  1. Welcome aboard! Yeah, we need all the male input we can get.
  2. It's not a metallic note that I'm picking up. And it doesn't happen until it hits my skin, then something goes horribly wrong. Blech!
  3. Oooooooo, I actually have some Bonne Bell Skin Musk! This might be when I finish it up. :banana010: I could swear I saw it still available in retail, not too long ago. Probably on the 'net somewhere.
  4. Are there any regular scented LPs that are close to the scent of 'Synchronicity'?

I understand what you mean, and is one of the reasons I purchased a full bottle! There is no lavender in it, but I get a similar vibe as from lavender. That must be an effect from those peace-inducing 'witch woods' (see description below), which I wish would come out more. I'm not really getting any woody scent, and like someone else said I hope that develops more with age. This is actually very long lasting on me. I applied 'Hexen' to one wrist the other day and this on the other wrist. Hours and hours later, I could still smell this one, long after 'Hexen' had called it a day. I adore it and it is one of the few bottle purchases I have made lately. Description: A personal power potion for women fighting the good fight. So many people are involved in day to day combat: keeping food on the table, having to go to court to keep their kids, dealing with family members that seem to want to drag you down, or change you into what they desire... I crafted this potion from May Apples, magically equal to the Mandrake root. Power, protection, and Magickal increase of other ingredients. Mandrake is also used in traditional Witch's potions, and was used in poisons. This is made in a way to "poison" those trying to hurt you, by banishing them and their evil ideas. This is not a potion to be used lightly. It does have a beautiful fragrance - woody, sweet and with a slight cranapple tang. Magickal Meanings of Ingredients: MAY APPLE (aka American Mandrake) ~ magically equivalent to European Mandrake ~ Powerfully protective, draws prosperity, personal strength and power, amplification of intent and other ingredients. APPLE ~ Love, healing, fertility, good luck , happiness, immortality, fortelling spells. APPLE BLOSSOM ~ Peace of mind, contentment, success, happiness, love attracting. CRANBERRY ~ Protection, health, deflection of negativity. WITCH WOODS ~ Love, prosperity, purification, dispels nightmares. Peace, money, youth, healing.
  6. When I apply 'Super' for women, within nanoseconds it is morphing into road tar. The scent of road tar anyway. It has that wonderfully sweet cake batter smell in the vial, but turns rank as soon as it hits my particular skin. What's so puzzling is it didn't do this the first few times I used it. I don't know if something like a diet change is altering my skin chemistry to cause this or what, but so far that is the only LP that does it. I'm trying to decide if it's the fragrance oils in it or if it's the 'Super Sexy' pheros before I drop $40 on 'Super Sexy'. Is this happening with anyone but me??? I actually suspect it IS the 'Super Sexy', since no other LPs are doing this on me. Would anyone with 'Super Sexy' unscented be willing to sell me a decant so I can test this theory?
  7. I've always heard men in general don't have as strong a sense of smell as women. I know mine is way more sensitive than any guy I ever dated. The one I'm currently seeing can't smell hardly anything, which is making it tough for me with my LPs! At this point I'm just wearing them for me. I need to clarify here: I meant my nose is way better at smelling than his is. Not that my current guy has a better sense of smell than previous dates.

Gaaaaa, I wish I had a libido like that.... Sorry, if that was inappropriate for here....
  9. Ah, so they're happy while you're whupping up on them. ETA: I bet 'Warrior Heart' over unscented 'Domninance' would be REALLY kick arse!
  10. I'm not nitpicking what anybody wants to refer to them as, but...... if you're talking about the gadget with a bowl on top for a scented oil and a tealight candle in the bottom for heat, then technically they are oil warmers, not oil burners. Eons ago, the first phrase I ever heard them called is oil warmers. I don't know who along the way started calling them oil burners but that seems to have been what was picked up and repeated the most. The candle in the bottom of the apparatus is burning (it has a flame), but the oil in the bowl on top is being warmed. Another way of viewing it is the candle gets consumed by flame so it burned away, but all the oil is still in the top so it did not burn up.
  11. Girl, where in this solar system do you live? I think you need to move!
  12. Thank you!!! Because I have a feeling after I get my decant of this, I'm going to love it. I'm really all atwitter about it after Curiouschic's description of 'calming and wonderful'. Who couldn't use a little more calmness in their life.
  13. So, what did you name this concoction? Treasured Essence of Happy Hearts?
  14. Is this too stimulating to wear as a bedtime scent? I'm thinking of trying it to help me get some relief from all the work crap and stress that rattles around in my head when I get still and quiet, and then ruins my chances of a good night's rest. I'm willing to try anything before meds.
  15. I had an odd experience with this. Yesterday morning I applied it and it was it usual sugary yumminess. Then I reapplied later in the day and it went RANK on me. I'm not saying it was the oil; it could've been something different about my skin. It smelled like asphalt and was making me a bit nauseated. Has something like this happened to anyone else??? Not necessarily with this particular LP, but with any of them.
  16. Yeah, helps a lot! Thanks! Based on your description, I know 'Super Sexy' is more what I'm interested in than the copulins.
  17. I know they're different chemicals, but don't they do the same thing? Have the same results?
  18. When you guys say wear the LPs in your hair, do you mean at the ends? Or closer to your scalp? It seems like closer to scalp would warm the scents up and diffuse them more.
  19. The name and picture with this are just too darn cute! :HAMSTE~17:

SB, thanks for pointing that out. I had missed it. It's now going in my next order!
  21. That man is going to explode one day from all the mad scientist experiments you pull on him!
  22. I have the original but not the rebrew. Do any of you have both? I'm wondering if the new one is enough different to warrant getting it too.
