Well, yeah guys can be weird. Their minds work differently from ours (not weird, but it makes it hard for us to read them until we know them very well). As a generalization, men tend to compartmentalize, and work on one thing in their mental “box” before moving on to the next thing. My best guess is he was distracted by work, and think it’s great that he wanted to get together in only a couple of weeks time. Either phero would be okay, but remember that Mara created Gotcha as an unscented pheromone version of her original Love Potion perfume. I don’t see a downside to using it, but I’m no expert on pheromones. Hopefully others will weigh in.

@RosesArePink I hope your meetings go well I do think you might want to set some sort of timeline for yourself as far as how long you want to focus on this guy. You mentioned you mostly end up with a broken heart when it’s all said and done. One way (rather than steeling yourself for a let down) is to set that timeline and stick to it. Move on if he does not make any real move toward knowing you better, rather than letting things drag on until you’re hurt. Yes, I think you had a positive interaction with him. But also yes, I think if his comments had moved into “definitely significant” territory, he would have made sure you had a number you could reach him on outside of work. There’s little doubt he likes you. That’s a given. But there’s like, and there’s Like. I’m not saying you are wrong to be encouraged, I’m just saying don’t allow this guy to have an open ended invitation to your heart. It’s one thing to work hard to save an established relationship. But, establishing the relationship itself shouldn’t take a huge effort on either person’s part. Life is weird, we can expend so much effort trying to get what we think we want, meanwhile a person who we would find interesting, and be attracted to gets overlooked.

@Vika I’m glad to hear it. I like it in spray, I have one just spray, and of course the one I just got boosted with phero. I have perfumer’s alcohol, but it’s so convenient having it arrive ready to go helps me justify the extra expense.

My order of the rebrew for Beewitched came this week. I love it too! @Vikasaid the new one was a little more powdery for her, but I didn’t notice this. On the other hand, I’ve only used the spray which is boosted with C4W, so that likely affects it a bit anyway. I got a rollerball too, but didn’t crack the seal. No opportunity to test out how my boosted version affects others, as I’ve not been out in the public wearing it yet.

@Eastwood22 that was a fun collection. I was surprised there were any of the variations left over for the sale.

@dolphindolls2 so many from this release sold out in no time! I kept toying with getting Lantern during the sale, (BI is a favorite of mine) but I was focused on Beewitched, and I’m glad I did it that way, except now I can’t go back and grab Lantern. I almost ordered some trials with my last order. The LP site allowed me add 2 vials to the cart, after the fb were sold out, so theoretically they were in stock still. I ultimately took them back out though. This was last week, at this point maybe even the trials are gone. I’m still working my way through the sampler.

@Eastwood22 that is a very positive way of looking at it. That’s why just reading the notes is only part of the story. I loved Wild Cherry, but Special Delivery did not work for me at all, even though they shared some of the same nuances.

@hedgehog Shampoo commercial 😀. Perfect! That’s what PP/C4W should have on its label! I know some of us have found Cougar to have a sexier vibe, and maybe it does. I just know that PP was “my” phero. I’m assuming C4W will be the same. Another social/sexy phero that comes to mind for this as a spray is LFM or Lumina, I considered it, but have a full bottle of LFN, and about half of a Lumina one. My order has shipped, yay!

Bumping this thread up: I think if I were going to add a phero to Sweet Leaf, it would be a calming social type.

I’m not getting senile (promise). I just didn’t read up thread and catch what I wrote previously. Talk about repeating yourself! But yes to clarify, I LIKE this maple. I don’t like maple with autumnal spices apparently. I wish editing was active again. I didn’t try to edit though, I wonder if it’s turned back on….😐

For me to buy more than one fb of a perfume with maple in it, is a testimony of Mara’s genius. Maple is almost always a problem, but not for this one, and, I love tobacco scents to boot. I’m another one who can’t wear Rocket Fuel (I think I passed mine one to Kayla, haha). I agree it is probably due to the lack of certain spices, or patchouli in Sweet Leaf that makes the difference. As i wore more my trial more and more, my plans to keep a full bottle sealed in order to age over time, flew out the proverbial window. The solution, of course, was to buy more. I got one as a spray as well. One day I accidentally applied on the same wrist as I was wearing Mourning Glory, and it didn’t smell bad at all. It was quite nice.

I’m so glad I got more of this during the sale! I already had a couple bottles (possibly three) but knowing that when some LPs are gone, they’re REALLY gone, I didn’t want to miss the opportunity. Reading through previous comments about whether this edition has civet or not made me wonder if maybe the honey @Potion Master used is the same that went into Beewitched. I wear, this on its own, and also layer with other perfumes. The other day, a few hours after I applied Velours Frais, I put this on top. It smelled so beautiful, and for some reason, the cat seems to really like it. He spent a lot of time sniffing my wrists, and snuggled up against me.

I took a chance on the rebrew and ordered one as spray with phero. I got it with Charisma for Women, which may not be as congruent as much as BI or LFN, but I wanted something that can be as a spray and social phero, rather than sexy. Popularity Potion has been great for me personally. Hoping the new formulation is as great. I already have roller bottles boosted with cops.

Thanks Luna. I packed light for the trip and ended up using either Levitation with cops, and on other days LFM and cops.

Can I use Levitation as a topper over a sexual pheromone blend such as BI? I used to have the pure DHEAS but ran out….

@Eastwood22 I want to know too! I did get some of original brew, but would like more if it’s close. Mara said she still had all of the ingredients….

@cheeseburger79 I thought that might be who your avatar was. Coincidentally I tried to set my much beloved dog who I lost recently as my avatar, and couldn’t get it small enough either. What I did to make this avatar the right size I don’t know. It’s disconcerting seeing my eye looking back at me, but I can’t seem to get around to trying to create another one. This new release is a winner, isn’t it!

Thanks for the update. All in all it sounds positive 😊. BTW, I noticed you requested a bottle of Beewitched in the sale thread. (I LOVE it!). The reason I mention it here, is because it is sexy but somehow comforting/calming at the same time. Hard to put into words. You mentioned he seemed a little nervous this last time, and as Beewitched is phero free, you can use it with any pheromone blend that you like. (I also got a couple boosted with cops). Anyway, good choice. I hope you like it.

Mine is out for delivery! My mail has been so bad lately as far as deliveries go, I won’t relax (or stop listening for the mail truck) until it is truly here. @Eastwood22 what are you doing up! You posted directly above me about an hour ago, which makes it like 5:40 am for you! Don’t do as I do (I don’t sleep much). PS L-Carnatine + Valerian root actually does help me. Especially the L-Carnatine.

( Another cinnamon toast fan here too). It’s so good, doesn’t need expensive ingredients, just LOTS of butter, lots of cinnamon, and no scrimping on how thick it goes on. I really like this 🙂. So far no problems with the maple. It reminds me of Warm & Toasty too . (I am partial to the W&T label though. Just too cute). Something seems smoky about Cassia. It’s not in the notes, and no one else has remarked. Must be me 😐.

I’ll be watching for thoughts as to how the rebrew of Beewitched compares with the original. My order shipped yesterday (it looks like it’s the two I placed separately combined for shipping, which is great!). There’s a wedding I’m going to in a little over a week, and I’m planning to wear Beewitched . It’s perfect because (A) I adore it, and (B) it doesn’t have pheros. I’m the designated baby holder for the ceremony, and I wouldn’t want to wear anything pheromone enhanced with such close contact. I’ve not read any conclusive studies about if this, and don’t know if it’s any sort of issue or not. This year’s Fall/Winter releases have been wonderful! I’m so glad I got the sampler this time around. PS @androstenolI did get one Beewitched as a spray 😀 and a couple boosted with cops as well. So excited for my order to get here.

I agree with everything Luna just said. (At least in regards to Beewitched, as I wasn’t around for Sugared Babe). The first couple of times I wore it, it did seem like it stayed close to the skin, but yesterday when I put it on, the silage had increased quite a bit. And the scent lingers a looong time. It seems like there was a SLF OCCO at one time? Something to that effect anyway, and sadly that one did not work for me. This is a seriously feminine sultry sexy fragrance that has a refined feel. On one hand it is deeply sexy, but yet it’s something that would not be inappropriate to wear in any setting. Words can’t adequately express how much I love it. And yes, @luna65 it is bewitching—a perfect name for it!

@RosesArePink It’s hard to know. Plus, the amount she makes varies. Sometimes she just can’t get the ingredients to make much of a certain perfume in a collection. You’ve gotta figure some are held at the physical store, some on the love potion site, and Etsy has some. Etsy never shows that many, but it can still give you a feeling for if there is much stock. If it’s under 5 full size bottles it’s a sign there aren’t many anywhere. This is not a proven method at all. It’s only what I do to get an idea if I’m in for a perfume shortage crisis or not lol. Maybe Mara or someone who actually knows the answer will answer.
