Oh my. You all make this sound like Turkish coffee with Egyptian resins in a hookah bar. I wasn't interested in this before but I am now!
  2. I am all over "Goddess of the Blue Moon", "Lap of Luxury", and "Tails of Mystery"!
  3. You might try shaking it first to evenly distribute all the components. I'm not sure that would apply to a sample but it does sometimes make a difference in the bottles. I also find this strong and absolutely love it! I wore it around Christmas (as mentioned earlier), and since then I've worn it in almost every dance class (I teach bellydance, and I go for something more deep & dark like Christine's "Sin City" or LP Black for performances). Do any of you think some people's noses just don't register (or very faintly pick up) some scent notes?
  4. Is there an actual date set for when they'll be available?
  5. I love Waterhouse! I have a large print of "The Crystal Ball" (without skull). I went and looked at the web site, and am I correct that these ONLY come as a set and not individually?
  6. Oh my gosh, I can't wait to get my nose in that "Forever Rose"!

This is one of my top 5! I love Autumn scents, and I don't know of any other company that makes a body scent similar to falling leaves. There are plenty of candles scented with that, but no other perfume that I've seen. I love it!!!
  8. I pulled this out of the hoard after you all bumped up the thread, and I love it. I didn't get any spiciness; just a rich RED scent. It suits being called "rubies" perfectly! And suits wearing in February perfectly as it is very Valentinesy, and I will wear it the rest of this month (I celebrate my holidays for the entire month they're in ). It did not last a long time on my skin, but I will try moisturizing first and it probably will be fine.
  9. I've read various comments across a bunch of threads about how both of these seem to work very similarly as far as popularity, but I didn't see anything that compared them to each other. So can some of you more experienced than me users have suggestions on how they compare?

    Heartland

Definitely a favorite of mine. Perfect for that time between the end of Summer and the beginning of Autumn (but I do wear it all year when the mood strikes me).
  11. 'Swimming With Sharks'. I actually like it on its own, but the scent eases away so you do want to add another scent. I've started calling that the queen phero, because when I wear it I tend to be calmer and confident and in control. Sort of what you would think it would be like if you did happen to be royalty.
  12. This one is long lasting, too. Before showering this a.m. I could still smell what I had applied 24 hours ago.
  13. WATER LILY ~ Purity of heart. PLUMERIA ~ Love, strong ingredient for love spells. LOTUS ~ No man can refuse the woman who wears this; lovers reunited, protection. Symbolizes intellect, mental energies and illumination. Inspiration, clarity, purification. GARDENIA ~ Mood elevator; powerfully 'magnetic' for women, enhances visage, love, passion, peace, healing, spirituality. MAGNOLIA ~ Nobility. Psychic enhancer; inspires peace and harmony; fidelity. HAWAIIAN MAILE LEAF & VINES ~ Wedded love, fidelity, friendship, affection, protection, sex, divination, healing, stamina. BAMBOO ~ Protection, hex breaking, luck and wishes, fertility, wisdom, feminine energy. BLADDERWRACK and SEA MOSS ~ Protection, money, psychic powers, sea spells. CUCUMBER ~ Healing, fertility, abundance, invigorating. PINEAPPLE ~ Draws money and luck; chastity, protection. MANGO ~ Increases male libido, spiritually elevating. COCONUT ~ Chastity, protection, purification, receptivity. OMGosh, I can't imagine anybody not loving this one. It is blissful island-vacation-in-a-bottle. I would be happy to get dragged down into the depths of anywhere that smells like this! I get the watery notes first, and that segues into the more fruity notes. Pure bliss.
  14. Tore into this while I was reading a recipe for "Frozen Coconut Limeade" so now my brain is trying to read the vanilla and amber in this into being coconut. Though I can say I would love a suntan oil that smelled like this! http://chef-n-training.blogspot.com/2011/10/frozen-coconut-limemade.html FROZEN COCONUT LIMEADE recipe found at: She Wears Many Hats <p class="ingredients"> 5 1/2 cups ice 5/8 cup coconut rum (for non-alcoholic version, substitute cream of coconut, like Coco Lopez) 4-5 tablespoons frozen limeade concentrate (substitute lemonade version if you’d like) 1/8 cup water Add all ingredients to blender and blend until smooth. Preparation time: 5 minute(s) Number of servings (yield): 3

    Blushing Embers

With all the sugary pinkness and slight whiff of cozy smokiness, this is a great Valentine's Day scent.
  16. This is just what I needed to break up the 'winter doldrums' in January! Dreams of mermaids and summer will do it every time.

    Native Soil 2010

I recently got a bottle of this on the trading post hoping the cinnamon & sandalwood would be most prominent, but I'm having the same experience as JOC. I'm now searching for a separate cinnamon & sandalwood I can lightly layer with it.
  18. Rascal!!! This is one I've been hoping would come back! Gods (and Mara) be praised!
  19. I can't find the wooden box set. Is that just the regular monthly sampler?
  20. Finally got a sample, been wearing for a week now, and I LOVE it. I am all over green scents, and I get the water scent from it too. It is not a brisk, cold water scent; I almost get a little saltiness from it. Like a brackish bayou, but I mean that much better than that might sound. It is a comforting nature scent. 'Bayou Musk' and 'Lucky in Love Potion #7' are sweeter and not quite as close to nature as this, so if those were too sweet for you then you might like this. This is going on my full bottle list.....
  21. I love the sound of that scent, but not sure how the 'MVP' phero works on us girls. Any ideas how it does?
  22. If you are fresh out of eggs and good kidneys and livers, there's always hair for wigs. While I look askance at painful extractions of body parts, hair whacking is pain free.
  23. I never got oranges at Christmas, but I have an attachment to old-fashioned Christmas nostalgia. :xmas34: I looove oranges, and my favorite house scent for this time of you is something wassail (either because I'm brewing up some to drink or because I have a scented candle going) which has an overt orange note. And I am lucky enough to have a friend at work who has a satsuma tree so I have been getting tons of them lately! (Side note: a pharmacist friend of mine is a proponent of getting lots of vitamin C; he says it cures more ills than people realize) And I am incredibly excited about 'Gothic Christmas' since I missed the first one!
  24. I would love to see Immortal Beauty (one of my all-time favorites scent & intent) In the Lap of the Queen (for intent) Robin & Marian (for scent) all brought back!
