  1. It would have been a KO if I had applied the usual 3 inch strips!!!
  2. Now that I know how they smell, I'll definitely go one at a time. BTW, I got a lot of attention from the opp sex when I was at the supermarket yesterday afternoon.
  3. My two bottles of MRF have been sitting in my spare box of scents for close to two months now. That's because I like to use up my sniffees and samples before hitting the bottles. I caved in because when I tested Mark's Tonka Tobaccum (sp?) last night and I noted that it was similar to MRF. Don't stone me .... that was how it turned out on me. I decided to ditch the practice to leave spare bottles untouched and I wore both of them and headed off to the spa this morning. I smelled very much like a semi-burnt cookie with the re-brew and the original had some sweetness/pinkness in it. The other thing which I noticed was that the re-brew was more lasting and eight hours later, I was left a honey trail while the original has disappeared. Verdict: (1) I like both of them & (2) my beautician definitely didn't like as she raved about MWO throughtout my facial previously and she didn't say a word today.
  4. I haven't tried CPS yet. As it will create a barrier on the skin, I read on the forum, it will help the fragrance to stay true so your issue might be resolved but I might be wrong. Do a little search or post your issue to cast for a wider response. I intend to use CPS to stop the honey from coming in contact with my skin and thus avoid the stinky skin effect. As for my AVV, it's relatively untouched so it's going to my daughter. You should try the OCCO some day if you don't mind using cops. I ordered the entire range as part of my first order but I only started using them recently. Sometimes I use them solo and on other days, they go under my scents. A sampler kit will definitely be helpful to you.
  5. Try applying a layer of CPS before the scents. I have a bottle on its way to me as certain honey leaves an awful scent on my skin and it cannot be removed no matter how I scrub the application site. I have never been a vanilla fan but I'm begining to like it since I started using LP scents in June. I find AVV sweet, perhaps too sweet for my liking so it'll have to be layered under something. I love the way OCCO White smells. I'm uncertain if this will help you resolve the problem and if you want to wear cops. I've been lucky (or I may have been ignorant) that I do not have the plastic issue. Good luck!
  6. On me, it's totally not masculine. A sweet and mellow scent which I would like to use.
  7. This is yummy and warm! I get the lots of amber and vanilla and I think I do get a little tobacco in the background but in general, I smell very much like a cookie. This reminds me of .... MRF .... It's weird, isn't it?
  8. Now, I'm really bad at reviewing the men's fragrances. I just want to say that it's a very nice scent. I think I will check out a guy twice if he's wearing this.
  9. Very interesting scent. This turned out to be a light scent on my skin. Sweet and sensual. I think this is something I might want to use and I'm not sure if I would like my man to wear this.
  10. Perhaps you can trying layering it with something such as vanilla to soften the sweetness?
  11. I purchased a bottle in summer and it's still sitting in my box as I have a sample to test out. I haven't worn this scent out of the house. From the sample, I know that this scent will work on me. It turned powdery and I don't have a problem as Queen of Powder. I've got to give the scent another go and this time, it'll be outside the house!
  12. You're sooooo understanding ...... BTW, I like the cold smooth mashed pumpkin they serve in the Korean restuarants. I usually finish up my kids' servings. The other thing which I have escaped from is carrot cake. I'm old school. The good old chocolate cake will do fine for me. Tell me what I've been missing all my life .........
  13. No, I don't have Carolyn's Man Nip. Back home, we do not eat pumpkin on a regular basis. I get lots of this here and while I was living in Seoul. Maybe it's the weather. As for pumpkin pie, hmmm, I haven't tasted one .... (I can see you guys shaking your heads, rolling your eyes in disbelief and even falling off your chairs) ... I don't care for warm dessert (apple cinnamon, apple pie, crepe, etc) as I prefer ice-cream or cakes if I want a dessert.
  14. Maybe I should just give it a try. Thanks!

    My first order

Evil, real evil!!!! Whatever .... you only live once, right?
  16. Okay ladies, I really don't want to miss out on the hot scents. How does a pumpkin-based scent smell like? I wish I could scratch and smell my computer screen .....
  17. I had to try this again tonight and I applied Cougar on my other arm for comparison. This reminds me of Vampire Bait which I didn't quite like. I guess the citrus and cream combo doesn't work on me. Cougar on the otherhand was very much brighter at application. My unopened bottle and sample will is heading towards my trade post.
  18. White is my absolute favourite ..... surprise, surprise, suprise!!! Followed by Red then Gold.

    Sugared Honeycomb

You bet! You can say that again! I was trying to be as prim and proper as I can be.
  20. Thanks! My credit card's hiding again!
  21. Rosebud, I see that you have purchased a bottle of DS III as well. Have you tried it? Do you think I'll like it?
