BaBababaBaBa-bababa-bababa-BaBabumbumbumbum-dooleloolelooo-bumbumbum....ah, you get the idea? If I'm not a total classical music moron(and mannn, I may be)- it's the Dance (waltz? March?) of the Sugarplumb Fairy!!! And this perfume, as our dear Katz mentioned really does smell like magic and childhood. Another bottle to capture a scent memory somehow, of another place in time, not even nessecarily on this plane...could be in our dreams. Smelling this I hear the music I butcherd above, and I see the scene from Disneys 'Fantasia'. The colorful little fairys waking up from they're flower cup beds and shake the dew off. Then the proceed to make the flowers bloom and the leaves turn with thier touch, they skate across ponds and we watch pretty swirls of ice left in thier wake. They change the seasons and bring spring again then settle back to sleep in thier flower cup beds once more. All in one night-so, perhaps all over the world? Yes, Night of the Fae smells of dew kissed new born flowers and fruits, young plants, grasses, fresh air, annnd MAGIC. Again, we ask...how did our gals bottle magic? (and by magic I mean wonder, youth, and that "knowing" feeling..you know the one.) Well I guess you'd have to ask them. But Night of the Fae is lovely and contains it. Out of all the LPs I've tried, it remains one of my very favorites to date. Wearing makes me happy, a ray of light through almost any gloom. highly recommended.

So my old roomie and still great buddy, Nova has this off brand Rose perfume that I douse myself in everytime I'm at her house (even moreso when we lived together to her chagrin). She found this stuff at a T.J Maxx or something and I've been looking for it for YEARS. Rose. All rose perfumes are too sour, too plastic, too funky, too SOMETHING. Except for Nova's until now. Before I found LP, in a last ditch effort to find Nova's weird perfect Rose, I bought the same off brand stuff from a Marshall's-in a room spray. Yes, one can imagine how much my skin appreciated this. I broke out in a lovely rose red RASH. Enter Musky Dusky Roses. Ah, well I'll be. Is this here a fresh red rose I smell? Hush my mouth! Why yes it tis! I don't really get "musk or dusk", personally. It's more like I stuck my head in a rose bush and came out scratch and rash free! The ever elusive TRUE RED ROSE--at long last found-Ill take it!! My search has ended, and I'm a happy camper.

Our good ladies at LP are constantly busting thier butts between designing, brewing, mixing, bottling,empowering, shipping and lord knows what else goes into gettin us our little masterpeices. I'm pretty sure there's only Mara and Danna doing all this too! And it's well worth the wait, I promise. You should get an email notice in a few days, hang in there baby. And welcome to the forum! Cute!!! I got a sample of this one. At first it sort of reminds me of Lioness a little but no spice, just sugar(I'm sure it's just the orange in it). Then it turns into a bowl of Fruity Pebbles!! With whole milk!! It's very sweet, creamy and yummy. Love it. Throw another on the wish list pile!!
