I am really loving this and couldn't be happier! My first application was not good because I got this the same day I started my cycle and I couldn't smell hardly anything. Sniffer was totally off. Then I tried it about a week later and I could smell only sweet, kind of strong, lavender but it layered beautifully with Purple Puff. After that I wore it by itself (and some BBM because I always wear cops now) and it smells fantastic! I get the lavender which quickly morphs to coconut lavender and then it is coconut lavender vanilla sugar. I think it needed a bit of time to age and my nose, plus a cold, really was throwing everything off. It is so comforting and just what I was looking for. I hope you don't get tired of hearing this, but Mara YOU ROCK!

Can't wait to see the description for Enduring Appeal! I really wanted a new blend with Cougar. That sucker totally works for me ;-)

So I read through the Nov 2011 release thread and the NRs went up on night of Halloween last year. Just saying.... that totally works for me. Not saying that is going to happen, but YAY if it does. And for those that would like some more time, I say take your time. I'm sure there will be plenty of love and excitement to go around when the time is right for you. :-)

Oh, you should really at least sample it. There was one more stage after I posted the review. A light & sweet creamy vanilla was the final stage right before I went sleep. I love that your man wanted you to post his critique and his scent association. Now if I could only find a man that wanted to discuss LPs with me in depth and then reaped the rewards of us both having super sniffers that trigger strong emotions, well.....the world would be a better place! At least for me...hehe.

So I tried this out for the 2nd time. The first time was two weeks ago when I got my package and started my cycle on the same day. Ugh. Anyway, when I first tried it all I could smell was patchouli. It didn't smell bad, I just felt like it was not for me. Fast forward to today. When it was wet it smelled like a golden apricot. I couldn't believe it was the same scent and had to double check it. Then about 2 hours later while I was at work I started smelling fresh roses. It was like someone had dropped off a big bouquet of roses and I kept sniffing the air not realizing it was me. Finally I remembered I had put this on but I couldn't recall if there was any rose in it. I had a female coworker smell me and asked if she smelled roses. She said no, but you smell goooood. Then got googley eyed for a second. About 3 hours after that I started smelling sweet amber apricot that was making me swoon with it's loveliness. This is a tricky little morpher that took me on a scent ride today and I loved every sniff. I'll keep this in mind when I first smell something and swear it just isn't for me.

I surely do hope everyone is safe on the east coast, but I really would like to see the NRs this week. (Plz no tomato throwing :-)). It's my 1st Nov release and I have already spent oodles of time plotting out my order of the known wants and plenty of guessing what I could want. Dang this is FUN! ETA: I just saw some more hurricane updates and now feel like a greedy schmiegel. Of course I hope everyone is ok first. Hugs to you MrsC!

I'm surprised! Both caramel and musk are usually a quick no for me. It pays to get out of your comfort zone sometimes! Now I'll have to look at some more musks to add to my repertoire.

Tested out my sample today and meooowww! This is good stuff. I usually amp caramel big time, but this one really works. I get a very pleasant sweet musk, with the musk being the star of the show. Comfy, cozy, purrrr. I wouldn't have even picked caramel as one of the ingredients.

Yay, I'm going to get researching so I have a combo ready to go w/ my next order. I need to narrow down the scent family though..floral, light musk, foody etc. So many choices! I swear that a part of my obsession with LP is that I get my research/science junkie fix completely filled. Oftentimes I can get a little bored after discovering an etailer after I have tried the majority of what I am interested in. But here, sheesh! I get to research tons of established scents, plus new ones each month, along w/ experimenting with pheros and reading all the info on the board. It's like a part-time job that I love!

The more I mull it over, I think I'll wait until Nov release. I know if I get something boosted w/ h&s prior to the new releases, and then there is an h&s boosted scent in the Nov line up, I'll really wish I would have waited. MDC, that's funny that you thought of Butterfly Kisses as a good match too! Peonies are my favorite flower.

I love the phero effects from my PIP sample, but the scent of PIP doesn't work at all for me. I am looking to have something boosted with this, but am so far relying on the fragrance descriptions since I have not tried a whole of the offerings. I may just wait until next months release to see if there is anything boosted with this. If there isn't, what would be a clean, layer-able scent for this one that works with the phero? Butterfly kisses? Something that is in the same scent family as Sneaky Clean? I'm curious, what would a LPMP veteran choose to boost this with?

I saw that and it gave me hope that it will eventually make it here. I'm itching to make another order but want to try out some samples from the package I'm waiting on. We'll see if I can hold out until it arrives!

Got my shipping notice on Tuesday with delivery scheduled for today. I just checked the status and its in Anchorage. From CA to AK and hopefully to WA. Bummed but I'm hoping it eventually makes its way to me.

I tried my sample of this last Sunday. I spent the day at home doing laundry, dishes etc. The scent reminded me of a melted banana split and definitely had staying power. It did knock me out within 5 minutes though. To be fair, I was a little bit sleepy any way, but I put this on and continued with folding laundry while sitting on my couch. I woke up with my cat and dog staring at me and a pillow made out of the clean towels under my head. I didn't even remember the falling asleep part, but I do recall being veryyy relaxed and then BAM, I was asleep. I will try this one again when it is not a lazy Sunday afternoon.

Meeeep!!! OMG these look fantastic! Can't wait to try them and also my PE. I feel all flustered and light headed with joy. And what is also exciting is now I get to look forward to new scent choices every month. I'm over-the-top happy I found this site and have LPMP in my life!

Purrrrr....Red Lace. I sniffed this sample from my first order about a month ago. I smelled cinnamon woods and thought this is just not me. I am sometimes stubborn about what I assume will or will not work for me. For instance, just the mention of patchouli and I am out. So this morning I thought what the heck, I'll give this one a whirl today. I'm so glad I did. I put on a bit of Cops & Robbers in the crook of my arm which is something I do pretty much every day. I seriously am addicted to that one. Then I put on a few swipes of Red Lace on my forearms and one on my chest using just the dipper stick. So not a whole lot, but I can definitely pick up the cinnamon and something else warm woodsy. No apricot at all. Then I remembered that Red Lace may have cops in it so I frantically pulled up the reviews online. But by this point I just don't care if I am cops bombing the world. I smell so damn good! And the blending of the Cops/Robbers with the Red Lace is Y-U-M. Again, I went slightly light on both but the raspberry cinnamon concoction is totally doing it for me today. Lesson learned though... I can wear patchouli if it is a background player and not the star of the show. Now I'm off to put on something that matches my mood today. It's funny how some days I will have a casual outfit of jeans and a hoodie in mind, but by the time I am done scenting up, I am reaching for heels and a sexy blouse. ETA: I just wanted to let everyone know that I am aware that wearing too much cops could be a bad experience and I will be cautious not to be in an environment where this could initiate trouble. I used to work in a prison as a grievance coordinator (fun times!) and am used to always knowing what is going on around me and how to deal with it. Dealing with dangerous men in a prison setting is just not something I can un-know. It took me years in my corporate environment to feel comfortable with a stapler and scissors on my desk. I still always pick a seat that gives me full view of the room and the door so no one is sneaking up behind me. Hope I'm not coming across as paranoid or mega-tough. I may look and act like the girl next door, I just have some skills in dealing with not-so-pleasant people. Smooches! Now off to grab those heels!

I have been in a sweet phase recently and this one is perfect for me. Sometimes sweet sugary scents are beautiful at first, but then can get too sweet for me. I never get that ughhh, it's too sweet feeling at all from Darling Catalina. This one is lightly cupcakey with a hint of orange that blends well with other scents I may be wearing. The first time I wore it I had put a very small amount on and I ended up going to the grocery store. Every aisle I went down I had people giving me that DIHL look. I also had several people want to talk to me, almost like they were trying to think of a way to get closer to me. I was getting a little self conscious until I remembered that I had put this on. I am plotting another order and this one is definitely going on the list. Until then I am guarding my sample like it is liquid gold.

I have tried my sample a couple of times and while I am love the H&S, the combination of thick rose/caramel/curry on my skin is just not a good one for me. I can wear strong scents, but the only word that I can think of to describe this one is thick. Like an immovable brick of rosy caramel w/ a spritz of curry. I do enjoy wearing it around the house when I am wanting to chill out, but I think it is the H&S that keeps sucking me back in. I get sooo relaxed with this phero. I am plotting a next order and may just need to find something to amp w/ H&S that mixes w/ my chemistry and my sniffer a bit better.

Thank you for bunches for your advice! I figured I was probably overdoing it, but I couldn't stop myself. I would smell one and then think Oooooh, you smell good, I'll just put a little bit of you on. And then pick up another one and do the same thing. Here I am thinking Uhhh, yeah.... I smell damn good and sexy! and instead I am smelling like somebody knocked over a perfume display. I have all these goodies and I just want to try them all out right away. Lesson learned though. I imagine I'll have much more to learn, but I am soooo up for the journey!

I just don't know what to do about this one. I do love it, but I I had several not so great comments about how I smelled today. I'm sure it was my newbie error, but this is what I had on. A long swipe of Occo White, from cleavage down around belly button and back. I then smooshed my forearms/wrists on it to get a bit on there. I let it dry down for about 25 mins. Took the tester applicator and applied a small swipe of Torrid on each forearm over the OCCO. I felt like it would disappear pretty quick and I wanted to test out my other goodies so I sprayed a full spray of Elan Vitale boosted w/ Cougar Potion on my chest. I think some may have got into my hair. My son said I smelled like laughing gas. He recently had his wisdom teeth out so I guess he detected an odor from the laughing gas. I chalked it up to just having applied the scents and ran out the door. When I got to work I was in the ladies room and there was only one other lady in there. While we were washing our hands she said, Do you smell incense?. I kind of shook my head but she just wouldn't let it go. Ughhh. When my co-worker got there I made her sniff my arm. She wrinkled her nose and said I smelled like flowers and she hoped it was a sample. WHAT!! I had to go to the bathroom and try to rinse off as much as I could, but I think I still smelled pretty potent. I think Cougar Potion has COPS in it too right? Was this just too much cops or maybe the combo of Torrid w/ Elan Vitale? Or the combo of COPS + BI + Cougar? Could my body chemistry turn a scent that much? I did try Torrid the other day by itself and my kids asked I had lit a candle. After that I also tried Torrid with The Good Witch, which was boosted with Perfect Match and loved it, but still those darn kids said I smelled like a candle. I have read tons of posts and thought I could get fancy with some layering, but I guess I have lots to learn.
