  1. Viddy, sweety..... That's NOT normal. And managing this level of pain by popping pills that numb down who you are & how you interact with people isn't adequate medical management. Accepting a certain level of side effects when taking medications as a compromise to reducing the unwanted symptoms is fine, but "feeling more like a rock than human" and having no libido goens beyond what you should accept in terms of side effects. You need to get thee to a proper doctor, and by that I mean a gyno doc, not your general practitioner. Quality of life is soo important, and that involved more than just being pain free...
  2. A few hours? Whhaaaaaat? But, it's almost 10pm here....a few hours will make it the middle of the night... I've got an early start tomorrow morning so I can't stay up for much longer Everyone else will get a head start on me sniff.....This darn time difference ain fair I tell ya!
  3. I'm not getting it, but if I'm not mistaken it's a good sign yes? Mara uploading goodies?
  4. I was really surprised with this one. I was expecting a scent very similar to the original Sweet Winter Chai, but with the spice notes softened by marshmallow. I got something entirely different.... Nothing but marshmallow...zip, zilch...Not even a hint of spice or chai What's up with that eh??
  5. No, not yet I don't think But soon, I hope....soon
  6. The link between Testosterone levels & depression is not really new knowledge in the medical world, but the use of testosterone supplements to treat depression (amongst other things) is still considered quite new as it's only been around for about 10 years or so. 10 years may sound like a long time but in terms of development of new treatments, proving safety & obtaining FDA approval etc, it's really not long at all. Because testosterone supplementation is still considered a "new therapy" not all countries, or doctors have come on board and started prescribing it. In the UK & Europe it's more commonly used/prescribed than in the States I think. It's not only used for men either. In the UK there are also low-dose testosterone patches that are prescribed for women with low testosterone levels. Personally I think it's quite strange that the concept of testosterone supplementation is still not fully recognised as "proper medical treatment" by some doctors. It's a well known fact that testosterone levels decline with age, in some faster than in others. Similarly the influence of testosterone levels on mental health & over-all wellness (cognitive ability, weight, libido, vitality/energy etc) is a well established medical fact proven by years & years or rigorous research. So why is it that with women, menopause & hormonal imbalance, medical treatment with HRT for example, is completely accepted by doctors & practised on a daily basis? Why is it that supplementing & correcting imbalances in hormone levels is considered the obvious thing to do when the patient in front of you is female, but when the patient is male the same treatment concept (ie supplementing with hormones) is no longer the obvious choice. Doesn't make any sense to me... Here's a few interesting articles about testosterone, the links to mental health etc, and the use of testosterone supplements; http://ajp.psychiatryonline.org/article.aspx?Volume=160&page=105&journalID=13 http://jcp.sagepub.com/content/45/2/177.abstract?ijkey=2ddf165fbbfcfa9755a9b9a5091a4f7a77d2a96f&keytype2=tf_ipsecsha http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2004/11/041123115913.htm http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/15084139 http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/17178554
  7. LOL Is that a challenge? I will put up a fight ya know I may have to get the emergency credit card out though because I don't have a lot of cash at the moment. Lots of unexpected expenses lately including a new member to the Rosebud/Mr Scrumptious clan (no ladies, not a baby....not yet) I'll explain in my journal
  8. Yeah, I'm sure Lady V will try & hoard as much as she can, but I dare say I'm just as bad as she is LOL
  9. I have no scientific literature to back this up with but I personally believe PCOS potentially could have an impact, depending on the severity of the condition. For someone with mild PCOS where the natural hormone levels aren't that abnormal I don't think it makes much difference, but if you have moderate or severe PCOS it must have an effect. If your Testosterone levels are too high, and your Oestrogen very low or non-existant, and/or you either have few/random ovulation or none at all, then I don't see how a "normal dose of cops" would be enough to bring about sufficient response. Personally, I've been on HRT for my PCOS for 2 years, prior to that I was on Oestrogen supplements taken together with anti-androgen medication for about 5 years. I'm 34 now, and I've never had a problem with OD'ing on cops. On the contrary, I usually slather myself. I haven't noticed anything different with the purely social phero's but I have noticed now that I my own Testosterone levels are a bit higher again since I no longer take the anti-androgens (which antagonises male hormones like Testosterone), the lads at work don't react well at all to me wearing the more "bossy" phero's like Dominance, Leather or Swimming with Sharks. I think it gives me a too masculine phero signature, because they get really arsy & snappy with me...and competitive, they really treat me like a bloke! I do work in a very male dominated environment but they tend to behave differently when they interact with other males compared to when they interact with females. When I wear phero's like Lace with cops, Cuddle bunny or Empathy potion on the other hand, they act completely different. They treat me like a woman, but not in a doting "save the damsel in distress" type way. They treat me like their equal, with respect but without making me "one of the guys". I never used to wear cops at work, but I've noticed that the men around me react better when I wear mixes with cops. I don't slather whilst at work so I think it just adds "a normal level" of cops for the phero signal rather than an overtly sexual one. With Mr Scrumptious I slather myself in cops though...but that's for an alltogether different purpose LOL Oh, and btw....Vitex (agnus castus) is really good. It's one of a couple of different herbs that work beautifully to normalise hormone levels. There is a lot of scientific research that show that they often are just as effective as prescription hormone medications. http://www.pcosmatters.com/pcos-natural-treatment/agnus-castus-and-pcos http://www.bmj.com/content/322/7279/134.full http://www.pamf.org/health/healthinfo/index.cfm?A=C&hwid=hn-2181002
  10. Ooohhhh...!! Well put! This is soo true! And the reasonb why I love both Lace & Cuddlebunny. Lace is one of my everyday staple phero's but CB is reserved for when I get to see my Mr Scrumptious. And boy does it work on him, he gets really touchy feely, and snuggly. Yes, he is a cuddly guy anyways, but CB brings it out of him big time. I've worn Velvet Kisses quite a bit lately & when he comes home after work he always pulls me close for a hug & sniff of my neck. A few times now when I've worn CB he's literally taken the BB out of his pocket with one hand, the other still around me, and called his mates to say he wont be coming down to the pub for the pint after work I don't usually tag along to the pub because it's a lads thing & they talk about work, plus I usually use it as my chance to have a luuurvely bubble bath with candles & Mara's wax melts... But I don't mind missing my bubble bath every once in a while
  11. Welcome to the forum, I'm sure you'll love it here. Before I start, just a li'll comment.... We are a really friendly community of virtual girlfriends (with a few lads that join in from time to time), and in terms of personality where dating/lovelife is concerned we probably have representatives from the "quite conservative" end of the spectrum all the way to the more "risqu'e & uninhibited"...though I dare say, most of us lean towards the more uninhibited end My point is, you don't ever have to feel like you have to explain or justify your actions etc. Unlike a lot of other forums (NOT naming any names ), we are a very close-knit, supportive & most of all non-judgemental forum. So again.... welcome to our lovely online haven/community of virtual friends For this I'd try something like Lace. It gives you a sparkly & feminine vibe. If you want something to add a bit of oumpf to you as well you can try Leather. It'll give you a feminine vibe & boost your self confidence. Another very good all rounder is Open Windows. Makes you very approachable, and puts everyone in a good mood. And Popularity Potion is a good ole fave too For first dates Lace again is a very good one. Gives you that sparkly and feminine vibe without being to overtly sexual. Open windows is another good one, or Lumina I absolutely ADORE Empathy Potion..... Love it to bits! That one and Heart & Soul are fabulous for bonding with love & attraction thrown in the mix One word....Audacious It makes you feel like Vava-voom lol Another great one is Bang That's individual. I have loads of scents that I've had boosted with pheros but I also have the UN-pheros that I use to layer with or to mix my own perfume & phero mixes with. Again it's individual. Some phero's are great as oil as they do really well with the slow diffusion, others work better as sprays. The silicone is a good compromise, sort of half-way between oil & spray. You just have to try them in different forms and see what works for you. If you find that oil or silicone isn't working then just get the bottles pre-loaded with perfumers alcohol and convert them to sprays
  12. I'm in! I'm always up for a bit of stalking LOL Plus, I'm on call from now & through to Jan 2nd so I'll need somehting to be doing during those (unfortunately quite rare) quieter times at night Can't think of anything better to do than to browse the forum & do some stalking
  13. Oh My God!!! Rosebud is in luuuurve...... That's all I'm gonna say. I can't review this because worse can't do this scent justice. May's Dessert Dream has moved right up there to my top 3 along with Special Delivery & Constant Cravings. If anyone has any to spare I'll trade generously for a bottle
  14. It's usually something we recommed new mothers avoid, at least the first few months or so, so that you bond with your baby using the pheromones you naturally produce, to help you baby bond to your own natural phero signal. As far as I know there's no research that has shown that using phero's near babies would in any way be harmful to them, it's just about not upsetting the natural bonding process. Not sure that's as important when talking about your sisters baby though as you'd have a lot less interaction with her child than one of your own...and she'd be the one needing to establish that close bond with the child anyways
  15. I tried this over the weekend. I put a sample of Bridgid's Amber in 1/2 of the spray bottle. Mr Scrumptious loves the scent, but he went mad for the phero He was crazy horny LOL I've noticed that he responds a lot more/better to the softer more "lovey dovey" bonding phero's, especially if there's lots of EST in it. Cops alone don't seem to do much for him though but the combo of the two..... I guess that's why he went nuts for Bang
  16. I love this one And Mr Scrumptious looooves this one too Tried it this weekend & he reacted to it as he usually reacts to CB. Horny & snuggly at the same time. The actual "bedroom business" is more intimate & connected, not just heavy & horny I'm not sure Mr Scrumptious have the best olfactory senses though....he thought I smelled like creamy, sexy honey Not sure where he got honey from, on me it's all rich chocolate & creamy golden caramel. If he only knew honey smells rank on me
  17. Well since it's for V-day I'm guessing we'll need at least 1 chocolatey scent?? How about Willy Wanker & the Fudge Packer Factory Or somethin a li'll bit romantic... A Midsummer Night's Cream? George in Her Jungle? (a rebrew of MeJane maybe?) Brave Tart? Done in 60 Seconds? Oh... Or for some of you who love "da ductape"... Sex, Lies & Ductapes Bumpin Donuts? A sequel to Krispy Kreme? Or a new version of PG Dominance, (I swear I'm not biased at all ) The Dominatrix? Then there's loads of funny porn movies that we could borrow titles from LOL Riding Miss Daisy Womb Raider Shaving Ryan's Privates Schindler's Fist Star Whores Sorest Rump When Harry Ate Sally Buttman & Throbbin Romancin the Bone Free my Willy 10 Things I'd Lick About You 28 Dicks Later Cum Lola Cum Gulp Fiction Lilo & Her Bitch Legends of the Balls Sex With the Kitty
  18. OMG!!! The excitement !!! I reckon it's a brilliant idea! Lord knows if the rest of the world don't take to the idea it wont matter....with the dirty minds of us "ladies" here on the board have, it'll be an instant sell out anyways
  19. I have one phero that I reach for when I'm nervous or anxious, ifI'm upset about someting or if I'm too restless to sleep... B2 I've got 2 boosted bottles of it, and to be honest this is what I use B2 for exclusively. I've never worn it "in public" or around other people, I only ever wear it when I need a bit of emotional support or "soothing for my soul" if that makes sense
  20. Woooo.... I'd love a scent like that..... Big lush morello cherries on a (snow)bed of white creamy vanilla With a sprinkle of coconut flakes to represent the sparkles & textures of the snow DROOOOLLLLLLL I think it may be a tiny touch too early to start stalking tho right? Still like 9 days left of November?
  21. This one is very nice, & very classy....but so not a Rosebud scent. On me it smells of grass & water, posh, delicate & sophisticated grass & water, but grass & water none-the less. It's a very clean & fresh scent that I'm sure will appeal to alot of people, and it would be a great scent for work but I still prefer my rich & creamy foody scents
  22. This is by far one of my fave's from this months releases The addition of Cuddle Bunny is so perfect it's not even funny. On me, this scent is THE perfect snuggle scent. I get very velvety (yes, whatever that means in scent terms, but it really does smell velvety) & creamy vanilla on a quite prominent note of dark chocolate/cocoa. On dry down it softens just a touch and develops a rich base that's a bit caramel-like...I'm guessing that's the amber? In any case... It's totally awesome! I can't wait to try roadtest this on Mr Scruptious this weekend
  23. I'm sad, so sad Though this one isn't a scent I'd pick to be a Rosebud scent just by the description, it's absolutely lovely. It's a very romantic & utterly feminine scent, the perfect mix of fruit & soft florals...but on me it unfortunately doesn't even last until drydown. My skin eats it up quicker than any LP has ever done before leaving just a very subtle "nice & clean" or "fresh out of the shower" like scent
  24. Hmmm.... Not sure this is for me scent-wise. Normally I'd be all over something with vanilla, but this one is a bit too unisex for my liking....on me that is. I'd LOOOOVE this one on my Mr Scrumptious though
