Artisan fragrance is where we take back a small segment of our massive beauty industry spending, in that case I can quote Sean Combs as saying that "A man knows what smells good to a man." Hence the amount of men in the commercial industry. I didn't think of Thane as being sweet. The strongest notes I got on my husband were granite & steel. We called it, 'Twisted steel & sex appeal'.

I've got 6 & 7inchers,lol. At least I have an excuse for wearing tall shoes in public, my husband is 6'5"! Starlight is built like a runway model I've got wide shoulders for my size, but they balance my hips out. All in all, if I didn't have curves I'd be built like a gymnast.

Tried this on TT last night. His skin amped the violet & did something unspeakable to it. So I will be enjoying this little gem

So I was dreaming about ordering my LP order. Apparently my little heart desires LP Passion&Desire boosted w/ H&S. Boy thats a mouthful, can we just call it our 'hybrid'? Well I have a lot of H&S already, so I will be going w/ a Stone Cougar boost this time.

Correction, this blend does not contain patchouli in the note list. I guess I'm just getting an 'earthy' note, which I automatically associate w/patchouli. I will be trying this on TT.

Well it is Est. & Alpha Androstenol, no cops unless you request them. I've smelled Est. unscented, & I think it smells good on it's own. Mones tend to smell a little like sweat, or bare skin. They don't necessarily smell offensive w/out perfuem added. I think Red, Black, P&D would be complementary with this blend.

I get a lot of patchouli out of this which I love. My beloved's skin does something awful to patchouli, he's more of an LP#9 guy. So I haven't tried this on him yet. I can smell the moss, which makes this like heaven for me. I will be wearing this myself.

So I finally gave my sample a go. To me this is a subtle scent. The rice pudding does come out like the asian version that I've had before. Since it isn't that sweet, it vaguely reminds of rice crispies w/ a hint of fruit. The hint of plum reminds me of the unsweetened plum flavored water that I used to be able to get @ Target. Just really lightly there, more of an essence. Those are the only notes I could distinguish on my skin. All in all, even though this isn't a 'Beccah' scent. I would say it's definitely worth trying.

I have this one. It is definitely a good bedtime scent. I recently was letting other women smell my collection. One of them commented that it was a little masculine. I hadn't gotten that. I can see it now, as lavender is defintely a unisex scent. Frank Sinatra used to use Yardly's lavender soap.

I tried out my Garland & Lace sample over sandalwood LAM today. My husband responded quite well to this blend. We got in a little afternoon delight. He was really @ ease, smacking my behind. Sorry for the TMI, I'm just saying this blend seems to bring out his relaxed & playful side

Okay so this is under 'Bloomin Naughty' here I believe? In appreciation of the complimentary sniffee I received. I wanted to review this. This by far was my favorite of all the little samples I received. Dirty,Sweet,&Figgy was a close 2nd. This fragrance is so delicate, I couldn't @ first discern an individual element grabbed me. I just knew there was one note, just beyond the grasp of my nose. That I kept returning to sniff, & try to figure out. As a whole it is subtle & elegant. I finally gave up & read the description & now I know it's Lilac! This has to be the most understated, & elegant incarnation of Lilac I've ever smelled. Normally Lilac is loud, as a lilac lover, I'm okay w/ that. @ my aunt's former house there a lilac tree(bush?) right before the front entrance. I could smell it all the way to the beginning of the driveway(farmhouse). This Lilac smells like the breeze @ the beginning of that driveway. Subtle & mixed w/ the general sweetness of the night air. It would have to be more the night air in the springtime, after it first gets nice. Summer wouldn't fit the lightness & sweetness of this fragrance, would also be too green.

Trust me it's not a placebo effect, just try drinking & 'mone-ing(j/k)! Seriously, I love this one also. It captures everything I love , & crave with grapefruit. Grapefruit & cinnamon are the two smells that I actually just crave smelling.

H&S,H&S,H&S..... I just know I love it for going out, cuz I feel happy & comfortable. I even go out on the dancefloor first. So I think that would be a good first impression/date blend. You would feel comfortable, in a typically uncomfortable situation.

Anyone have any newfaves? I am completely stumped as to what I'm going to boost my next bottle of Red or P&D(?) with. Uggh,there are too many wonderful choices!

It did remind of when I was little & I would snap open plants & the stalks of flowers. Kinda smelled like the wild sorrell I used to munch on,lol.
