  1. Don't worry! To the rest of the world this behaviour may seem odd, rude or neurotic, but for all of us LPMP addicts I can promise you it's ABSOLUTELY 100% COMPLETELY & UTTERLY NORMAL I daresay most of us addicts would stop at pretty much nothing to keep our prescious treasures safe & away from grabbing/thieving hands
  2. I'm so excited about Sogni coming back I don't even know how to put it into words!!! Yay! The rest looks great too though but for me Sogni will definitively be the star of the show
  3. I was getting almost excited about this one. It's one of the very, very few honey based scents that I can wear without smelling like old unwashed ass. Don't get me wrong, this one to my nose doesn't smell great on me, but the ass-note stays in the back ground, and when layered with someting like Pie in the Sky, or Bridgids Amber, it's almost nice....almost So given that I only get a touch of ass with this one I figured that Mr Scrumptious would love it. I've tried it twice now....Once on its own (with no effect or response at all), and once layered. I literally showed my wrist where I had applied a touch of it as well, under his nose & asked him what he thought. His response was a shrug of his shoulders & "yeah, it's not bad".... WHat's wrong with the man? Isn't he supposed to love it when I smell like ass eh?? Maybe I need to pull out the Jouir de!
  4. Nah, couldn't be... Not again, and not with 20 new releases surely. I bet it's better than that... I bet Dana is making a guest comeback with some of her amazing GGG potions
  5. I don't get any Ylang either. I had a bottle of Taxed but in that I could definitively smell the ylang, and it was a quite sharp & almost tangy note. I just get luscious musky vanilla with this one though
  6. I need to do a proper review of this one but I don't have time just yet. I've had nice hits in general with this (looks, compliments, extra attention etc) but for some reason seems to affect on of the surgical registrars like crack! Seriously, it hits him like a nuclear reaction LOL It's hillarious. I'll give all the details but this Italian reg is well known for being hard core, and I don't mean that in a kinky way. He's an absolute machine when it comes to work...but when I wear LFM he's running after me like a puppy dog I'm on call with him this weekend and I'm having an absolute ball...he's like a puppet on a string LOL Never seen phero's affect a guy like this before Anywho....will fill you all in after the weekend
  7. If I want to order ONE?? One? Mara, you so fuuuunnnniiiiii......
  8. YES!!! YES!!! If there is a Round 2 of this one, then I definitively need a bottle of Sky's Chocolate!
  9. OMG, they all sound amazing! I have to get all of them! WHEN??? WHEN??? WHEN??? But, but.... you will surely explain to them the extent of our addiction and that they do need to reserve a big part of the stock for LPMP Forumites/addicts right? Please? I mean, what if all the plebs out there outside the LPMP world go & clean them out before we get the chance??
  10. You didn't miss me out for the Black Forrest Cake did you?? Sniff.....
  11. I can't really afford this at the moment but never mind....I'll deal with that problem later LOL Can I please have 1 of the bottles of Black Forrest Cake
  12. OMG! I've got to get some of Skye's Chocolate I've been toying with the idea of requesting a chocolate PE for quite a while now

    Hanagumori

Mmmmm.....Maybe not (the surprise bit I mean). I applied it on the back of my hand, and I had washed my hands just a few minutes earlier. My skin is beyond dry so it probably ate it up. I'll try it tomorrow after my regular slathering in body oil
  14. This one is amazing! It was another unexpected surprise of this months new releases. I wasn't expecting much from it but it's absolutely gorgeous. Very classy & sophisticated scent that on me dries down to the most luscious vanilla with a musky base. I'm so going to need a full bottle of this! Or two!

I was really curious initially about this scent as violets are one of the few florals that I like, but I was weary of the orchid/lotus flower because I just don't like powdery scents, especially powdery florals. I can see how others do, and I appreciate the light, delicate & very feminine vibe they give off, but it's just not a Rosebud scent. Anywho....I was going to just put this on my trading post after sniffing the vial. All I got was powdery soft florals, but I thought I'd give it a go "just for shits & giggles". Initially it was powdery floral, but after just a few minutes that note faded & out came my beloved violet. Not a strong violet scent like my all time violet fave OCCO Purple, but definitively violets And it's on a lovely base of vanilla & amber. It does fade fairly quickly unfortunately but I still really like it. I'm thinking I might use this vial to add scent to a spray mini-bottle of La Femme Mystere, with a drop or two of OCCO Purple to add a touch more oouumpf to the violet
  16. I was just going to dismiss this one as a "Totally not a Rosebud scent"...but then I saw your post LOL Honey goes rank on me, and I can smell the ass in this just by sniffing the vial. I think I might give it a go this weekend tho, just a few dabs to see how Mr Scrumptious reacts to it. He has no sense of smell anyways so if I think I smell like ass he'll probably love it
  17. I was scared of this one because of the incense, which I tend to amp to nauseating levels, but I don't get any incense from this at all. Initially when wet I do get quite a prominent note of coffee. It's not a "girly chat over a cup of Starbucks" type coffee scent....it's proper sexy dark & rich expresso. It reminds me of the coffee I'd get in the tiny local cafee's way off the tourist tracks in Greece. I don't get any smoke or incense though (luckily). Other than the coffee, I also get spices, predominantly clove, but there are others in the mix too. It takes me back to my childhood, and to me there is only one way of summarizing this scent; CHRISTMAS. It's what it smells like to me... These spices we use a lot around Christmas time in Sweden. We use cloves & oranges alot for christmas decorations ( http://beasbokhylla.blogg.se/2010/december/en-doft-av-apelsin-nejlika-och-kanel.html ) so the house around Christmas smells of spices, and around dinner time also of strong coffee Once dried down the coffee note goes and I'm left with the spices
  18. This one is a lot like The Good Witch on me, except the raspberry in this one is just a touch brighter/juicier & just a bit more "true to life" (the raspberries in this one smell just like the real thing on me). I also get a more vanilla in The Good Witch than I do from this one. The Rasperry Chiffon is less vanilla and more whipped cream on me I think. I don't get any lemon at all.
  19. Hmmm.... not sure if I love this or don't like it at all When initially applied, I get the yummy pancake scent, but it has a rather odd top note that I can't really define. It's not a note that dominates, but it's definitively noticeable. All I can say to describe it is "greasy and slightly sharp" so I'm guessing this is the bacon part? After drydown I get a yummy & snuggly scent which to me smells like french toast & a bit of maple syrup
  20. Heart & Soul, or Empathy Potion I've found are really good for trust and connecting with people. I use them a lot at work, and they are both great when dealing with patients
  21. If you don't love it then I'm always happy to trade for it It's one of my snuggle bedtime scents
  22. How does it compare to The Good Witch? Is it more raspberry than smooth cream/vanilla or the other way around?
  23. I keep putting this in my basket & then not ordering. I love the sound of it, but I'm scared of the resin/s in it
  24. @PM, I don't mind general questions or hypothetical scenarios. Just as long as everyone understands that all I can offer is "an educated opinion" in these discussions. Legally I can't offer any specific medical advice or diagnose anything as being in a virtual environment I wouldn't have actually personally seen or examined the person in question, and without that you don't have enough to form a diagnosis or suggest specific medical management. In terms of your question....it depends on what the actual definition of "heart patient" is for the individual. Being a "heart patient" is an umbrella term that covers a huge spectrum of conditions, all of which can also have different ranges of severity. So, basically someone who takes tablets for well controlled mild or moderate hypertension (high blood pressure) is a heart patient....but so is the person with stage 4 heart failure who is chronically so out of breath they can hardly cope to walk 10 feet to the toilet, and who takes 6 or 7 different heart medications several times a day just to stay alive. Basically, there is no yes or know answer to your question. Although using testosterone supplementation doesn't cause heart problems directly (i.e if a person doesn't have any heart problems before starting testosterone they won't develop these problems), but there are some studies that show that patients who have pre-existing heart disease who take testosterone, have a higher risk of developing cardiovascular problems. There are some studies that show that the risk of developing cardiovascular problems (eg. heart attack or stroke) is almost 4 times higher in those that have pre-existing heart disease compared to those without heart problems. Having said that though, those studies didn't define the exact nature of the pre-existing heart problems, so it's difficult to assess for individual patients if it's worth the risk. If for example all the patients in the studies have heart failure, or have had cardiac stents fitted for narrowing of vessels in the heart, then they would already be at high risk of developing further problems, and you can't compare a patient population like that with a person who only has mild hypertension. If on the other hand the patients in the studies all had relatively minor pre-existing heart disease then, that increased risk that was seen is a lot more important to be cautious of. So, to make a long story short. In my opinion, a person with pre-existing heart disease shouldn't start testosterone supplementation on their own. They should only do so after having been assessed by their heart doctor, and whilst being under their supervision. IF the doctor and the patient both agree that their pre-existing heart problems are minor enough for it to be reasonable to say that the symptoms experienced without testosterone supplements are so bad that it over-rides not wanting to treat due to the possibility of there being an increased risk of further serious heart problems occuring. Clear as mud?
