  1. May, I really liked Allegro and, immediately after sampling it once, decided I MUST have a full bottle. Now, here's Mara and Danna's description of Allegro: A bold, long-lasting perfume, Allegro boasts a cornucopia of delectible fruits - Pear, Guava, Nectarine, Apricot, Lychee, Melons, Berries, a spritz of Citrus, a touch of watery Greens, and topped off with a light sprinkling of sugar and cinnamon. A combination designed for love, light and laughter! My skin seemed to really amp the citrus content as the most prominent note for me was definitely "citrusy" . There is a nice underlying sugared fruity note, adding just a slightly sweet note (perfect counterpoint for the citrus, in my opinion). My students enjoyed the scent and did not have any adverse responses to the alpha-nols (i.e., no one became overly chatty or off-task); instead, they were appreciative and sweet. My Beloved was not overly enamoured of the scent straight-up but, then, we know his preference regarding scents definitely does not include foody... when it was layered with other scents he was okay with it. May, I definitely think that, in view of your appreciation of Cougar Scented, you would, likewise, find Allegro quite appealing.
  2. Pythoness... forget the 12-step program.... just indulge... 'course, you may need to get a second job (or sell sex toys on the side... thank goodness its lucrative! )
  3. Super lasts quite a LONG time on me, as well. However, my skin seems to be amping the sweetness... this one is incredibly sweet (the vanillabutterymaplespicy blend which Katz mentioned) on me and, whereas I normally need to slather heavily, with reapplications in an hour or two, Super diffuses greatly with just a smidgeon of oil and lasts a good, long while (no data other than sometime short of 4.5 hours on how long as I feel asleep early, with it on last night, and it was gone when I had to take My Beloved's new puppy out at 1 AM... she's a cutie but she just doesn't have bladder/bowel endurance yet and, of course, even though she's his baby, she chooses me to wake up at the odd hours for her potty break... got to be impressed though that she's choosing to wake me up, though, you know, instead of, well, just relieving herself)
  4. I use one drop split between wrists, one drop in cleavage... and My Beloved is SO AROUSED! I love it I know others use more... and I think May uses only one drop... so it varies from person to person.

    'Til Death

I'm so sorry it amps horribly on you, May. I know you had been considering getting a scent locket; perhaps this is one for you to use with the locket? When I opened the vial for the Bears to sniff, they both immediately exclaimed "How wonderful! It smells like an Indian resturant!" Now, understand, we LOVE Indian food! And, it smells fantastic on their skins.
  6. It has become one of my staples as well for layering. I think Mara said it is a "staple" in their inventory as well, so it will always be readily available (Nice to know we don't have to worry about running out :msn_red_fox_smilies-09:
  7. I knew I was going to LOVE Honeyed Seductions... simply because I LOVE Sugared Honeycomb and I LOVE Dark Seductions. This combination is exquisite and we have you to thank for suggesting it, Dolly :msn_red_fox_smilies-09: I was very interested to find that many of this month's scents are thick, heady, and long-lasting one me. I have posted that my skin seems to "eat" scents and I don't tend to get a great deal of dispersion from scents (in general, one has to be quite close to me in order to smell my perfume, even if I slather) yet, with this month's releases in particular, I have found that the scents diffuse extremely well (so much so with Super that I need only a smudge of the oil at wrists and cleavage) and last for an extended time.
  8. Whew! That's actually better for me, since I love the scent *right now* (and I really LOVE My Beloved's appreciation of the scent... he nuzzles me and snuffles me while deliriously MMMing!). Not to mention, I've "stocked up" on Cuddle Bunny :msn_red_fox_smilies-09: (except that little squirrel isn't actually stock-piling her nuts, is she? She appears to be eating them as fast as she gathers them...) And, if by saying "keeping the phero library constant", you are signalling an intention to keep the pheroblends around, I will REJOICE!
  9. Oh, Cuddle Bunny is fast becoming my absolute, all-time favorite (as you well know, since I've ordered back-up bottles to my back-up bottles). I must admit, My Beloved's response to Cuddle Bunny definitely fuels my love and appreciation of Cuddle Bunny; he asks for this one almost exclusively. I'll want to be one of the first in line for the jazzed up version! Will this jazzing up be of the scented version or will this be an unscented blend?

    Bravado

This one quickly became one of my new favorite "comfort scents" and I already know I am going to have to order a back-up bottle. Like with Dolly, I get the creamy and sweet. And, this layers well with Allegro, which is very "bright". The two together make for a powerful "feel good" effect
  11. I so fell in love with the thought of a deeper, more honey-ed PheroGirl, that I opted for a full bottle right off... and, I am very glad I did! This is a lovely reblend. I agree with you, Dolly... this is very smooth and very sexy

    Taxed

I only get to wear my comfort scents during the day My Beloved has *his* favorite *comfort scents* so I wear them for him during the evenings.... or, I get to walk into the kids' rooms and sniff them We know my son's absolute favorite comfort scent is Sandman... I have him trying Taxed tonight... and, like the rest of us, he is loving the label art! So cute!
  13. The Bears and I want Mara and Danna to be so successful that they can make scents for us forever and ever... so we tell everyone who asks... and we let them sniff and dab and Ohh and Ahh... Then, there are those "dark moments" when we remember the scents are limited, and we realize the more people we tell, the greater probability that a scent we love will sell out
  14. I've been meaning to ask you as well, so I was very glad to see that May helped me out by asking herself (Kisses, or flowers, or bubbles, or whatever the cute little pot-bellied dragon is blowing, to May for asking... and to Dolly for sharing: )
  15. I recently purchased some. I didn't see any significant increase in responses from My Beloved and, honestly, I think I prefer the straight-up cops (EoW) to the Cleo blend. There is a difference in scent, however, with the Cleo having a slight herbal element.
  16. There are so many I hope will be rebrewed... or added to the "permanent" list: Dark Seductions, Raven's Secret Weapon, Cuddle Bunny, PG:D. I'm also hoping the pheroblends (unscented) stay around.....
  17. What a wonderful term, "Ladysniffers".... I have a whole cast of "sniffers" as well, including with my daughters, the "Oe-Bears", my youngest son, my teaching peers, and my students. It is so nice to be able to share in the joy and beauty of LP with those close to us, isn't it?
  18. Dolly, I would definitely like a blend with beta -nol rather than the alpha- as I think that would be much better in the classroom. As I mentioned in other posts, I too, have noticed a "cranking up" with alpha-nols (excessively increased chattiness, for instance, which is definitely counter-productive in the classroom). However, at this point, I think all of the blends here have either the alpha- or a combo of alpha- and beta- I do not, however, see such an excessive chattiness with the Drop Your Guard blend, though... perhaps the est helps counter it? The students are definitely more relaxed, and more receptive to discussing issues (for example: the decreased redirection time; rather than arguing, they open up about where they are emotionally and then *listen* to my presenting of alternative and more appropriate means of getting their emotional needs met) but even those students with the greatest degree of impulse control are not *more chatty* (byproduct of my strange brain... I automatically and almost unconsciously "collect data" such as 7 incidences of non-pertinent verbalizations today, 6 yesterday, 8 Friday, and 10 last Thursday... I seriously carry such a data record in my brain...)
  19. As you might know, I have been testing this one out in the classroom. Previously, I have had good luck with PheroBoy, finding that it relaxed my students and myself... which, when dealing with adolescents, can be a VERY good thing. I wanted to trial Drop Your Guard, as it has some similar pheromones (alpha-androstenol and androsterone; I don't know if the Pheroboy is beta- or alpha- androsterone but the Drop Your Guard is beta...) The students do seem to respond by showing less agitation (less verbal sparring, fewer debates, reduced redirection time) and, thankfully, I don't get a noticable increase in chattiness as I do with some blends (perhaps they are heavier in the alpha-adrostenol or perhaps the other pheromones help counter that effect?). I like the effects I am seeing; I haven't trialed it in a more social setting and was wondering if anyone else had done so. If so, what effects are you getting?
  20. Pony, Katz, Stkatz, and May: That is so nice to hear! Your words are the equivalent of "You look so happy together" and "We can see how much in love you are!"; we hear those comments all the time but reading that our love comes across through the written word is very special to read, so thank you. He is so very good for me and that is definitely what we all deserve: An incredibly good man, whom we love and respect with all our heart and soul, and who treats us wonderfully, loves us with all his heart and soul, and makes our world complete in ways we never thought possible
  21. I always feel so very grateful and so very blessed that My Beloved and I have all of it... respect; balance of power; openness/communication; cuddling; fun; the utmost of trust.... and an incredibly healthy sexual relationship... while he certainly doesn't see a woman's every move as a mating signal, and we respect each other's autonomy, there is no denying that our simple existance, our "being", is a turn-on for each other... so, yes, my brushing my hair is a turn-on, but only because it is me, his Beloved, engaging in an intimate action (and, a woman's hair has certain seductive qualities to a Jewish man...) but, then again, my catching sight of his handwriting on the grocery list hanging on our refrigerator is a turn-on for me, because it is his handwriting, the handwriting of My Beloved....
  22. I would definitely agree... hence my exploration of how various pheromone blends can affect my students. I do, however, feel less than comfortable about using products including copulins around them though, for various reasons, some of them obvious...
  23. I am such an addict... as Mara hasn't had time to send out the invoices yet, I'm sitting here thinking about what I NEED to add on! For instance, I just annointed the doorways and windowframes in the house with Ashes to Dust, reducing my bottle by a full-third (lots of windows! BTW, dust first if doing this!) so now I need another bottle....
  24. Ah, Liz... please remember I have a background in experimental/behavioral psychology.... that's the only reason I can so blithely toss around the term "independent variable" in relation to pheromone experimentation.... I'm very new to pheromones themselves and am just learning like you We'll have fun exploring together and sharing our new discoveries, okay?
  25. I'm intriqued as well... and am looking forward to the full descriptions. That will make it easier to contemplate any phero interactions... however, as Dolly astutely reminds, experimentation is always less convoluted and complex with only one independent variable (i.e., change one thing at a time... or, more specifically, use one phero blend at a time and note the particular responses before adjusting any other variable)
