Thanks for the awesome (and cute) labels! I really do appreciate that. Just out of curiosity, what'd you think of this scent? I just put a bit more on (even though it has been almost 7 hours and I could still smell this) because it just smells great to me.

Yup, we are very lucky and that is why I wanted to make a point of giving her scent the recognition it deserved. Oddly, the first thought that came to my mind after I first sniffed this (okay the second thought behind, 'Oooooooh...') was 'Whoa, this smells insanely superdelicious.' I know that my Walgreens friend seemed to like it but it was funny how I could watch the thoughts play out on her face before she decided that different was most definitely good.

I know this is just a PE so may not be widely available but I wanted to publically thank Mara for this scent. This is exactly what I wanted and more than what I wanted. It is NOTHING like anything I've smelled before and so honestly I'm not sure what other people will think of it when I wear it. I know I like it. Mara you are a GENIUS. I did have a funny experience with someone at Walgreens earlier today. I flirt with one of the employees there just because I am bored and she flirts right back. Just harmless fun. Sometimes I catch her sniffing me if I'm wearing Mark's Girl Nip or Mark's Tonka Tobacum in particular. Today I had on Snoopyace's Summer Place and it was funny because I saw her face as she caught a sniff of it. The look of 'something smells new or different' and immediately, 'do I like it?' and I am leaning towards yes because during the course of the conversation she kept edging forward until she was sort of standing next to me yet facing me. It was funny. And I was phero free today so it wasn't one of Diane's wonderful blends causing it. At first all I really got was the peppermint and lime and a bit of the ambergris (I just love the smell of that). After a while it morphed to mostly sandalwood and ambergris and then back to more lime and sandalwood. This scent is really dynamic in how it changes on the skin. Very different from anything I've smelled but I really do like it. Find myself going back and huffing my arm where I applied it. After the peppermint had its strong start it sort of hovers in the background with the green tea which never seems to become prominent. I love how the peppermint just adds a bit of coolness to the scent (sort of like the way the black pepper in Mark's Pepperwood just tickles the nose). Speaking of the peppermint, Mara was kind enough to include a sniffee of Peppermint EO that I could add a drop or two to my bottles if I wanted a bit more peppermint. I may try it after I give them a few weeks to 'age'. Even the label is cute! One of my bottles (bought 4 oil and one spray) must have leaked because two of my labels were oil soaked but mustn't have leaked much because they are all full to above the label. I cleaned off the bottles and hope the labels dry (but they do smell great). Because this is such a different scent than I am used to, I am looking forward to seeing what others think when I wear it out. (Fingers crossed)

If I remember right, this was one of the unisex ones. I was really interested in reading what others thought because I thought it sounded like it'd smell awesome. I guess you just answered my question as to whether a guy could wear it. Maybe I'll just get a bottle for a female friend.

Me too! Hooray! I am hoping it comes before Tuesday so I can pick it up at my office. I know it is going to smell fantastic! (new PE)

Okay so I am sitting here after having been outside shoveling some of the 21" of snow that fell last night. I am thinking to myself, I need a taste of Summer (and I gave away my bottles of Brad's Days of Summer- allergic to something in it but it smells incredible) I don't have my 'Summer scent' PE yet so I'll grab for the LP#9. Wow, the bottle is a third of the way gone and I just got it not long ago! I guess I do wear it a lot. This is one scent that sort of snuck up on me. I really like it but I didn't realize just how much I have been wearing it. So now, I sit here in front of my computer smelling really good and starting to feel less winter blah. I really like the way the citrus and musk play in this and unless my new PE becomes my signature scent (I already have 3 that I rotate between) I think I'll be getting another bottle of this (apparently sooner rather than later).

I LOVE Fade To Black. On me it is a very dark scent which I really like. Also attracts a lot of positive attention which is always a great thing.

I would LOVE for the phero scents to also have a phero free version! I can think of a few I'd be all over if they did.

I had to comment on something I notice every time I wear this scent. First, of course I love how it smells on the skin. It is alright in the bottle but after I put this on and the vetiver and sandalwood both come out to play with the black pepper just tickling the nose... Yeah, good stuff. I notice that as soon as I roll this on I find that my shoulders roll back and I feel like I want to stand up straighter. I also notice that the energy around me shifts considerably and I feel very strong and well protected on an energy level. Sunday I went grocery shopping with a relative and she even commented on how funny it was that everyone who passed me seemed to hover waiting for me to talk to them (bear in mind that I was phero free this day). If I would acknowledge them they'd have to tell me how they found something on sale cheaper somewhere else or just what they liked about a product, etc. It was wild because it was as if they felt the need to ingratiate themselves to me. This isn't a one time occurance, either. This happens every time I wear this. Also, anyone who walks past me has to say something like, 'Sorry,' or 'Excuse me, sir'. Sir?!!! Looking at the ingredients list metaphysical properties it does make sense. I've actually taken to referring to this as 'Mark's Power Potion' in my mind because of the reactions I see. (Black) PEPPER ~ Protection, fidelity, dispels envy and evil, exorcism, breaks hexes. VETIVER ~ Enhances perception of beauty. Love, sensuality, money, luck, hex-breaking. SANDALWOOD ~ Love, exotic, sensual atmospheric; aphrodisiac. Healing, spirituality, exorcism. Everything in this has something to do with protection and removing 'lower energy' and I have to say from experience that when I am doing 'soul rescue work' or dealing with 'lower energies' that this stuff rocks to add an extra layer of protection for that as well. But again, I also love the way it smells on me and I have had compliments. Especially after it dries down to a really nice sandalwood and vetiver scent with the black pepper sort of tickling the nose in the background.

I ran into a ton of that with the original Teddy Man. I constantly had the women around me getting even more bossy than usual and I had to constantly stand up for myself (more than usual). I couldn't wear the original. Apparently I'm perceived as 'soft' already because I was basically a verbal punching bag when I wore it. I want to add that I am not saying all women are bossy. The women around me (there are those who know me outside of the forum that can attest to this fact) that the women in my life are rather invested in control and not cooperation and the original phero blend really seems to bring that to the front.

This was an interesting scent on me because over the course of a few hours it just kept morphing. First I got the berry very strongly, then the cedar would kick in more, then it turned waxy, then back to berry and sort of faded into a woodsy berry scent that is actually pretty nice. I was surprised at how much the scent evolved over time.

Got to try this scent last night. It was all bergamot and almost nothing else. I did get a hint of the amber in it but not really any mint even at the beginning. Having said that, I did think it smelled GREAT and reminded me a bit of Creed's Millsime Imperial (which is also a scent with bergamot) and that is a very good thing indeed considering the Creed scent is $150 and lasts maybe an hour. This scent I can still smell 12 hours later.

Finally got to sniff this one last night. Whoa... Yup, I think this is going to be a full bottle buy for me. I am really liking it. Even though there are very few ingredients in common, it actually reminded me a lot of Medium. On me it smelled very similar and also had similar empowering feeling to it. I LOVED Medium and if I could have gotten my hands on more than one bottle I'd have worn it a lot. I have a feeling I'll be getting at least one full bottle of Emperor.

Ugh! I was going to hold off on getting anything new for a while but you all make this one sound like it'd be right up my alley! Nothing worse than evil enablers.

I'd gotten a sample of this to try and while I really like it I did laugh because after about 20 minutes to half an hour it turned into a very shampoo type scent on me. I smelled like expensive shampoo. Better than smelling like real poo I guess. I do like this one a lot. Might get a big bottle of it. Either this or Pendragon which dries down to smell like shaving cream to me.

I've been totally digging this one but something in my chemistry seems to amp the citrus more than the musk (or hold onto the citrus so it sticks around with the musk), however it works. I actually had a random woman ask me about my scent because I smelled like a Dreamsicle. She did quickly add that it was sort of a masculine Dreamsicle. It was funny because I told her it was my Love Potion #9 and showed her the bottle. She thought it was pretty cool that the guys who did the song had a hand in the scent. On to other impressions. This is a LONG lasting scent on me. I can put it on in the morning and I still smell it at the application points the next morning. It also smells very nice. Fairly linear on me in that the citrus doesn't completely disappear in the first few hours. It takes more like 8 hours before it is musk with a little citrus. Whatever, I like it and more importantly the ladies in my life also like it. Good stuff!

Just got my bottle of Love Potion #9 (in oil). Out of the bottle it has that citrus note with just a hint of musk. Smells fantastic but nothing like a store bought cologne to my nose. That could be the oil base as opposed to the alcohol base. I just rolled on a ton and I smell awesome if I do say so myself. I can't wait to see how other people react to this when I go out in a short time. Right now I am loving it!
