That really sounds like an interesting combo because Pherogirl has this whole smutty honey, I mean business sort of scent on me. Something about that honey tested my patience until it decided to play nice. I need to start trying the layering!!

I keep seeing posts here and there about Act of Violets so I'll have to check it out. It seems really popular and I definitely like the idea of lighter brighter scents for work. I'm testing out Enduring Appeal at the moment and something in it is reminiscent for me of Cougar so I can see that one working out well (minus the fact it is Limited Edition). BTW, if you haven't tried Lap of Luxury, I tried that one out when I got it and it is very lovely too - not too feminine but just enough that I don't feel like I'm wear men's cologne. It's very fresh and clean.

I am always so happy to get the samples. Some that I might not otherwise consider or even know about have turned out to be ones I've really liked, If I could only snag a little sniffie of Time of Your Life, THAT"S the one that I waffle back and forth about getting. But I agree about SC, cops would probably go perfect in that one.

How did Pomander Royale wear? Have you tried it out on a test run? I got that one too but I haven't tried it yet. I sniffed from the vial and I got mega dose of clove. Oh, and I've added FB of LP Black and OCCO Black to my list here.

I'm stilling sniffing my arms. Its just so darn pretty. Its dark and sexier than LP Red but I love that the bases are the same and they are all connected in that way. OCCO Black sounds like it needs to be added to my next order. I'm thinking maybe I should get the White too since I'm finally breaking down and buying FB of the LP Original. I can't wait to try to the OCCOs. I KNEW that I'd end up having to get the whole line. Good thing I paid off the credit card. MissHazel was right, I need to catalog these for homeowner's insurance purposes!!!

When I first got LP Black, I have to say that I wasn't a fan. I couldn't tell you what it was exactly so I put it aside. A few weeks later... Holy Man of Steel, this stuff rocks!! On wet, every bit the sexy, dreamy, creamy vanilla buttercreme that everyone mentioned. It did do this wonky smell for a little bit at dry down that reminded me of working out in my grandpa's vineyard (earthy?) but then when it fully dries down, it is so gorgeous and dark. I get a mapley scent to it to but I like that a lot. I must not sample anything anymore straight out of the mailbox. I think that's what made me put this one aside. So now, gotta know: should I be buying the OCCO Black to go with it?

I have a couple of sniffies of Spontaneous Combustion, I'm thinking I need to get that one. It smells SO good, not as heavy a scent as LP Red but it reminds me of it a lot. Very sexy and spicy on me. And I'll probably get Luna's Miss Autumn too. I love the idea of burning leaves and mapley pancakes. *sigh* and we don't even know yet what July will bring...

I agree, quotes are a little funky now. My post had to do with Katz saying that she wanted Frambuesa in Linen Spray, Room Spray, Litterbox add-in, Alcohol spray w/Open Windows. Apparently, my mind was already in the gutter because my follow up question was "what's litterbox add-in?" LOL

OMG, I was such a dork. I was sitting here when I wrote that thinking "uh, hmmm, is that like a kinky sexual phero that you can only specifically ask for because you heard about it from some other kinky person who gives you the secret code?" ROFL Ok, yeah, litterbox... kitties, pooper scoopers. Got it now!! That was not a proud moment for me. I apologize. In other news, I hate to admit it but I pulled this one out today and gave it a run. I'm finding I tend to like doing that on the weekends since I can huff my arms all I want without weird looks. I have to agree with SpriteLeigh right now. I can barely detect raspberry. I can't really smell coconut. It does smell like suntan lotion. It reminds me of how suntan lotion smells after you've worn it awhile and you've been sweating and playing around. And that's not a bad thing per se. I just never really got the sweet goodness that everyone mentioned here. I'm going to put this one aside for a while. I'll try it out a few more times and see if my thought changes. I hope so. I'll give it a month and see if it or I change. I'm really read sad about this one right now.

I think that's a good start actually. I'd do it. It's strong and will last so just a dab at the ears should do you well!! Then you can see whether your skin eats it (I doubt it will) and whether you can be more of a slatherer than me. I just need dabs.. which is good... it will last longer.

LOL, NuTrix. All I can say is, I know, right? Remember, dab, don't slather at first. After letting it sit for awhile, I can say that I do actually love it even more. It's still definitely jasmine upfront but I think that it's a bit backed off... a bit... so now you get a bit more of the rain. Really its like jasmine blowing in your window during a spring rain! hee hee Hope to hear what you think after you try it and I hope you love it as much as I do.

Thanks Luna and SpriteLeigh!! I really love the choices every month. I'm still kicking myself for not getting a FB of Amazonia Zee. Only reason I don't remain sad is because every month has something just as great!!! Yep, rational part saying skip this month has pretty much been run out of town.

I agree SpriteLeigh! Between all of the June scents AND the PEs, there was so much to choose, it was mind boggling. This is my first summer with LP, do all the scents tend to be a bit lighter and then darken as the weather changes or does there seem to be a bit of everything all year long? I don't care whether lighter or darker, just wondering.

I'm giving this a good and proper waiting period. I will endure. If I just can't make it work, well I guess I know a few who MIGHT be interested. And just because... what is a Litterbox add-in? LOL

OMG.... June was such a big month! The rational part says you cannot stalk for July but the part of me is here and cannot say no.

I wore my MRF today with SS4W in it. I didn't realize I would have to be surrounded by instructors, many of which I didn't know from other buildings. I was just hoping to wear something that made me feel better. As it turned out, it was a good day to wear it because I ended up having to be around EVERY instructor on site and everyone was very chatty with me at our table and offered all sorts of help with lunch and items. It was nice.

If you research animal totems, lala, they say that certain ones will keep making an appearance in your life to gain your attention. You should look up seahorses and see if there's something there. I've always been drawn to dragonflies for that reason and I really don't like bugs but their meaning is beautiful and a reminder of what I need in my life.

I really love SS4W. I've got this in MRF, an UN bottle and Sneaky Clean. You are all absolutely correct, this stuff is amazingly effective and what I like even better isthat it does have a nice effect on women too. I don't know about everyone else but for me, it doesn't take a lot either (think I found that out the hard way). I am a big fan of this stuff!!

I've got unscented and scented Gotcha. I'd have to say that there's pretty much no scent of cops to me in that blend... much like Cougar. I had others say you could spray with no problems and I'd have to agree. You must be very sensitive to cops, Stacy!!

I like Juno! LOL I won't get to be a case worker for a long time but that just makes me laugh every time I see it!! I love that movie.

I think I'll stash it away if I get it before I see your review. It's more fun to listen to the person who requested it first and then try it out. It's sort of like being told that your baby is the cutest thing ever and you haven't even gotten to see him/her yet. LOL I'll use the reasoning of "it needs time to settle". I'll look forward to hearing how you like it!

I'd be happier too if it were tomorrow. But alas, I trust Luna's experience. There are some that I've found were better on settling than straight out the gate. Have a feeling these might be two. Fortunately, my hoarding has supplied me with plenty to enjoy until then. No instructors or allergic co-workers this week in the office means tomorrow has just turned into LP Red day!!! Woo hoo!!!
