  1. I wore this when I went to see my physiotherapist this morning, and she said that it smelled very familiar and comforting. It make me smile
  2. I actually find this has the very faint undertone of pee on my skin after an hour or so. Not cat pee, but people pee. I have it in a PE as well as unscented, but I'm thinking on my skin it may need something just a little bolder or sweeter to cover the pee smell. As for the effects, I've only tried a little tiny bit from time to time, but I find that it helps keep me chilled out and not overly anxious, even to the point of getting a little drowsy.
  3. I was scared that this would be all maple or candied bacon on my skin, but it actually smells like sticky cinnamon rolls! I find it smoother and more easy wearing than Buns of Cinn (which was a little too "in your face" for me). I think the sweet egginess - more like thick, moist eggy muffins than scrambled eggs - helps cut the cinnamon and make it less harsh. The hickory note gives it more a sense of the outdoors rather than a meaty, bacony smell. This is quite lovely
  4. Creamy, vanilla-ish, sweet and fluffy, with a slight tang of lemon and cardamom. I was hoping for more of a creme brulee type scent, but this is more of a... panna cotta scent. Creamy, smooth, lucious and refreshing rather than cloying. I'm thinking that it's the faint fluff of coconut that does it. It's sweet, and definately a dessert-type scent, but it's not a hugely sugary scent. The maple plays nicey and doesn't over-power the more delicate notes. It's a cooler, more sophisticated scent than Dolce Far Niente, which is a warm, snuggly, casual kind of perfume to me. Lick of Cream is more of a lady-like scent than a cuddling by the fire scent. I like it a whole lot!
  5. This is definately a Phero Girl scent, but it is still very distinct. The chocolate/honey combo reminds me a lot of Deliciously Wicked. It also seems to have less sharpness than Phero Girl on me (which I'm pretty sure is the orange blossom, because my skin is weird), but instead has a spiciness that I can't quite place. It's almost cinnamony, but not actually cinnamony. From the other reviews I was expecting a really juicy, bright peach scent, but that's not what I get. The peach is there, but it's well balanced with the other notes, and I have to concentrate to find it. It's not as "OHMYGODHONEY" as Phero Girl, and it doesn't smell like a bar of chocolate, nor a slice of peach pie. It doesn't actually smell like a foody perfume, despite all the foody notes. It confuses me, but in a good way! It's a very grown-up kind of a perfume, not girly or wishy-washy. I can't pick the cops when I first put it on, which is a surprise considering how strongly the cops bloom on my skin in Phero Girl. It's very interesting, and probably more user friendly and work friendly than Phero Girl.
  6. I am SO looking forward to this!
  7. Does the peach give it a Love Potion (original) vibe, or is it very distinctly more of a Phero Girl scent?
  8. I think I'm officially an addict, having just impulse-bought a bunch of phero blends unsniffed
  9. Thank you so very much! Especially for the psychic intiution! I'll tack it in with my next order
  10. If there is any more room for Skye Loves Chocolate - ROUND 2, I'd love to get a bottle
  11. I'm thinking I have to get myself a bottle of boosted Special Delivery... it's so tasty!
  12. I grabbed myself bottles of A Lick of Cream, Pouncing Potion and Breakfast in Bed. Because, you know, who needs money?
  13. Lick of Cream. Dies. Dies handing over fistfuls of money.
  14. I would have preferred if this was a little sharper like real frankincense, but I like it nonetheless! It reminds me of a slightly more masculine version of Sugared Amber. SA is warmer, more sticky in scent, while SF&M is just a shade more bitter and clean smelling. It wears close to the skin, so it would be great for people who want to have a little bit of a scent without drowning everyone around them. It's quite subtle, really, and I don't think it would work on me as a single scent. I tried it layered with Honeyed Sin, and it's freaking amazing.
  15. I seem to be developing a wicked PE habit. And not just my own! I keep making grappy-hands at all the lovely PEs on the site! My poor wallet...
  16. This smells like light, fluffy turkish delight candy! It's exactly what I was hoping for - the cherry is well-behaved, with a sweet almond-like note, the rose is light and sweet and pink, like rosewater, and the marshmallow is not in anyway over-powering or overly sweet. It's a lucious but light scent, not cloying or heavy. Very tasty!
  17. Oddly, in contrast to ravenwing on me this is all marachino cherries with a back of chocolate cream. Special Delivery on me is rich chocolate with candied dark cherries, while this is more sugary and bright. I'd say that Special Delivery was a more grown-up scent, while Black Forest Cake is sweeter, girlier, and fruitier. SD is more of a night-time or formal scent, but BFC is a day-time, play-time scent. It's just lovely, and quite distinct from SP. I'm happy to have them both
  18. This is for the rebrew. Frankly, I adore it! A lot of creamy scents like chocolate can go ashy on my skin (smelling like nothing more than ashes), but the chocolate in this remains lucious and rich. The cherries are neither medicinal/artificial or tart and super fruity, but sugary and dripping. It's a smooth, bright scent without so much a sharpness to lighten it, but it just feels happy. Despite the foody nature of it, it isn't really an overtly "I smell like a smooshed cherry cordial" scent. I think the amber tempers it enough to make it more wearable as a daytime perfume rather than a special occasion scent. It lasts well for about 2-3 hours on my skin, and is probably one of those scents that needs to be reapplied.
  19. Tanuki is a she I picked her and her sister up from my local animal shelter about one and a half years ago now, and they are super-adorable. I'm plotting commissioning a PE for her sister, Cinder, sometime called "Big Fat Tabby Cat", because, you know... she is.
  20. This makes me smile and giggle. It's perfect! Peppery anise tempered by fluffy cleam and sugar. This is like the scent embodyment of my cow print kitty, Tanuki, who goes from snuggling to biting while purring madly with no warning. A cat who plays just a little too rough, but doesn't really mean to hurt you. This is such a cheeky but sweet scent, I can't help but love it.
  21. Squee! I got two bottles of this, one blank and one boosted with Mother's Little Helper. For such an unashamedly foodie blend, it's actually a very subtle blend. If you sit and think about it you can get all of the notes, but if you don't it's a sweet, somewhat gourmand, comforting scent. This is a scent of snuggling on the couch with a bowl of icecream, watching sappy movies. It's also the kind of scent you could wear day-to-day, because it's a very... non-threatening scent. In no way does it say "POW! LOOK AT ME!" It's lovely. Thank you, so very much, for making this perfume so wonderful
  22. I'm trying so hard to wait until the next release before I order... I have about a billion PEs in mind (mostly single sugared notes, because I find myself craving single notes more than fussy, complicated scents lately), but I know I have to wait until both my pay cheque and the PEs to be open for ordering again. But the smellies! The delicious smellies! I think I can at least wait until one of my two current orders arrives
