I think I'll take your advice and let it rest for awhile. I've been trying to enjoy everything one by one and appreciate the notes and this one is worth the wait. Think I will do the same with Everything Nice too because I tried that one as well this weekend and whereas I got a yummy gingerbread to start, the dry down smelled vaguely savory to me later in the day. THAT was not what I wanted. LOL Although I might be a hit with the guys at lunchtime though. I'm going to let them age and then come back. See ya'll in a month!!

I tried to wear a little of this over the weekend and it just didn't seem to sit well. Is it possible to have scents just disappear and go wonky for a couple of days? My monthly present is over so that wasn't it but nothing seemed to last for any length of time and it just smelled off. I think I will try this tomorrow to get a good long test run. I hope it turns out different because this was the one I was most looking forward to.

Maybe someday I'll get to have a title that references the hotness of Henry. In the meantime, congrats to everyone!!!

Have you had a chance to test out your PE yet? It sounds so soft and fresh, I've been looking forward to hearing your thoughts on it!!

I thought I had one in my wallet... I was going to pull it out and give it to him only to find that it wasn't there. I may ask Mara in my next order if I can have a few extra cards because who would have thought that some of the people I would be sharing with are the mechanics. LOL

I wish I could have taken a picture because it's just not something you would ever expect to see ... and he wasn't ashamed either. His buddy was standing not too far away and he's just holding that little bitty bottle in his hands sniffing away, that's how much he loved it. I ended up rolling a little dab on the post-it so he could smell it during the day. He said he'd probably smell all foo foo but he didn't care. LOL It was awesome!

First, welcome aboard!!! You are going to learn a ton from everyone here and there probably no question you can ask that there isn't an answer to. Second, don't give up on Pherogirl just yet. I agree that a) you should shake the heebie jeebies out of that thing and that's probably something good to consider with many of the scents, the cops is strong in this one, probably more evident than in many I've smelled, and c) it could be the honey. When I first wore Pherogirl, I hated it. I hated it enough for 30 minutes that I thought I may have finally found the one and only scent that I couldn't stand here. Then not too long after that, it morphed and calmed and settled. It became a really soft and sexy scent and I was amazed... and thankful. As someone explained to me, back when all there was were oils, the intent was to create an ever-changing orchestra of scents and its really true. What you smell at first could definitely change with time as it blends and melds with your chemistry. You could still not like it but given a little time, you might be surprised. So enjoy your scents and let us know your thoughts as you try them all out!!

Oh boy, this is one I really wanted for summer and got it in my most recent box. I dabbed it on straight out of the box and instantly put it aside. It had a bit of a different scent... very strong melon - cantaloupe mostly as someone described but also a plastic sort of scent, something I hadn't quite smelled before. A week later, I decided that since all of the instructors will be in training this week, I'd try this out for good today since I wouldn't see quite as many people. With that said, I rolled it on this morning at 5 am, slathered is probably more appropriate and again I got a very strong melon scent along with that additional scent I could't quite put my finger on before. This morning however I realized that it's grass, green grass, very strong at first. Fresh cut grass is a scent I hadn't gotten in anything yet so I had to really stop for a few and think about it. Maybe a pinch of earth as well. I decided to spritz some Open Windows on top as well. By time I got to work, the grass/earth had mellowed and to me, it was a very lovely much softer melon but wasn't anything that struck me as strong. By about 8 am, I wasn't even thinking about it. That's when out of the blue, I have this big brawny mechanic guy come in to pick up a key and while I'm in mid-sentence he suddenly just looks at me and says "I have never smelled anything so delicious in my entire life, what are you wearing?" Our conversation went from "I need the key for the forklift" to "What are you wearing? Where did you get it? I need to buy that for my girlfriend." He actually made me write down on a post-it note the name of the company and the name of the perfume and then he wanted to see it (it was in my backpack) and he stood there just sniffing the bottle for a few minutes while I called around getting some information for him. LOL I honestly have to say that is the first time I have seen such a strong reaction to any scent. He was so cute... all brawny, tatted up with his hard hat on just standing there sniffing away at my Summer Belle. LOL So, I have to definitely give this a huge thumbs up. I couldn't smell it as much by time he came around but the effect it had was priceless. There could be a very lucky lady out there soon that will join the ranks if he has anything to do with it.

Probably sometime in the near future I want to get the whole LP line. After getting the sampler I basically loved how all of them smell. Red was first and favorite but Original is next followed by Pink and Black. I need bigger storage.

I've got Lap of Luxury, Knot and Year of the Snake coming my way. And Mara's right, Stacy, I tend to think that Gotcha is perfect for that. I got one of my LP Reds enhanced with Gotcha and it just strikes me as a combo that wants to wrap around someone and give them a great big hug.

You are right about that. LOL I know I had already become officially addicted BEFORE joining the forum and that's ok!! It's been awesome meeting all the other hoarderoonies!!

Thanks Eggers. I decided to go ahead and get a bottle!! After buying all of the normal scents I love, i.e. dark, resins, brown sugar, spicy, etc., I'm finding that it's just as important to have a few scents that are light and fresh, especially if I want to make a good first impression career-wise. I'll be trying this one out before I ever get to an interview stage but it seems like for all intent and purposes, this one may very well be my go to fragrance.

Question for you ladies, I am looking for an interview scent and Dolly recommended SWS as a great phero for just such an occasion. That, I intend on doing but I did want to find out whether the floral in Lap of Luxury is really strong. When I think of floral, I think of Betrothal and although it's a beautiful scent, that was unfortunately just way too many flowers for me. In general, is this one more herbal or have you found that the floral comes across in a major way? I just don't want to smell like a flower store but a gentle blend in the background would be great. Thanks!!! ETA: it seems from the posts that it might go either way on the floral amp. So, with that said, do you think the scent would be too much for a first impression?

Thanks Dolly!!! I'm leaning towards getting Lap of Luxury and I know it has SWS in it. Personable but in control is exactly what this position would call for and the scent sounds like it would be very light and professional as well. As for the remainder of my day with Sex & Violins, all I will say is my, oh my. Quite fun. This one is definitely a keeper and entirely for the effects it gave me. That was a feeling I could use more often. LOL

NuTrix, I choose to view these situations as follows: you are not weak, but they ARE too fabulous. You are simply being wise and a seer of the future... a future where Veloute Levande will no longer be available and the world and others will not be able to share in the joy of this fragrance. Therefore, you are holding in that box future memories to be made for someone who otherwise would never know. Or, it could be that we all are or are becoming LP hoarders.

No interview yet (I am as hopeful as they come) but I do want to be prepared because I think it will happen. It's definitely a public relations/administrative role so playing nice would be key. I definitely wouldn't want to wear something that might make me overly aggressive in their eyes but I'd definitely want to play up the fact that I will get the job done and do it with a smile. I was thinking maybe Cougar since it makes everyone comfortable and happy around me but again, not sure if that might also go in the wrong direction! LOL

I can't think of any scents I've tried yet that aren't just amazing. I can only think of less than a handful of standard perfumes that I like. Thanks to LPMP, I've gained a whole collection in a short amount of time that I just adore. There's a fragrance for every mood and every season. You are going to have so much fun finding out what you like and every month will bring new surprises as well!! Welcome to the addiction!!

Tiny dab, for sure Ducky!!! I was thinking I needed to get a back up bottle since its a limited edition but as little as you need, I'm thinking I might be ok with just this bottle (hoarder mind reconsidering that statement). And yes, I'm trying out Dom some more because this made me feel totally on fire today, energized and ready to kick some tush (or squeeze some as the case was today). I can think of a few days coming up at work when the confident and focused feelings will be very useful!! However, just as a side thought, do you think that's too dominant or aggressive a phero for a job interview? I definitely like how it made me feel but I'm not sure whether that's a good one to wear when you are trying to land a new position. Any thoughts?

I tried the Dolly roll today. When I first got this one awhile back, I instantly rolled it on and thought that it did sort of remind me of Pledge at first. I decided to put it away for the time being to let it sit and for me to come back to it with a different frame of mind. After reading your review this morning, I pulled this one out to see what I would think a second time around. Boy, what a difference about a month can make. I definitely get a wood vibe from it but there's a sweet and sexy base that makes it feminine. Definitely still really strong so I'm glad I did the small roll and dab... you're right, a little will do you juuuuuust fine. I think the Dom worked its magic on ME because I felt completely sexy, confident and in a good mood. My husband kept looking at me a little skeptically - probably because I kept thinking that I could totally eat him up right then and there. I don't know what he thought but if there wasn't a kid around, I probably would have thrown him on the bed... a few times. But then again, he was actually cleaning out the yard and I sure as heck wasn't going to stop him from finally getting out there and taking care of it. So, I guess with that said (and the night's not over yet), I definitely like the scent better and in a teeny amount. I'll have to test this out some more because if its the Dominance that makes me feel all sexy and powerful, I may just have to get myself a bottle of that stuff. Holy mackerel, Dolly!! What a review!! To add to Dolphindoll's question, how much did you use? A dab? A slather? So awesome that you had such a great night! I haven't tried this out for full effect yet but holy cow I want to now.

Thanks, Halo!! That is exactly the clarification I needed. I haven't been planning on using it with any calming type pheros (I have more than enough seriousness to go around. ugh) but just wanted to make sure I understood how it enhances others. Perfect!!

I wanted to ask you ladies a question that popped in my head on a different thread and didn't want to jack it so... My understanding is that Topper is supposed to be a happy, sparkly vibe and I hear others talk about how it enhances the phero you may be wearing. With that said, does that mean it gives a happy vibe to all your pheros, even when you may be wearing something calming and want to have a serious conversation OR does it enhance the effect of the phero you are wearing and intensify the effect? Just wondering. Want to make sure that I use it appropriately and not turn any serious heartfelt conversations into comedy night. LOL

Tyvey, probably the one that might not apply to would be Topper, correct? That one is made to enhance the pheros you are wearing and will add a sparkly, party, happy feel and would be considered ok to layer? I didn't see that one in Saffron's list but I'm sure she's heard of it or will soon and thought I'd ask.

Welcome Saffron!! I'm still quite new to the pheros here as well but what I've learned from the ladies and from experience as well is that you may want to just try them one at a time at first. That way you will be able to tell which ones work for you and which don't. When you blend them together, it starts to get confusing because you can't be sure which worked: this one or that one. I know because I've been there. SS4W and Cougar have worked great for me and by themselves I've seen some noticeable hits (and I tend to be rather oblivious). I'll be interested on the spraying on top of each or around each other... I still have questions about that too.
