  1. I really had to restrain myself from going full bottle on Lantern!  I hope there’s some left after I try the trial size.  I had it in my cart TWICE, but ultimately decided there were too many I might also like, and I just wouldn’t know until I tried them ALL!

None of them are ones I’d automatically write off, but I know from sad past experiences that anything with maple or patchouli is likely not going to work out for me.

A big surprise was Beewitched. I’d assumed it was a pink sugar kind of scent, which is not something I’m normally drawn to.  As it turns out, it  has potential of going from a “maybe” to a love.

Now I can transition from obsessively checking the forum for updates, to checking my email for the email notification we all want to see.  Cataluna has sent you a package!

  2. I went with the trial vial collection for fall/winter 2021.  Other than Lantern, I’m most curious about Beewitched, Hemwicke and Holliday.  I was happy to see that Beewitched has rose in it.  I grow roses, love the scent of every variety I’ve ever sniffed, but have found very few rose perfumes that I like enough to wear.  I remember trying Dominance from the permanent collection, and did like it, but the phero isn’t one that works for me.

    I’m excited!   :heart0974: :perfume:

  3. Me!  It, I figure if Mara said by end of weekend late, and she meant late her time, it’s going to be way past midnight for us on the east coast.

  4. @citrine  I second the applause for @Eastwood22.  What a catch!  Although no clue as to notes, unless PotionMaster was also saying gunpowder desert trees and sage (cactus flower maybe?)

@Vika, my dad’s side of the family hailed from Valdosta GA, so its certainly possible, if not ‘likely’.    Valdosta GA  is where Holliday spent much of his childhood, and part of his adult life. So much folk lore that may have been actual family history, tends to  get lost as generations fade away.

  5. I wondered that too, @greenappletart  I’d also thought tres leches, but it didn’t seem to fit.

@Eastwood22  you caught the spelling difference! I am  so impressed. I sure didn’t notice it. Supposedly I have two distant relatives  who traveled out west with Doc Holliday. My aunt (long departed now) had some crazy family history stories she would tell  me.   She was 11 years older than my dad (his sister) and he would be 96 if he was still living.    I never knew if it was true or not.

  6. You guys are so much better at this than I am!  If @Vika is right, then that’s super duper clever haha.  Marigolds?  They are  the only district scent I can think of associated with that holiday, but then I know very little about it, other than what it is called, and when it falls.

PS  Could Rite have incense notes…

Lantern continues to interest me the most so far…

  7. Sweet leaf could have tea accords, or an actual leaf that smells sweet, such as fragrant tea olive or Katsura.  I actually have a tea olive in my online shopping cart.  There’s a nursery I am hooked on shopping from   Problem being I don’t need another shrub, and hence why it continues to reside in the cart

  8. Well, okay, if there’s more than one earthy scent, then perhaps Holiday has earth in it. The setting is a cemetery after all.  I don’t see any snow, so probably not crisp cold with pine or evergreen leaves, but maybe resins dried leaves?  Lol I’m so clueless.

I’m still pondering Lantern.   Yeah, I was pretty sure kerosene wouldn’t be involved. But no smoke or beeswax either?  Illumination huh…

There's no Autumnal Equinox or LP variant in this collection.

That explains my failure to find it 🙂

Beewitched could be a pink type fragrance with honey?

Creme Cake just what it sounds like?  Cream, cake accords and vanilla?

Holiday looks stark and cold.  I would have guessed earthy, due to the setting, but I guess Woodland Creatures is the earthy one.

Could Lantern have smoke, or beeswax?  I think lanterns are more likely to be fueled with  kerosene, hoping this isn’t a note.
I really love the look of Lantern  and sure hope it’s a fragrance I’ll like.   It’s time for  me to find a new love (in perfumes)

I like the type font chosen too.  It’s an intriguing collection.

  10. These are GORGEOUS!!!  Could Bonflower of Autumn have flowers that bloom in autumn?  At first I though dried flowers, but there are some very fragrant autumn bloomers.  A variety of dianthus that smells similar to cloves, (I think it’s called  firewitch but there’s a fairy on the label instead of a witch).  And daphne which is a spicy jasmine scent.

I’ll order Lantern, for the label and BI.  It’s already calling me 🙂. The LP isn’t a Mucha this time.  I’m trying to figure out if it’s an interpretation of one of his works…

Oh, and could   Infusion be a new version of Blud?

  11. I’m hoping for something that has Classy  Dame or Charisma 4W,  or LFM, also Cuddle Bunny. I’ve never worn  CB much.   Honestly though, a “Mara Creation”  that doesn’t have patchouli or maple would be fabulous.  In many ways I prefer virgin versions that can have an UN phero of choice added to it.

I think it would be cool if @Potion Master presented a collection as an entrees menu, but instead of wine pairings, she’d offer phero suggestions for each.

  12. Silicone is no longer offered by LPMP I don’t believe.

    DPG is oil.

If you have perfume by LPMP and it is in a roller bottle, then it is oil (dpg).  You can follow the directions posted earlier in this thread if you want to turn an oil based perfume into a spray. The ratios of alcohol to oil are listed above.

Silicone and alcohol will not mix. It will turn cloudy, and need to be shaken each time before applying.

    Here are some helpful links

Read carefully what PotionMaster wrote in the links below. Everything you’re asking about is there.

Lastly,  both the forum site, and the online store for LPMP have gone through upgrades, and complete new builds. Therefore, some older links no longer work.

  13. @citrine Man, I feel for you! How abhorrent!

I wish you all of the  strength, and communication resources that dwell within you,  and the awareness to remember they are there to draw on, for your ordeal tomorrow.

Whichever pheromone works to  instill  confidence.  It’s going to be an emotionally charged situation for you.  Being confident and resolute is going to calm you.
