  1. I decided to take a look on ArtFire and it looks like you can buy it!! Dolly, is this what you were talking about? Add to Cart Product Description Pure Cyclopentasiloxane Silicone ~ aka CPS or D5 - 1 fl.oz. HIGHEST GRADE, cosmetic quality, skin-safe unscented silky base for fragrances, bath, body and hair products, and pheromone products. Molecularly too large to be absorbed into the skin, so may extend the wear of fragrances and pheromones - and preserve the fragrance or pheromone from reacting with the skin chemistry of the wearer. Considered a clean, safe, hypoallergenic product. Mixes with pure alcohol, does not mix with water or DPG - there's no ill effect from the combination, but like salad dressing, you have to shake before each use. The only manufacturer warning states that it should not be combined with peroxides, as it will polymerize. It's $8.95 and definitely is worth the money if it helps to make your scent last long or stay truer!! I think I will add a bottle to my order so I can wear Velvet Kisses without going through the whole bottle in a day.
  2. I hadn't known you could ask for just a bottle of the silicone base. I have some scents that are really lovely (Velvet Kisses) but it tends to disappear really quickly on my skin. It would be nice to have something available for just those scents you know have that effect!! Thank you for mentioning that Dolly. I'm really excited to layer the OCCO Red with LP Red. Have you liked it Madison? Does it tend to brighten the scent?
  3. After reading some of the reviews, I was a little hesitant about how it would smell too. I definitely wanted the ocean aura but not necessarily a fishy smell to it. Mermaids of Atlantis is really perfect. Just the right blend of everything. So glad that you found the right one for you GG!! I agree there's a tang to it but I think it's just the right "bite" it needs!!! DD, you should definitely try it!! I think it makes a great summery light scent.
  4. Nothing new yet. Well everyone, have a happy Tuesday and happy stalking!!!
  5. I think the truth is that Maeia's is the one and only. Beautiful picture and its a beautiful scent. However Liz. I found one that could work well for a water pig. Maybe Mara could call it Hambruesa y Coco:
  6. *sigh* no super. That was an awesome one though Molls. We were all ready to turn you upside down to shake out your secrets!! LOL
  7. Oh my lord, if Mara found a way to bottle Henry Cavill... I will fight all of you ladies for every last bottle!!!
  8. QG: I actually wondered the same? My first thought was SS4W. Hmmmmm, it's starting to get intriguing.....
  9. Ahhhh man!!! Please???? Just one hint? Although cupcakes and glitter sounds really really good!!!! I'm ready to flail now.
  10. That actually sounded more innocent in my head QG. LOL Or maybe subconsciously... not?
  11. See, that would have been reasonable Mel but I think the FedEx guy was just being a jerk. I wouldn't go that route again unless forced to. I wouldn't have even done that except that they told the other company they would get there asap. Which, in and of itself sounds pretty funny considering how quickly customs works but it did arrive there fast. It better have considering the cost!!! Isn't that pic cute?!?!?!?! It reminded me a ratty CB alternative.
  12. I have to ask you ladies: do you tend to find because of the time for customs that you tend to make larger orders over all or does that cause other problems? I'd probably be more prone to stocking up with more stuff because it takes so long but I'm a hoarder by nature. I had to mail something to Canada for work and it was a pain in the rear to figure out how to mark it for customs because it was just a stupid dvd that our communications department had created. I was asked how much it was worth and I kept telling them nothing but good will. LOL It's not something we sell, it's a gift. Apparently, nothing is a gift according to customs. lol Is Mara limited in how much she can send you without there being issues?
  13. My daughter ordered a doll from Japan for her best friend's birthday. We ordered that thing weeks ago and she was so disappointed it didn't arrive before her friend left for a school sponsored Europe trip. I told her that's to be expected. Going through customs is what seems to take so long. Glad your BF wised up though because it sounds like he could have been just seconds from becoming a story on Lady V's PMS thread!!
  14. July 15th supposedly. Zingers and the orange cakes!! Woo hoo. Although if I could find any of LP's Darling Catalina/Clementine, I might forego a box. LOL So excited to see what's out this month. My cart list is ready. Just waiting to see what's new that I can't miss....
  15. Sno balls just aren't the same when not from Hostess. I've tried the knock offs... kind of gross. LOL Maybe Mara can create a line of Hostess inspired scents that also serves as a skinny potion. Instead of eating them all, we can just slather ourselves in their creamy, gooey fragrance.
  16. Maeia, you make having a Year of Rat scent sound so much more appealing!!! I like that much better than sewer with a smidge of cops. I have the pic though. Maybe we can CB as a phero because how can anyone resist a bottle that looks like this: I can't imagine how difficult it must be to wait. I've gotten stuff from other countries so I know that it takes quite awhile, I just didn't realize it could take that long even to Canada!!! I hope it arrives soon for you so we can hear all about it from you!! You must have the patience of a saint!!! And I agree about Mel's fire dragon ... that just sounds beautiful and powerful.
  17. It probably was the worst thing on the planet to eat, but I always loved how you could basically peel the frosting off the top and set it aside. I used to eat that last as a kid. However, now I look back and think... ok, what was in that stuff that you cold peel your frosting off like a sheet of paper? LOL
  18. I'm with you Eggers, I'm a water rat so I would envision like sewer smell with damp rat hair with some cops for that rotten fruit smell you might find down there. And Maiea, when I said my nose is wonky, I say that only because I'm not as good at being able to say yes, that's birch or yes, this is rosemary. I'm not that fine tuned yet. Yours is a gorgeous blend and that's what I meant. I just wanted to clarify because i didn't like the way that came out. LOL
  19. You still haven't gotten yours yet Maiea? Well, by time it comes it will have aged wonderfully I suspect!! I sneaked a sniff. I know I told you I'd wait but I couldn't help myself. I'd still rather here yours first though when it comes!!! ETA: Mostly I just don't want to tell you because then you'll have a preconceived idea of the scent from my wonky nose and I'd prefer you sniff it and see if it is the way you envisioned it would be. But I will say that it is lovely truly and your picture is perfect.
  20. Ok Luna... I just now got all happy and gooey inside thinking there was a possibility and then I realized (and I even looked on the site too)... oh wait... yep, those are GONE!!! You probably take away candy from babies too, huh? LOL ETA: Ok, I have to admit I have taken candy from babies. But only because it was a choking hazard. Chocolate melts much slower in a child's mouth... gotta be careful of that stuff.
  21. Oh heavens, a Twinkie pink rose scent sounds really good and having just finally tried Lace... that is like the perfect combo!!! I thought I was the only person who loved those!!! Those were gooooooood. Hostess had the best flavor. I grew up on Ding Dongs and Zingers - the raspberry ones!! Hmmm, anyone had a great LP scent that smelled like a raspberry zinger? I admit, although I read the list correctly, I still thought Frambuesa would smell like that. But a raspberry zinger... yum!!!
  22. Thanks Dolly for mentioning witch hazel. That's a really great idea to have a little pack in your purse to wipe off. I didn't know that would help wipe away pheros but makes complete sense and its good for you too!! And just as an afterthought, wiping off pheros obviously only covers that which is on your SKIN so if you have applied to your hair, you would also need to keep in mind that if you don't specifically wash your hair, the phero will still be lingering despite washing off wrists, neck, etc. Clothing as well. The small amount of cops in Cougar and Gotcha has not been an issue of smell at all so I have spritzed in my hair. In a situation where I felt uncomfortable in a certain environment, I would really reconsider doing that.
  23. to Chaionlife. My husband is 45 and usually kind of laid back, reserved. I've worn Compromising Positions and the Sexpionage definitely gave him some aggressiveness in the bedroom in the most delightful way. Plus, he's a sucker for custard!!
