  1. Got a sniffee of this and at first sniff just couldn't figure out what to make of it! Definitely interesting. A bit woodsy, like cedar, a bit smoky. I kind of like it, but I think I would like it on a guy more. Is it a guy's fragrance? Somehow I think the slight spiciness in it would amp beautifully on a man.

    Mango Tango

This was obviously very mango on first sniff, but I got something else similar to orange - looking at the note list I'm not sure what that is. It smells lovely in the vial, a little sharp on my skin at first, and then dries down to plump, full, fresh fruits, gaining a burst of sweetness after a few minutes but still staying fairly quiet, sticking close to the skin. Another lovely fruity scent.
  3. Thanks Snowflake Being in the conservation field I take your comment very personally. A lot more is needed in this area for sure, but at least we are making a small difference.
  4. Yep, you find them all around, though they are more of a field and open plains animal than forest. On the roads I drove on around here they are often in the middle of the road just after sunset, and I have had many near-misses with them. The baby might be very gentle and won't bite, but I wouldn't guarantee the same for it's mother when it sees you holding it...! Oh and for anyone interested, here is some info on the project I was a part of http://www.abc.net.au/local/stories/2011/02/17/3141176.htm

    Velvet Moss

He's a keeper! Hold onto him!!
  6. The descriptions all sound wonderful! I think I will need a full bottle of Torrid Sorcery!
  7. Yeah, I don't get the negative connotation applied to "beta" guys. I always seem to go for beta guys - as in "nice" guys - and I am just seriously turned off by assholes. Like, I feel a physical repulsion towards guys if they behave in a nasty or mean way, no matter how good looking they are. Guys can be nice but still dominant and self-assured when necessary. Traits associated with "alpha" males tend to make me think the guy must have self-esteem issues if he feels the need to prove his masculinity all the time, and needs to do so by being mean.
  8. This sounds so similar to an experience I had last week wearing GotBM! I had two women and one man crowded around me and invading my personal space in the same way. I was actually trying to get out of the situation because I needed to make a phone call (had just heard C2 had been hit by a bus! He's ok though) but they just didn't let it happen for like twenty minutes, they were all vying for my attention and trying to tell me something - but more like talking AT me than with me, which was actually a little frustrating. Keep moving in closer when I pulled away too, and I also got the barging in front of each other thing as well. As you say it wasn't sexual or romantic, just like they thought they were behaving completely normally. I think LFM shuts off some kind of social filter that would normally tell people they are behaving inappropriately. Very interesting stuff!
  9. My this thread has been busy! I had to scroll back two pages to pick up where I last left off!
  10. They are not koala bears!!! Hahaha we always hear international tourists say that! Just drop the "bear" part, they are in no way related to bears
  11. Yep, that's what I mean. I don't like using "hierarchy" terms either, it just seems to be the terminology used at the moment. I mean the more quiet, shy, less aggressive guys. I also love Heart & Soul and PM too. Beta androstenol is a winner for sure!
  12. You guys have never seen wombats??? I guess they are just an Australian thing then? I get so naive about what goes on in the rest of the world sometimes...
  13. No need, Phero actually lives just around the corner from me...! That was such a fun time in my life. We would work in teams of half a dozen. One person drove the ute, another had a spotlight, another a shotgun, two people were runners, and one person was ready with the tranq injection. I was always a runner. We would drive through deserted fields full of potholes in the middle of the night spotlighting wombats. When we saw one the guy with the shotgun - a kid no more than ten years old - would take aim JUST above it's head. The ricochet sound stuns the animal and they just sit there for thirty seconds or so trying to figure out what happened. He never once missed and got a wombat by mistake, his aim was amazing. We runners would jump off the back of the ute with massive nets and try to nab the wombat before it regained its wits and chose to fight back or dive down a hole. The tranq injection wasn't far behind us if we got it. They are deceptively big and strong and tough. And when you get in their way they charge and can easily snap bones with their headbutt. They can chew through solid wood, so just imagine what they can do to your leg. I saw a girl literally lose a chunk out of one of her legs. As soon as we caught them we had to inject the tranquiliser, otherwise they would outwrestle us any day! This sounds awful, but my favourite part was when we were researching growth rates in the infants and we would catch mothers with joeys in their pouches and take the little ones out. We didn't hurt them of course, but it was amazing to see these tiny little creatures. Some were no bigger than a jellybean and so very fragile. Some were bigger and had their eyes open and just unbearably cute, and so trusting of us. I still have a huge affinity for wombats to this day.
  14. Awwww... will you marry me Phero?? Actually... A few years ago I was doing work where I chased down dozens of wombats... but I guess that doesn't quite make me a crocodile hunter
  15. Oops, thanks... please feel free to move posts! Hmm, I don't think so? Should be five left... http://lovepotionperfume.com/perfumerie/potion/DetectiveDame/
  16. LOL yes from the celebration thread: http://lovepotion.invisionzone.com/index.php?showtopic=5409&st=2040 Are you offering your skills as a photographer Phero?
  17. Hahaha Actually through the simple fact that it is only ever older guys that are interested, pretty much everyone I have dated has been a lot older. The last was nearly twenty years older, and mostly it worked great but towards the end there was just a level we couldn't connect on. I had way more energy than him, I wanted to do "young person" things, and we couldn't agree on music, ever! It wasn't a huge deal, but I do think it contributed to the end of our relationship. I don't care so much about having a guy that looks hot and young, I just want someone who I know will be on the same wavelength as me...
  18. Awww QG.... you are so good for my ego This was before I stripped off, those pics are staying hidden until I need to sell them for LP monies You might be right that it's an age thing. Older guys - like much older - go for me all the time. But guys my age aren't interested. I should have been born fifty years ago...
  19. I am da SHIZNAY! No obvious photo to fill this one, so I'm just going with a pic of me from this weekend!
  20. I hope this is the review thread for Super Sexy for Women... it was the closest I could find! I want to order a full bottle of this in spray. I already have it in oil in MRFIII and I love it. I'm tossing up between Sneaky Clean and Detective and the Dame. Any recommendations/suggestions from anyone who's tried both on which is their favourite? I have some Sneaky Clean oil and I like it, but maybe I will like DATD better?
  21. Don't worry, you will ALWAYS need a bottle of something else!! Thanks Tyvey! SS4W is one of my regulars/favourites, and now that you mention it I have always got great hits from beta males with this.
  22. Awww Well now I know a bit more about LPs I would have to agree, but when I first came to the site there was sooooo much to choose from, I didn't read it all just ordered one that looked good! Honestly I think I just went through the pheromone section in alphabetical order and "Blatant Invitation" was near the top, so I got that one! Passion in Pink was in my second order though So I wore a good dose of BI today mixed with Dirty Pretty Thing, which by the way goes FABULOUSLY together. I felt such a rush of self confidence, in a kind of bad-ass, mischevious way. I really like the way I feel in this, I just feel so sexy and powerful and strong. Reactions from others were a little strange though - people seemed to have trouble maintaining eye contact with me. They didn't seem to dislike me or think I was rude or be intimidated, and I got the impression they wanted my company and enjoyed talking to me - just couldn't hold eye contact. Not sure what to make of this yet, more testing needed.
  23. Welcome to the forum! I think your avatar is cute!
