Fortunately I am unscarred by "churchy" memories or scents because I really LOVE this on me...my chemistry is loving up to this and it's SO comforting and cozy and....pleasant, kind of zen feeling (I am wearing with a touch of Sanctuary, so some of the zen may be coming from that). I'm TOTALLY making one of my bottle into a spay so I can fog in it! This is another scent with that smoke note that DRIVES MEH WILD! I am slathering this at a ridiculous rate

Wet, the boozy notes (bourbon, Sambuca?) were pretty obvious and out front but once it settled down it was this great vanilla, sugary amber and then whispers of smoke wafting about. The boozy notes never overpowered and I just smelled edible! I don't know what it is that I SO love about Mara's smoke notes but they send me to the MOON and back...make my eyes roll every time and a smile forms without effort. This is a rich, chewy scent - completely slather worthy!

I would settle for slathering...I was told early on NOT to drink these or the perfumes....no matter how great they are or smell

Blush and Vermillion are beginning to look like necessities...probably Atomic Mandarin too...a sample of Lucero with Charisma and something with SWS....

Sometimes peach loves me - original brew of WW - or too pointy - Shen Tao. I WANT so much to love this b/c I love PM. I get excited every time something new with it in the fragrance comes out!

Hehe...I'm a slatherer at heart...no sparing for me...but then I love the foodie scents. Cougar going "patchouli-esque"?! And there isn't even patchouli in it. How odd You could try applying under your top, on your torso to keep the scents "under wraps" and maybe use a bit more that way? If you're using sparingly, you may not be using enough for a phero effect as the phero'd fragrances are usually 1/3 the strength of the unscented blends already.

I was surprised by how much my HUSBAND liked Orangzipan...this may be another winner I'll have to get just to wear for him....I'm sure I'll love it too...bright orange....cake like vanilla base....

I know right!? I stuck to my resolve this month about ordering the sampler first...but I've already "thought" a half dozen "colors" were already no brainers Eagerly scouring for reviews....

If this turns out as smashing as I think it will - when I get my grubby little mitts on it - THIS would be a PERFECT pairing!!!

Currently: Papal Purple Sanctuary Sweet Pea Cupcake Moon Sugar Candy Smoking Bun

First on this is wet sugar on me Just SUGAR, got a cavity SUGAAAH! It's been about 20 minutes or so and OHMYWOW! This is absolute dreamy goodness! Buttery, creamy, chewy amber and sugary vanilla! I CANNOT believe how complimentary the sweet pea is! It BELONGS here! It's one with everything else! At first application I thought this would be like Pure Sugar or Spinnerett, but this isn't JUST sugars and sweetness - this IS Cupcake and FROSTING and swoon worthy!

This is rose forward but there's also this clean type of scent/feel to it as well - like those fancy cut out rose shaped soaps that I've seen sometimes in the department or Linens~n~Things kind of stores. Not the same clean type vibe as Defrosted. It's just kind of behind the rose to my nose. It's really pretty, but not for me. I seem to just not be a "clean scents" kind of girl I wanted to love SC and X Appeal and CB, and I think they're all lovely, but I guess I'm just opposite because most of my likes that I go for are either toward sticky, gooey, sweet goodies or earthy, resin, chewy type scents.

Wet, it's floral to my nose and I thought - uh-oh...could be good, could be bad....But on there's a, hmm, yes, juiciness, like Blackcat mentioned. This one is going to take some more exploring. I currently have on just a smidge for testing, but I think I would like to slather this for full effect (I know, I know, when do I NOT slather?!) But there's something definitely exotic and unique about this that isn't being done justice in such a tiny test area (it's currently sharing space with Irish Rose). It's sweeter than I expected but the other notes ground it so well...I'm thinking when the fruits begin to fade and the cardamom, pepper and clove step forward more it will be very different.... Update: This is changing already....I think it's the myrrh stepping to the front with the hint of sweetness and spices as a pillow....Mmmm, this is getting interesting...I'm quite liking where this is going so far...

Yup. This one is soft and floral and clean. Not for me but for fans of Sneaky Clean and X Appeal, it would surprise me if this were not a favorite for this month's NRs

I love orchid and although I DO like the smell of this, I've found that the perfumes with the tea notes are ones I like tremendously but not to wear on me. I love them in the oil warmer scenting my house. Smelling them is SO pleasant and I love my home permeated with them. I wish they worked better with my chemistry. My skin does something sharp to them that doesn't smell as pleasant as in the oil warmer - but at least I can still enjoy them

WOW! What an unexpected LOVE. This is SO pretty and feminine and...and...some what sweet? The fruity musk in the description? It's not foody, just soft and floral and absolutely LOVELY. I thought I would go for the orchid one - and I DO like that one quite a bit - but I'd have to say that this one edged it out. How gorgeous!

What a delicious review! I may turn my sample into a spray to try it out that way...up into the air and out and about...be a walking cloud of scrumptiousness!

I've been considering that. I will have to put it on my man beast to see. I think it's woodsy and resinous enough to work on him, especially with the carnation being so peppery rather than floral, the marshmallow doesn't come out until much, much later. I will try it on him tomorrow and report back Update: I couldn't wait! Upon application, man beast proclaimed "Not a guy scent. It's too sweet." Five minutes after app, "Def NOT a man scent...if I smelled it on a guy I would think - cream puff" The longer he wears it..."I think I would ike it on you, but definately don't like it on me, it definately seems like a girl scent. The longer I wear it, the more I want to wash it off." Funnily enough, even the DOG doesn't approve of it on him...he keeps turning his head away from my husbands app spot...however when I have the pooch sniff my app spot, he's all love-n-kisses and climbing all over me for attention The carnation IS sweeter on him and less peppery...I think it smells fantastic HAHAHA! But I have to agree - this is definately NOT a guy scent. Mystery solved!
