I'm utterly confounded now because there seems to be a bit of mixed reports on the LP phero LE version. I don't think I had even a hint of vanilla in my LP LE version. I'll have to find the vial and check it again just to calm my own confusion.

On dry down, this was a lovely incense aroma on me, just like in a new age store that I went to ages ago. The store is long since gone, but I have good memories of it. The scent on me is a sweet vanilla incense. It's strange to smell it on me as perfume, but also comforting with good memories.

That's because I had wanted the sugared patchouli, I think. I wanted the less amped patchouli version for me. I am a huge fan of the sugared patchouli. Drier is the perfect way to describe it. I had thought softer, but drier really hits it on the nose. The less drier versions can amp up fiercely on me and sometimes go awry depending on age and what's in the blend I think. Meanwhile, I did order the C & J version and am looking forward to wearing it.

So there is a distinct fruitiness to it? Then I must have the LP phero amped LE.

So no fruity aroma? That's what I thought. Good to know I'm not that confused.

This one is very fruity on me. Ripe, sweet, dripping and succulent fruit. I'm thinking berries, cherries, and plums. I went back to the page for this one, and I'm wondering if I might have gotten PCMP instead of LP LE even though it's labeled LP LE because it's just super fruity, and I actually like it, but I don't think this is a *Love Potion* Anyone test this one yet? I'm sure I must have PCMP, which makes me want to order a bottle of that now while still making me curious of LP LE. EDITED on 2/6/09 after I shook the vial Okay, I've got the full effect now that I've taken off my dunce cap. There is a strong ripe fruit which I'm guessing is the apricot when I first put in on, but as it dries, the vanilla comes out and I'm getting a more apricot rich version of the original version of LP. It's very nice. I like the extra apricot. I can't speak of the pheros because BI has no effect on me, but the scent itself is lovely.

I would love this as a scent without the pheros if Mara made it. It's delicious!

Mmmm this one reminds me of Me, Jane without the pheros. Sweet banana tropical scent with maybe a bit of nuts in there. On me it's close to Me, Jane, which I love.

Ingredients: Honey, Cinnamon, Vanilla Dry: A rich and sweet honey with a sprinkling of cinnamon. The cinnamon is not in your face but light, just enough to remind you it's there, spicing up the honey. The cinnamon does seem to get a bit stronger after it's dried and some time passes. It evolves to a nice balance between honey and cinnamon with a faint aroma of vanilla. This one is really nice!

This is one of the rare florals that stayed floral on me. Very pretty and feminine with a tad of sweet. Sadly, my skin ate it up once it dried. But it was lovely while it lasted. Reminded me of spring in a garden.

This is definitely a rebrew.

The cinnamon and musk are subtle on me. Hints of them, but they're there.

Honeyed light patchouli, over sweet vanilla sugar. A softer, more gentle version of this popular combo! Ingredients: Honey, Vanilla, Patchouli (specifically sugared patchouli was what I requested, but basically I wanted a softer, sweeter scent that was reminiscent of LP Black) Wet - sugared patchouli, honey and a waft of vanilla Dry - Sugared patchouli and honey, very sexy yet not overbearing. Sweet with the teeniest hint of incense in the backdrop. One sniff and you want to sniff more. And the patchouli seems to be a bit magical where it gets a little stronger with time. So it won't be overpowering but it won't fade fast either. Lovely! This scent is for anyone who likes honey and a lighter patchouli that isn't too strong or incense like. The ladies absolutely nailed the scent I wanted. I can even imagine standing next to someone with this scent on and them leaning closer for another sniff. I LOVE THIS ONE!

I'm so excited that I went for the bottle of this on instinct because it's delicious! Wet - reminds me of pherogirl and sugared honeycomb - very similar to my nose and very delicious. I am a junkie for anything that's got a strong honey component to it. That's what I'm getting here while it's wet. Can't wait till it dries down. will edit and complete this when it's dry, but so far... Mmmmmm Dry - Honey and Honeycomb, hints of cinnamon and musk. A very sexy scent. On me it's reminiscent of pherogirl but the musk and cinnamon add to it's uniqueness and complexity in a very yummy way.

Do you know if it was the honey or could it have been another component? Are you allergic to honey?

Maybe we can have a few other ones to add into the mix!

Mara, I'm always excited to get private edition samples, as I'm sure everyone else is. Thank you so much for doing this. This is GREAT NEWS. And you most definitely did not mess with our plans for a decant circle. Actually, you might have just made it even better!!! There were samples we didn't have and some people felt badly that they didn't have samples. So this will probably give us a chance to try more and for even more people to contribute. Yes it could. I think I've only gotten one notice, maybe two and I've had probably five deliveries so far. So sometimes the system mucks up. I do always get an email saying it's preparing for shipping, but as for an actual notice that it's shipped, that's pretty rare.

The notices of shipment don't always come. Something wonky with stamps.com I think. I know I've had orders where I never got any notification from anywhere.

Mine shipped the day the private editions went up. Tuesday I think. I was hoping I'd get them for today or tomorrow, but monday isn't so bad. I usually get them within the week. I'm just not big on being patient for what I want.
