  1. I thought Christine's Friggin Awesome was like Breakfast in Bed and there wouldn't be any bottles... but there are. This makes me very, very happy.
  2. I'm just catching up one everything that's currently out. This week will probably have me caught up on all the ones I like and want to try. God help me when the new scents come out.
  3. I considered adding this to my arsenal but then I realized I'd probably end up being the one that blabbed the most. And I'm very good at keeping secrets and not telling things that I don't want people to know. So that was a very distinct downside of this one, plus, I'm not all that sure I want to hear what might come out of other people's mouths. The day I wear this would probably be the day I spent shellshocked.
  4. Ahhhh, the secret is out as to why the LP blends are so amazing! Historic patchouli!!!
  5. timessquareproductions@yahoo.com is their email address.
  6. It's a painful tragedy most especially for LPMP addicts like us. Is there a support group for something like this?
  7. Sorry you're still sick, SG. I hope you feel better soon. Green Tea anything always help me! Sammiches are good too. I hope that in the future you ladies can come up with a similar scent because this one was terrific and I think even a moderately similar one would be great.
  8. I have two bottles of that. I was wondering if this would be similar. That's a scent you don't need much of, that's for sure. Thanks for posting!
  9. And with just cause. Anyone who experienced that would haord. I hoard and I HAVEN'T. But any scent that I like and know is leaving is one I grab an extra bottle or two of. In the case of LP winter solstice 2008, I have 4 bottles and I think two vials. I had two bottles but when it came up on the endangered list with only four left, I grabbed another two. That's like crazy hoarding - beyond any normal level of hording to have four bottles, but what can I say? It's so yummy and soothing on me. A good go-to scent when I want to or need to relax.
  10. OMG! I almost wrote 'cinnamon roll' as part of the description! So at least I know I picked up on some of the key notes. This one is AMAZING!
  11. OMG!!! This was a small sample included in my order, and when I sniffed it in the vial, I knew I had to set aside time for it's own special test run because it smelled delicious. Not foody delicious, but deserving of its own time and day to sample delicious. Since I have no other information on this one yet, the best I can say is that I will DEFINITELY buy a bottle or two the instant it comes out. As for the scent itself, I'm fairly certain there's cinnamon in it or something that turns to a lovely cinnamon aroma on me. I'm thinking there may be some vanilla in it because I'm getting a subtle waft of something that's reminiscent of vanilla but it's becoming an underlying note on me. (I feel like a scent detective sniffing for clues!) Okay, it's dried, and the primary note I'm getting is very cinnamon like, so I'm going to say that this masterpiece (Yes, it's that awesome!) must have cinnamon in it. Either that, or whatever is in it turns to cinnamon on me - a sweet cinnamon that makes me want to sniff my arm forever. Quite possibly there's vanilla in it, but I got that scent more when it was wet. Now, I really can't tell too much other than there's something rounding out the cinnamon that gives it some added dimension. Also, my skin eats vanilla, so it's really hard to say. The cinnamon aroma seems to be getting a little sweeter and a tad creamier. Perhaps from a vanilla. Whatever it is, it's very light and slightly creamy, creating a subtle backdrop for the cinnamon aroma. The name certainly fits. I can't imagine any man wanting to leave you alone in bed when you're wearing this lovely number - unless it's to prepare breakfast in bed for you, which would only be his sneaky tactic to make sure you don't leave that bed, at least for a while. Now I'm curious to see how close I was in the aromas I smell. It reminds me of LP: Red, though I haven't worn that in ages. Wonderful job, ladies! This is a winner.
  12. I didn't get a hint of peach in there anywhere. It became a darker scent shortly after application and by drydown, if there was peach in there, and I missed it, I definitely couldn't smell it once it dried. It doesn't seem like it would be a darker scent, but it definitely became dark on me. Dolly, I was wondering if you would like this one, knowing that you like darker, resinous scents!
  13. This is a feeling I have experienced many times. Waiting for the packages is not easy, but we must hang in there and be strong. Back to the topic: I ordered a sample of this today because it sounded very enticing. I'm good when amber isn't a primary note, so I'm hoping this will be wonderful on me.
  14. Ingredients: COCOA ~ VANILLA ~ WALNUT ~ TEAK ~ MAHOGANY ~ PEACH ~ PATCHOULI ~ AMBER ~ APRICOT Wet: smells like a dark cocoa and dark vanilla with a slightly nutty undertone. Drydown: on me this one becomes dark and reminds me of scented incense. I'm getting a waft of patchouli and an aroma of walnuts, but I think it's mixing with teak and mahogany because it's like a nutty, woody smell. The cocoa and vanilla have faded like they're being pulled into the darkness. They're there, but I have to really try to sniff for them because the scent has veered toward a deep, rich resinous aroma that I'd smell upon entering a new age shop where they had burned incense frequently but it's not burning just then. The aroma is a residual - the history of days and years before hidden in the walls and fabrics. It's actually kind of fascinating and thoroughly surprising.
  15. Oh these scents are so so so much better than the mass produced ones. They have a very chemical overtone that you get right away - the mass produced ones, that is. That said, welcome to the crack den, coffeemama. Once you get started, no other perfumes will satisfy you like the good stuff here. <insert evil laugh>
  16. When I was applying eow with the dropper (the LS variety) I sure felt like that. I noticed guys looking at me very strangely. Then it occurred to me I saw giving off a major come do me vibe. So yeah, now Ill just put some drops in a bottle and maybe it's not much of anything they get, but better that than being a sex popsicle... unless I had a special guy, which for him, okay. But since I don't, I can do without the tons of sexy. Hints of it works way better for me - keeps me in my comfort zone and doesn't make them all crazy.
  17. Truer words were never written.
  18. Where's the best place to apply if I don't want them to have any effect on me? I'm trying to minimize any impact they have on me while still having an effect on others. I was thinking maybe the back of my neck or maybe a little in the ends of my hair when it's in a ponytail. Also kind of thinking about winter application now that I wear scarves, higher necklines and long sleeves. I'm not a turtleneck person, and if I wear a scarf, it's only around my neck for a short time while I'm outside. Back of neck maybe?

    UNE

That cat pee scent *might* be the copulins. Some people get skunk too. I forget what the other descriptions were, but suffice to say that the cops don't work for everyone. Sometimes the smell is too much for them. If you shook it at all, you probably had some cops in it. Definitely try it again.

When I first wore pherogirl, I didn't shake the bottle, and the scent was amazing. I wonder if that's what une smells like because if I didn't shake the bottle, then the cops were on the bottom and never mixed in. Hmmm?
  21. hmmm... I wonder which phero it has? It's just sitting there teasing us...
