This is so weird! I was expecting to be hit in the face with coconut, but at first it is only faintly coconut, I actually smell the cocoa butter more - at first I thought it was a chocolate smell. Then after twenty minutes, I can't smell anything at all!! This must be a super subtle, skin smell for me. I know I moisturised well today so I guess my skin just eats this smell...

Fruity and pink and sheer. Feminine and princessy and girly, but never overwhelming. I love this! It does have a commercial aspect to it to me, but I don't mind at all. So pretty!

Tried this one again today while I was in a warm room and not likely to be craving warmth. I realy want to like this because of the blueberry in it. I can smell some faint blueberry, but overall it still goes soapy and a bit sour on me. Sadness.

Hmmm... tried this one blind and thought "chocolate... but not nice chocolate". A big coffee-like as well. Read the ingredients and it has walnut. Well, that would be why! I can't stand the smell of nuts, harks back to my nut allergy. Will have to give this one a miss.

I like this one, it is quite a foody, warm smell, with a bit of tang to it. It just seems very faint to me, I feel like I really need to slather it on. Somehow when I put this on my first thought was it was "incomplete" - I feel like I want to layer it with something. But it develops its depth as it dries down and goes a bit richer, which completes. This one is vanilla and fruity cream.

Any update on when this will return yet?? I have almost caved a few times and ordered DHEAS from somewhere else, but I read somewhere that the LP DHEAS is better quality and causes less skin problems, so I am trying to hold out for the good stuff! I get the "soapiness" with a few ingredients, including some musks. It's hard to predict what will go that way on my skin, and it may even depend on the day. Crazy chemistry!

Ahh - so is this one actually Garland & Lace then? Good to know, it will give me a chance to try out the Lace phero!

This is very fruity and floral and fresh and various other (clean) F words! It is like the citrus musk of Scent of Eros for Women, a bit commercial smelling but nothing wrong with that. Right now because it is so cold I'm craving something warm and comforting, and this isn't it at all, but come summer I may feel differently. Right now it just smells a little sour to me, but I think that is just me at the moment.

I'm not a big fan of this one, but then I don't like sandalwood so that's not surprising. It is sweet sandalwood though, which helps a little. To me the banana just becomes a facet of the sandalwood, it changes it a little but it isn't enough to overwrite the note I don't enjoy in it. Still, good home will surely be found for it on the trade thread!

Somehow, this comes out as coffee and chocolate on my skin. Like a mocha or cappuccino dusted with chocolate shavings. There's something burnt or smoky hanging around as well. That may sound delicious but smelling that way doesn't feel right to me... it's just not working nicely on my skin. Could be the amber.

I'm a little disappointed with this one, it is just way too green for me. I get a little floral, but it is drowned out by the green, which just goes like detergent on me. A great scent for someone who likes green + floral, but not for me.

This was way too green on me when I first put it on. It dries down ok, but still a bit too green and nothing special in there for me. I think I would need to smell it on a guy to make a proper judgement. Unsure whether to hang onto it in the hopes I can get a guy to wear it, or put it up for tradezies.

I have a little sniffee of something that is just called "Garland". Is this supposed to be Garland & Lace? If so I'm happy to move this to the appropriate thread, but if it is indeed a non-pheroed scent as the label seems to indicate then I guess it belongs here - but I couldn't find the review thread for it! I smelled this one blind first of all, and got a bit fruity, fresh and subtle. It's foody and buttery and tangy vanilla to my nose as well. Is it pumpkin I get from this, or just spices? It's like a gentler version of Unreasonable Pumpkin. Not the sort of scent I normally go for, but it's quite nice, and would be great for adding another dimension to some scents with some clever layering.

Well for *me* it will be Friday in a few hours... so I think Mara should put up the new releases a day early just for me!

I still say an OCCO Fruit range is in order! We could each design one!
