  1. Haha, well, I do have a bottle (or two... possibly three!) of Exotica with Gotcha, which I also love very much. That is more of a dark, evening-scent though; this is much more light and innocent!
  2. I had a sample of this in my stash, and I can't remember if I ever tried it.... It is *gorgeous*!! It reminds me a lot of LP Pink, but with some nice, fresh flowers added; florals tend to get a bit screechy on me, but this one just melts into my skin until I feel like a lush, fresh - actually, I mistyped that as 'flesh', so let's go with that; a lush, fleshy, gorgeous, dewy flower! Got some sweets hits from it as well; the flower guy gave me a 6th plant for free with the 5 that I bought, and then someone else struck up a conversation when I walked home through the park, complimenting me on my (very long) hair (he himself was shaved bald, which suited him very well). Cute guy, we chatted for a few minutes, then I went on my way again. He was at least 20 years younger than me... Seriously, what is it with people asking me if I'm a student?? I am nearly 50, peri-menopausal, rather overweight at the moment, and my hair is around 50% grey.... I was wearing a long, hugely oversized cotton dress (all my clothes were getting too tight and uncomfortable, but with this dress I was overcompensating a bit) and 'granola' sandals, no makeup, etc. I live close to the university & student housing, they are everywhere here, and I do Not look like a student - more like a student's mom!
  3. This is very nice and sweet and warm; it is light, but has great staying power. After about 15 or 20 minutes it becomes all maple on me - which I don't really mind because I love maple. I think it will be lovely and cozy to wear in early autumn!
  4. I am such a phero lightweight, I tend to use very tiny amounts... If I wanted to slather Cougar I might have to get it in UN, since none of the scents so far are ones I can slather. Hmmm, I don't think this was one of the samples I got during Pheromas, drat. Will keep it in mind, thanks! It's lovely! Aja has become my go-to sweeten-upper for stuff.
  5. Yay, finally a scent with Cougar that works for me! It starts out a little too green perhaps, which made me wary; rather sharp and floral. But fortunately, after only a few minutes, the earth note comes out to play and it nicely grounds the whole scent; the green aspect mellows out a little bit and I'm left with something that is lovely and fresh and invigorating. Kind of sparkly, very clean smelling; still green, but not as sharp anymore. If I want to sweeten it up a tad, I sometimes add a small touch of Aja, which makes it slightly more exotic somehow. Haven't really noticed any phero effects yet (and never did before in any of the other Cougar stuff I've tried); perhaps I'm not congruent with the phero? Which would be ironic, because I do tend to go for younger men... Anyway, this scent works well enough to my skin to wear regardless of pheros.
  6. Oh wow, gorgeous, beautiful, and SO intrigueing!!! I'm curious about the notes too of course, but I'm seeing a handful that I'm going to get regardless of which notes they have. Might have to try and pop out a firstborn to sell first though....
  7. LP pink is a great choice - it's my favorite spring/summer scent.

Ow, what a pity!! Your description made me laugh though, it's about the opposite of what it smells like on me.
  9. I know exactly what you mean! It's February and pretty cold so no bees in sight yet - I've been wearing it a lot lately (layering it with other scents usually) but I think I will take it out of rotation for a bit during the summer months.
  10. This is extremely light on me; lovely, but very very light. It's like fresh tea with just the merest hint of something sweet; a single cherry blossom, perhaps. I really like it, but I had to use about half the sample vial to actually smell it - and I'm not normally a slatherer, rather the opposite. I made sure to put some on the collar of my shirt and the edge of my bra as well and while almost unperceptible, the smell did linger throughout the day, giving me tiny subtle whiffs of it every now and again. The phero worked fantastically though! It made me and everyone I came into contact with cheerful and friendly and relaxed and helpful. Great stuff! I may have to get a bottle of UN next month or so, if I can manage it.
  11. D'oh, of course! Thank you! Very good term for this scent, too; it's a sort of sweet, soft, languid fuck on your skin. It's luvely!
  12. Darn not being able to search three letter words... What is an 'slf' scent?
  13. This is lovely and rosey in the sample vial, but on my skin in goes a bit strong and pointy - might be a case of travel shock though, I'm going to have to try again in a little while.
  14. Whohoooo, looks like my January samples have shipped!!! We've been having lots of wind (and rain) here the last couple of weeks - hopefully they'll blow the package quickly this way!
  15. OT, but Ferret I love your ferret avatar so! Sleeping ferrets are just the cutest (and, unlike awake ones, rarely get up to mischief... ;-) That's the trouble with three letter names like Aja, the search engine doesn't take them.
  16. Ah, but I don't feel bitchy at all - I'd feel quite cheerful and lighthearted, and just say some bitchy things off the cuff! Tis a mystery. I haven't worn it for a few weeks now, didn't really seem appropriate for the season. I might just skip wearing it for a few more weeks, see if anything has changed after that. Altought the mean reds struck hard this year, so even if it's bitchy, any kind of cheerfulnes sounds pretty good right now....
  17. Oh wow, the stories and descriptions are terrific!!! Too many lovely ones - sampler ordered. I hope the apple doesn't take over Punxsutawney Immortality Elixir, apple can be iffy on my skin....
  18. Hmm, I've just received the shipping notice for my last order - and the partial refund (the shopping cart is a bit overenthousiastic when it comes to international shipping) for the too-high shipping would go some way towards at least a couple of samples...
  19. Hi NattyDread! I don't have Charisma (I'm a woman) but Perfect Match is one of my favorite pheros. I'd be happy to send you a sample. You can contact Halo (the LPMP customer service person) to arrange an email-address exchange, so you can send me your address.
  20. Yum, this is such a favorite!! And, even though I can't smell a trace of the cops, it's really really effective... It's such a warm, comforting scent. I can smell the dough, the raisins, it's like walking into a kitchen where lovely things have been baking and you open the oven and you get a blast of heat and scent - wonderful, especially for this time of year. It's rather strong and lasts well on my skin so I only need a little bit. During the day it morphs slightly, gets a little bit less like fresh dough and more like fresly baked goods. A really logical progression basically! It's probably one of the most foody scents I have, but it also combines well with a more sheer fragrance, grounding it and warming it. And the name, of course, it endlessly amusing!
  21. Ooooh, those look fantastic! Such a cheerful-making collection. Drat, but my budget is already gone for the month.....
  22. I am not a Pink Person AT ALL (I don't really get along with Occo Pink for instance... ) but this is still one of my favorite scents ever - just SO good and cheerful, and not too pink, if you know what I mean. Just get a sample vial to start with?
  23. Weird, I thought I had reviewed this - but I guess not. I bought a full bottle unsniffed based on the notes... And also because of the adorable guy on the label. (Edit: also, I was hoping for something vaguely like Aloha Pumehana, which I have only a horded trial vial of but that I absolutely adore!) I've only used some of my trial vial so far though, because it turns a bit weird on my skin; sadly, I don't get any cocoa butter or any fruits or florals. It is very difficult to describe: the scent on my skin is quite strong, not unpleasant, but not like perfume at all. There is something 'hard' about it, almost like a metal - not at ALL what I expected! Still, the Lumina seems to work really well for me (a great female social) so I've been experimenting with sweetening it up a little bit. My next order will probably contain some sweet/vanilla sample vials, but for now I've discovered that a swipe of Aja on the spot where I put the Pherodise works really well. It makes it nice and sweet, and the Pherodise adds a bit of depth and grounding to the Aja. Lovely combination!
  24. Weird, innit? But somehow the effects are so odd (and the scent so lovely) that I can't seem to leave it alone; I've probably worn it more than any other single scent in the last few weeks.
  25. I haven't had any noticeable phero hits off this one either (I don't really get them with Bang! either; BI though tends to be a great social for me, makes me feel perky and chatty and draws people - mostly women though, alas - to me like flies. Very very talktative flies....). But I don't really mind because I love the scent so much! It's soft and sweet and sultry and seductive, but still playful at the same time - one of my all time favorites.
