plus there are some really cool product options!
