I just bought some wax melts to try in the bedroom for just this purpose. Nor so much for my sleep... But hopefully to put My Beloved to sleep so I can sleep. Dude thinks that if he can't sleep, I shouldn't either. And, we aren't talking sexy time here... Its more of a "listen to me enjoy the sound of my own voice; yeah, sure, I know it's 1AM and you have to wake up at 5:30 but I can't sleep"... Sigh. I like sleeping...

Wet: wonderfully juicy semi-sweet prickly pear with just the merest undertone of salt. The notes meld and balance so nicely as the scent dries down, becoming a very beautifully balanced scent and one rather elegant in its simplicity. Very lovely. ... You were absolutely right, Lady V! I do love this one! Beautiful! And, then it's gone My skin just absorbed it. .. ate it up. .. One moment it was there in all its elegantly sweet ocean breeze beauty and glory. .. The next moment. .. gone

Lovely creamy coconut with just a touch of mango-sweetness. Absolutely edible smelling out of the vial, with a dreamy-creamy coconut soft-musk lushness upon dry down. And, surprisingly, wonderfully, this is a tropical scent that enjoys staying in evidence on my skin! Granted, it takes a slathering of oil to give me that presence, but I am so happy to have a tropical coconut scent with wear-time! Thank you, Mara!

My skin just LOVES honey based scents.... And, I love the way honey smells, so I couldn't be happier about that aspect of my skin chemistry (kind of a consolation prize of sorts which makes up for the fact that the softer/lighter/"spring time" scents just don't last on me at all!). OCCO SLF smells absolutely delicious on me.... In fact, almost a bit subtle; it's just a nice beautiful amber rich honey blend. Truly, it is certainly nothing like the ass/vagina juice smell, even wet, that I have read about in this thread. Based upon the responses of others, even if I were to slather this, it is a luscious powedered slightly darkened honey, almost slightly floral. And, I CAN wear it in public without getting the stink-eye from others (not that I make it a habit of doing so because of the cops). In fact, on the few times I have had to dash out of the house while wearing it, I have received wonderful compliments from both males and females alike about the scent. In addition, because the way it plays so beautifully on my skin, SLF really provides wonderful blending opportunities. I think this is one of my all time favorite OCCOs.....

And my package of LP love arrived today! Haha.... My Beloved thought my little squeaks of delight were so endearing.... And my son (who was getting ready for prom!!! BTW, he is giving his date a trial vial of Pixie Dust along with her corsage) commented, as I rolled up my sleeves to test the NRs ( I know, I know... I'm SUPPOSED to wait for travel shock to subside... Wasn't happening; I was too excited!), that I looked like a junkie fixing to get my drug "fix". Of course, they felt it absolutely acceptable to sniff and try things on right by my side So, tentatively, I'm contemplating FBs of: Wink at the Moon, Rihla, and Galapagos as well as possible backup full bottles of Amazonia Zee (if she lasts on my skin) and Amphitrite. Still need to try Mayberry, Anthea, and 4th Dimension as well as reclaim Ectoplasm from one of the men in the house

And, I have read the cautionary notes that stronger copulin formulations (and the OCCOs are definitely heavy on the cops) are easier to use in roll-on form versus a spray. The caution has been to take care that the cops do not accidentally get into your hair or clothes, leaving you with cheese-head or an "unwashed" smell.

DD, since this was a PE, it might very well be possible to request a rebrew once PEs are open again. I don't know to much about the PE process but if there is some deposit or up front charge for the requestor and if it is possible for me to Co-request to share this cost, I am very willing to go in on this with you.

Oh no no no! If that is the case, I will have to go into serious hoarding mode! I managed to secure a bottle of your phenomenal BP on the trades. I didn't even ask price before committing.. I was blinded by pure LP/BP lust!!! If AZ has the same feel, I'm falling into the abyss of a LP single-minded hoarding frenzy! This month may be one of my months of intense swoon-and-lust!

Pony, I think it is almost impossible not to have an emotional reaction to a scent! Our sense of smell is one of our most emotive senses! I form attachments to certain blends all the time... And, I am so grateful when Mara comes up with something to replace lost loves. I had been mourning Ravens Secret Weapon and now Mara gifts me with Seer... And I am swooningly in love all over again! I know she will craft and create another orchid love for you!

I couldn't resist Mara's water magic and Luna's description of this scent as "cleansing, purifying, and life-affirming"... Not to mention the fact that it seems I am secretly a water/aquatic scent lover. Here I was thinking I was a honey and resin ho... But some of my favorite scents these past few months have been Tail, Goddess, Lure of the Siren, Mermaids of Atlantis rebrew... Then, too, there is the memory-evoking power of the Bird of Paradise note; I haven't smelled a BofP since I was little....

Hmm. .. Time Travel Potion was a "scent of dusty dark resins, mosses and musk, and a hint of floral". 4th Dimension... Time travel ala H G Wells... an "antique smelling elegance"; dusty, mossy notes.... Although I was blessed to find 2 partial bottles of Time Travel on the trade lists and was gifted a portion of a third by a wonderfully generous friend, I really regret not being here for the release of Time Travel and it works so well during regression sessions. Dare I dream that 4th Dimension and TTP might share common intent and inspiration?

Bird of Paradise was my father's favorite flower. We had them everywhere when I was a little one living in Panama. I'm interested in what emotional reaction Amphitrite might elicit for me....

Woah.... so, silicone might be the answer to my skin eating scents? I'm lucky to get 1.5 hours wear out of the lighter scents. 2.5 out of heavier, more resinous scents. It isn't something lotion has seemed to help with. Next order I'm testing the silicone possibility. Awesome!

FB unsniffed for me!!! This sounds lovely, absolutely lovely... and, with the intent/water magic behind the scent, how could I resist? More to the point, why would I even wish to offer resistance?

And, for me, the NUTS are one of the reasons I think this will work so beautifully on my skin.... Mistress of Fate: hazelnuts and pistachios; Insight Potion: pistachios, almond; Hathor: Almonds; Prophetic Pie: pecan... and I love each of these on my skin! So, nuts seems to work for me (Can't eat them though; automatic weight gain for me! Which is a sad thing... they are such healthful foods!) Not to mention, I like the sesame in Open Sesame.... I think this one might just end up being a FB purchase for me! Can't wait to sniff the sample which is soon to be heading my way!

I compromised... a full sample set (logical) and an unsniffed bottle of Amphitrite (indulgent) as well as one of Mayberry (if it isn't absolutely adored by me, my oldest daughter will love it, I'm sure) OH!!!! Speaking of NR news...... My second oldest daughter just gave us the news that she is expecting!!!!! YAY!!!!!!

Like Liz and EOSP, I was seriously considering a FB monthly set; everything about each of this month's NRs just appeals so strongly to me. And, I think I was trying to order before the buttons were fully operational... either that or the mobile version can get wonky sometimes (I was using my phone). This morning, while waiting for My Beloved to come out of surgery, I kept trying to put bottles into my cart to no avail! Then, a few moments later, it worked!

As far as last month's scents, my newly adult youngest son suggests Blackstone I'm definitely ordering a full sample set (they are all so wonderfully enticing, are they not? ), backup FBs of Seer and Wicked, and a replacement bottle of Pot of Gold to replace the one that leaked out.
