Broke out the emergency card then put it away after ordering my samples.

I really want to place an order of samples, but as my card was illegally used and I needed to be issued a new one, I currently don't have one to use... actually I do, but I try to avoid using it. But this could be considered an 'emergency' right? I'm thinking yes... now where's that damn emergency card!!!

Now that I have a bit more knowledge, I think Scarlet Silk and the new LP LE are bottles. I'm not sure about hotness personified or scandalous yet. The others have florals that don't like my skin, but hey, two isn't bad and I won't feel so wildly guilty when I get them.

Voodoo Valentine, Scarlet silk, Moroccan night, the new LP LE, Hotness Personified and Scandalous are on my list. Now where is this place where we can order them because I can't find it.

If you don't like it you can trade or sell it in the trading forum. That's what some of us do. You can also try calling them and see if they can change it. I'm not sure if they do that anymore though. I can't remember if there was a post on it.

Drop your guard is more about feeling that relaxed state where you are comfortable with someone and kind of like you're closer to them. More of a bonding thing in my humble opinion. True Confessions is truth serum like. You're more chatting and open as well as those around you. I would say that True confessions has a stronger effect. I went with drop your guard for a comfort factor, but I've never been fond of the possibility that I or someone else could blurt out all sorts of things I'd rather not know.

It's those great names. How can we not! There are a couple I'll try to score in trade because I'm not sure they're for me just by the sound of them, but there are a bunch I really want to order samples of. I keep checking for a link to place an order for samples. It's terrible how impatient I am.

I have an order of CPS on the way (1oz from here - can be found and the bottom of the phero page) because it's supposed to help scents last longer and minimize absorption as well as keep them close to bottle scent. I can't wait to try it and see how it works.

I scored a vial of this in trade, not sure how I'd like it because Anisette didn't go well with my chemistry in Marley's Ghost. BUT Sogni Incantati was really wonderful on me. Creamy, sweet and a little hint of licorice that actually resembled a strangely spiced booze or at least that's the best I can describe it, but I really liked it, though I don't know that it would be a sleep time scent for me. I ended up going for a bottle of it.

No really. I can. Totally. Just as soon as they stop coming out with fabulous scents.

I promise after I get caught up on the older ones that are in the 3G list, I'm going to put myself on a budget. No really.

You too?! I keep checking the LPMP site looking to see if they've posted anything. There are a whole group here that tantalize me, and now that I've turned the darker corner away from foody scents toward richer and spicier ones, I'm so excited to see what treats we'll have since LP does rich scents pretty fantastically. I had decided I wasn't going to order much this round, but then they come out with these great labels and names and tease us until we can't wait to see what's in them and then I'm forgetting that I wasn't going to buy much because I have so many already. Mara and Danna, you're both marketing geniuses! By the time you post all the juicy details, we're all in a frenzy to buy them. It makes it so much more fun to look forward to the details and then the samples and bottles.

And there was just a ton of conversation to get Scandalous back in another thread that I can't remember the name of. How's that for timing? I guess it is all about intent!

Last month the descriptions came within the week, a few at a time, probably because it takes some work to set up the links and pages with the images and descriptions (since they are in several places - samples page, main perfume page, and home page with the scrolling images). I think the samples order page was first having more information about them (not all the info on what's in the blends but basic descriptions). The last pages up if I remember correctly were the individual pages for each scent with all the information about them.

That's the hardest part... waiting for the descriptions. About 3/4 of them are on possible list right now because I can eliminate certain ones right off based on names or pheros included. The rest are looking tempting. Since I have an order on the way with last month's samples, I'll get some new samples from this month and some bottles from last based on what I love. I think I've finally got a system!!!

Oh they look terrific! I'm excited to read the descriptions and what scents are in them. I still have last months to test. So this will really keep me busy! Lovely job ladies!

It's so sad when we love a scent but it doesn't meld well with our chemistry, isn't it? This one, for some reason works wonderfully for me, though it doesn't last as long as I'd like. Probably 3 hours but for me it's a bedtime soothing scent so I don't mind that. I expect different things from daytime vs bedtime scents. If the fruit doesn't work for you, maybe something creamy with the love potion key notes minus the fruit might work better for you. Something that has some staying power on you, too. I'm thinking a custom sugared blend might be something that would work well for you. Can you identify what scents you like about this one the most and put them together into a custom sugared?

December 17th was when the last releases were posted - pictures mostly then within days descriptions. So probably within the next week we'll start seeing January releases. Especially since they just posted the 3G update.

I'm still waiting to test a bunch from the last new batch. There's just no keeping up with it. Nope. I give up.

Oh how I long for my sample to arrive. Dang mercury retrograde.

If it were me, I'd place another order But I always place another order. I think Mara and Danna have learned to wait a week before sending mine because usually I do 2-3 orders within a week's time. I'll order something and then test something that they sent or that came in from swaps and decide I want that too. And then I'll decide I want a second bottle of something and maybe a sample I can't get in trades. So this keeps happening until almost a week passes and then I'm done. I was going to be a good girl this time and wait till my orders and trades got here and then I was going to do one big order, but they did their update so I had to snag bottles... it's all really very logical and completely compulsive.

This scent was delicious! Friggin Awesome is the perfect name. It's sweet but not overly or foody sweet. All I remember is that I loved it and that my skin did kind of eat it, not totally as I could still smell it faintly after a few hours. Some vanillas and sugars are ones my skin just devours. But this was delicious. The fig was really very pleasant. Sometimes fig goes wonky on me, but this one was perfect and the blend was very balanced, never veering into the zone of too sweet or too foody or too anything IMHO. I'll do another test again soon. Right now I'm wearing patchouli oil so I won't be able to give an accurate description with patchouli running the show.
