  1. ... and also when Rudolph became famous for his premature take-offs.
  2. Well, QG, I do believe the lack of kiddies has to do with the little talked about sleigh incident back in '69. See the Little Hummer Boy was playing a little too loudly when Santa was readying the reindeer to the sleigh on that fateful Christmas Eve. Rudolph the Red-Dicked Reindeer got a wee bit distracted due to the loud music and jerked the whole sleigh right into Santa's Naughty Pole. It was a Blue Ball Christmas indeed that year....
  3. Squeeeee! Is today the day? Can't wait to be Frosty the Snow Ho!
  4. I have revised my list so many times! I am thinking that this month I may get items that would be basics for my stash such as a OCCO White, LAM-Pink Amber, unscented Balm Bomb and unscented Cuddle Bunny, and possibly unscented Cougar too. Then when new releases come out I can sample those that sound like they are for me and add maybe one or two more that are outside what I would normally wear. And then, only after sampling, would I go back for the full bottle. I really need to stick to this plan with future orders. What I usually do is have an initial plan, then the NR labels/descriptions come out, I read what other people are getting frenzied about, then I panic and get a full bottle instead of sampling. Then when my order comes in, I do like the full bottle, but one of the samples is what I like even more and I wish that I would have got a full bottle of that instead. I end up waiting a couple of weeks and then finally cave in and order a bottle of what I should have sampled first and then ordered in the first place. AAAKKKK! It's a crazy cycle. Can anyone else relate to this monthly self-inflicted madness?
  5. Thanks for the tip Eggers! I'm going to stop by one in the next couple of days to do some sniffing.
  6. This is my favorite of all the new releases. I like some of the other ones, but this sweet, floral beachy smell is what I want to sniff when the long, gray, rainy season that is winter/spring in Western WA threatens to stay forever. Like Eggers said, I also get candied flowers and then there is a base of vanilla-coconutty yumminess that holds it all together. Beautiful and not too "blue" for me at all. Some aquatic ones can get me a little queasy, but this one is a gem. I am loving the cactus honey note in this and I believe it is also in Sneaky Clean. I kind of want to see what it smells like on its own in order to fully be able to identify it. I also don't think I've ever smelled Ylang Ylang on its own, but if it is the sweet floral with a bit of tang to it that I'm picking up, then count me as a fan!
  7. See? This stuff is magickal! I was getting worried that this may be GGG, but if PM is getting hits, then maybe it will stay around for a long time. Yesss?
  8. Welcome to the fun!! I am newer here also and completely love it. Everyone here is so helpful, nice, and as funny as can be. Oh, I'm also an INFJ. I've taken that test multiple times over the years. Even the long 200+ mail-in version in college and it's always the same conclusion. INFJ. Interesting stuff. Anyway, welcome and enjoy!!
  9. Your mention of Caramel Musk got me thinking. I really like Fuzzy Wuzzy, but I wanted to looove it. I don't totally trust my nose right now as it's that TOTM. I get a bit of lavender and definitely the buttercream, but I wanted to get a musky scent in there too to flesh it out more. I layered FW with Caramel Musk and it is lovely on me. It made the brown sugar and vanilla come out more and mixed with the amber and light musk it is purrfect.
  10. I have tried numerous scents since discovering LPMP and I can't wait to continue to try more of them. This one is my very favorite of them all. I never would have thought that it would be based on the notes. I got a bottle in my last order after using up my sample in a couple of days. I get deep pecan pie filling at first, and then the sexy whispers of frankincense & myrrh start entwining with the pecan pie. Like it has already been mentioned, it's foody, but not too foody. I feel so damn sexy whenever I wear this. It is such a comforting scent that is also naughty peaking around every corner. Like a passing glance with someone that lingers just a bit longer than it should and speaks volumes in underlying desires. Totally fits my personality and I hope it never, ever is gone for good.
  11. I was worried that she would think I was some sort of weird bellydance/perfume stalker!!
  12. I'm a wee bit south of Tacoma in Steilacoom. For awhile I thought you may be my belly dance instructor. I haven't taken classes for a couple of years but i really enjoyed them and was thinking about joining up again. Snoq Valley is beautiful. Hope you package gets to you soon!
  13. I feel your pain. My order got to me fine this time but the previous one went to AK first and I live in WA too. Took over an extra week to get here. I even called USPS to see how this could happen and got nowhere. I think there is a flawed step in the sorting facility for how they are reading or sorting for items going to WA. Eventually my package got to me but now with every order I feel like it may go wayward again. So stressful. Sorry for you Raqs.
  14. Just checked again and it is out for delivery today!! Turning out to be a great day!
  15. I got my shipping notice on Friday. It hasn't shown any movement since departing the sorting facility on Friday. I am keeping my fingers crossed that it doesn't take the meandering CA to Alaska to WA route again. So excited to start the sniffing party! I am the only one at the party, but it sure is fun!!
  16. Greetings and welcome!!
  17. I'm kicking myself for not getting a sample of Leather with my order that is headed my way. Thank goodness we can still order them for a bit. Off to go plot my next order while awaiting one that is on the way. Sign of a LP addict
  18. Wore this one today and thought it was lovely. I had sniffed it a couple of times before and thought it may be too aquatic of a scent for me. When it was wet it was strong with waterlily and floral. After dry down it was terrific! Fresh, bright floral with a touch of watery-ness but not overly so. Reminds me of a cousin to Sneaky Clean. I'm thinking a full spray bottle would be fantastic for this spring.
  19. After much deliberation, I finally got my order placed. I decided to go w/ some of the samples of un-pheros and then get some virgin scents to mix and match with my mood. Went with: Monthly sampler Pick your potions of Heart & Soul, Cougar, Audacious, Gotcha & TMI Vicars & Tarts Mojo Oil Sneaky Clean LAM - Pink Amber Fuzzy Wuzzy - non-phero'd (in case Gotcha! turns me into a loose lipped floozy) Caramel Musk Samples of LP Red, LP Pink and a back up sample of Wall of Protection to keep in my car. I am treating myself to my own birthday present this month and am super excited to get all my goodies!!
  20. I am finally going to admit to myself that I just can't wear scents with cherry notes. I have had several tests of Jubilee & Kitten Nip and the cherry hits my nose like an old fruitcake. Undeterred, I still put it on thinking that it will eventually turn into what other people describe when they are swooning over their heavenly cherry clouds of joy. If anything it gets much worse than initial application. My skin turns it into a long forgotten moldy fermented fruitcake. UGH. Anyhoo, I really like the idea of Jubilee (and Kitten Nip also) and the pheros are spot on. I wore Jubilee today to an elementary school Veteran's Day assembly to see my 4th grade niece belt out some patriotic ditties. I was so comfy and feeling love and peace for everyone. Warm fuzzies for all! Then I started getting choked up and trying hard to fight back the tears because I felt so old and these youngsters are our future and I hope we've been able to provide them with the tools they need to succeed in this crazy world and I am so grateful to the veterans and I should hug my dad more for all he's done for our country and so many people have given up so much for me to sit there and stew in fruitcakey cherry that I can't really wear and everyone else can and, and... wahhhh! It was like I had just finished a marathon of watching Beaches, Titanic, and Terms of Endearment. I was so over-the-top sappy that I would have started slapping myself if it would not have scared the children. Once I got a grip (and I checked myself before I wrecked myself, hehe), I blew kisses to my niece and hightailed it out of there. I ran to get some strong coffee because after all, I am from Seattle and coffee is a blessed gift from the gods. It worked it's magic and all is now right with the world. Or it will be once I figure out my LP order I have been obsessing over. edited for spelling.... egads.
  21. Just the mere mention of lavender and cake/cream scent and I am all in!
  22. Mcreepers I feel the same way! I hear about this one so much. I know it would be love at first swooning sniff.
  23. Well you'd better start preparing to open you doer to a line up of sexy smelling but super starved hotties! We'll do all the dishes and then reapply our travel stash.
  24. Ahhh! Can't give away all our secrets. . Plus it sounds like a win-win situation to me. Except to the death of course...
  25. Lol! Damn that was a good laugh. There's a future for you in Hollywood kid. (Said in a pervy director voice with a half chewed cigar hanging from lips)
