  1. Okay, this is kind of off-topic, but I'm curious about the Androtics blends. I have several LPs boosted with them, but I still don't know what they're supposed to do. Thanks to Lor and PaganLady, I have an idea about P74 and MX283, but Google searches and browsing the Androtics message board didn't give me too much insight into the other blends. Does anyone know if there's a page somewhere that lists Androtics blends' descriptions?
  2. Go here: http://lovepotionperfume.com/store/Pheromone_Blends.html About halfway down the page, there's an option that says "Add Pheromones to any Love Potion® Fragrance Add the Pheromone Blend of your choice to any Love Potion® fragrance. Let us combine the fragrance and pheros for you, and you'll get a $10 savings over buying the two separately! OR add Essence of Woman Copulins only, for only $5.00 more. Super-concentrated Pheromone Blends created exclusively for Love Potion® Magickal Perfumerie. Pure concentration with no dilutant - 1ml added to 9mls of fragrance in a 10ml bottle, so that the fragrance oil itself becomes the dilutant at a 1/10 ratio. Please choose Phero Blend at right, (CAREFULLY! Options are different prices!), and specify your choice of fragrance in the space provided. Thank you! Note: The first three options apply to our regular perfumes which retail for $24.95. The latter three options are for "Enhanced Perfumes" which already contain pheromones and normally retail for $29.95." It has a picture of the male and female signs blended together, with bubbles in the background. Let me know how it goes, I've been thinking of getting a perfume amped with pheros, too!

    Loco en La Luna

I see what you mean about the soapy scent-- I get a touch of it as well. I'm not sure if it's the flowers, the herbs, the tea, or the combination, but there is something about this scent that distinctly puts me in the mind of soap. Not that it's unpleasant! I have no objections to smelling clean. My skin also seems to eat this scent up-- I put it on, reapplied after a minute or two since I couldn't really smell it, and still have to stick my nose practically onto my arm to get a whiff. I'm glad I got a chance to try it out, but I don't think it's for me. Maybe it'll morph as it dries down a bit more, but I'm not counting on it.
  4. I am in love with LP Red like everyone else is. If you're looking for something with cops, though, I would recommend Beth's Blushing Milkmaid. It's a very nice, sweet, and creamy scent that I really like. If you like vanilla, you should definitely check it out. I don't have nearly as much experience as the other ladies here, but I thought I'd throw in what I've discovered so far. Welcome to the forum!
  5. I think I might be layering things wrong. The other day I tried to layer my 60/40 Open Windows spray with my LP Red. I sprayed it on top of the perfume, but maybe I didn't let it dry enough, because it somehow seemed to wash away the scent? I ended up having to layer more LP Red over it, but the scent still wasn't as strong as it usually is. Today I tried something new: I put some Good Witch on my upper chest (I'm trying to avoid getting it on my bra, LOL! It can linger and sometimes makes odd scent combinations if I switch scents.) and the sides of my neck, and sprayed the Open Windows onto the front of my neck and on my forearms.. I thought that if I separated them, I would get the effect of the pheros without sacrificing the strength of the scent. Is that right? Or was I just layering incorrectly to start with? (On a side note, it's always hard for me to tell if the pheros are working... I keep hoping for some drastic effects even though intellectually I know that isn't the case. Maybe I'll have more luck with a different phero blend, but this is all I have at the moment, and I think I was in a better mood than I might have been.)
  6. I'm still awfully behind as far as perfumes I want to try out compared to how many I have tried out, but isn't that how it always is? I thought I should try to catch up with a whole mess of sample vials, so I got one of LP Pink, LP Silver, Dangerous Games, Cougar, Elevation Potion, Couer de l'Amour, Ashes to Dust, Nosfy's Aperitif, and Money Honey. For my forum member samples I put a bunch of alternates because I know some of them might be out of stock, though they're still listed as having a couple vials available in the "Going, Going, Gone!" thread. My choices were: Vampire Bait, Sorceress, 976Girl, Happy Water, May Day, Captivation Equation, and Thief of Hearts. I know at least three of those are still in stock, so there shouldn't be any trouble getting me my two. Yay! It was hard waiting through the last few days of February-- luckily it's a short month and I can now make my monthly purchase!
  7. Ohhhhh, I think I did see that in a thread somewhere! Yes, it is lovely!
  8. I must have missed where Invidiana posted the labels that she made-- does anyone have a link?
  9. Thanks, ladies, for all your input! Okay, so it'd be a good idea to stock up on a little bit of each kind, then, right? Interesting. Maybe I should start taking notes! So layering a scent below or on top of the pheromone spray wouldn't have the same effect? And which add-in specifically would you ladies recommend? The Beta-Testing full-strength perfume spray with the added pheromones? Or should we just stick to perfumes that already have the pheros in them?
  10. I'd be interested in knowing everyone's thoughts on this as well. I got my unscented 60/40 1x Open Windows spray not too long ago, and have worn it a few times under or on top of other LP perfumes. I'm not sure if I've noticed anything. I may have been in a better mood, but who's to say how good my mood would have been otherwise? It may have something to do with a stuffy nose I've had.. would that block the pheromones like it blocks scent? I didn't notice anyone else acting differently, either, though I could have been too far away, or maybe my sweatshirt was too thick for the pheros to really diffuse properly... Or maybe I just need a stronger spray? Or possibly, as Beccah suggests, I'd be better off with full-strength phero add-ins?

    Siren's Serenade

I was thinking the same thing! The fruit scents I get from it are mostly the papaya and mango, I think.
  12. I'm regretting my One Purchase a Month rule, but I must stick to it, or there's no telling how crazy I'll go with my purchases... But for my next order, I think I'm going to get a bunch of sample vials: Ashes to Dust, Buns of Cinn, Love Potion: Pink, Love Potion: Silver, Nosfy's Aperitif, Liquid Magix, Thief of Hearts, and Vampire Bait. I think I should probably get most (if not all) of the potions on my WANT list (currently 41 strong) before I ask for a custom sugared blend like I'm planning to... and there is the debate of unscented pheromones vs. phero-boosted scents. Decisions, decisions!
  13. That is excellent beyond words! I'm so happy for you and your son. I wish him a speedy recovery.

    Siren's Serenade

Though the sweet, delicious tropical fruit is what comes out most strongly to me in this one, there is something in the background that kind of makes the fruitiness more subtle and sophisticated than I was expecting. It's not that I don't like bright, in-your-face fruit, but there's certainly something to be said for delicacy. Very nice!

    Fairy Lure

I just got a sample of this in the mail today, and I put it on over the 60/40 Open Windows spray that also came today. I'm not sure if I didn't let the Open Windows dry enough or something, but the scent only seemed to last on me for about half an hour (even with a re-application after the first five minutes or so). But while it lasted, the scent was very nice! Sweet and lemony, like candy.
  16. Welcome! I usually find myself lurking rather than posting most of the time, too, but hopefully that'll change as I get more familiar with the products and terminology.

    Temptasia

There are FAR too many potions I want-- I started scribbling a list back when I first started browsing (on a scrap of wrapping paper for some reason), and it's getting ridiculous. I'm going to type it up so I don't feel quite so silly. Plus, then I can organize it and make the names into links to the descriptions! Yay!
  18. I wore my new Fest of Fools amped with MX-283 to work today, and I must say I like it. I'm not sure it was due to pheromones, wishful thinking, or just me paying attention more closely than usual, but I did notice some changes to my mood today. I've been moodier than usual lately, kind of depressed and in a funk. Today, I would kind of go back and forth from being in a good mood (!) to a more usual blah state. It was strange, because my mood actually seemed the best a couple of hours after I put the perfume on. Do pheros linger that long, or take that long to go into effect? It's definitely worth another try, and I can't wait until I get some unscented phero sprays to see their effects, too!
  19. Now that's interesting! I'd never heard anything about that before. Hmmm, maybe I should try the Sugared Patchouli at some point. If nothing else, I won't be scared of the perfumes with patchouli listed in the ingredients (at least, the ones from here!). I'd believe it! I don't have many commercial perfumes (just two, actually, and those were gifts-- though I do have a few body sprays I bought for myself years ago), but these oil-based perfumes are so awesome! They use essential oil blends? It just says "Fragrance" on the label. I guess most of my patchouli experience has been with the patchouli by itself or with one or two other things. Usually soap, shampoo, lotion, incense, or essential oil... I get a lot of exposure to that kind of thing at work. Maybe part of it is that it's also so pervasive-- that and lavender. I like lavender less than I did when I started working here, just because it's in everything.
  20. Wow, this stuff is great! Super-sweet, creamy delight! I can't smell any cops in it, though I'm not sure I'd be able to anyway, with my untrained nose. I tried some on last night. When I wear it, my skin kind of adds an undertone of Smarties somehow-- the American candy, not the Canadian (and possibly European?). Anyway, I couldn't really smell it this morning, but someone I saw in the afternoon commented on how I smelled really nice and vanilla-y. I was surprised, but definitely pleased-- this scent keeps on going, apparently. !

    Mother Ship

This one is great, and my sister loves it, too! On me, the vanilla really comes through, and the milky scent, too. It is a really rich, comforting scent, and it almost seems kind of nutty.
  22. Yes, exactly! I've always found the smell to be far too much like dirt. I wonder if my (former?) distaste for patchouli is because other places use an inferior oil, or if I've just never smelled it paired with the right ingredients. Either way, glad to know I'm not the only patchouli convert!
