  1. Has anyone tried Cat's Eye? I wonder what effect that would have on a cat? Now that I think about it I think I remember my cat having a good reaction to Astrinde's Kitty Petal...
  2. Even better, they're on SALE! That's how I snapped one up! Mara, I'm curious now, what was the theme of CMN's monthly collection?
  3. Wow, the McDonald's guy could pick out sandalwood?? That's a sophisticated nose! He's wasting his time in that job lol
  4. I will have to think about this one more before I give a decent answer but I just wanted to comment on "furry purry"! Hehehe how cute!
  5. What??! Pink Musk is there now?? Dammit, it was gone when I placed my order so I thought I had just missed out! Now by the time I place another order it will be gone again!
  6. How about the TMI can instead stand for "Total Musk Indulgence"? Because it doesn't have the TMI blabbing effect?
  7. Guavas in the Mist A carefree, mood-elevating scent featuring the luscious guava, with a whisper of berry to drive those stressful thoughts away, along with a trace of banyan fruit to promote resourcefulness and enlightenment. A misty layer of vanilla and powdered sugar puts you in a happy, playful mental state while the drop of vetiver shows off your beauty and draws love and happiness your way. Follow the lead of the wild Guava Beast and show those stresses how little you actually care. It'll take all their fun away, leaving you to wander freely in a happy, tranquil jungle all your own. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Magickal Meanings of Ingredients: GUAVA ~ Encourages romantic notions and fantasy. BERRIES ~ Love inducing, protection, stamina, vigor. BANYAN FRUIT ~ Resourcefulness, endurance, rebirth, eternal life, expansion, enlightenment, desire, interdependence. Wisdom, fertility, love, luck, protection, aids restful sleep, divination. Feminine sexuality. POWDERED SUGAR ~ Attracts love, luck, sweetness and riches. Lust inducing, wishes granted. VANILLA ~ Aphrodisiac, inspires happiness, playfulness, sexual arousal, lust, vitalizing. VETIVER ~ Enhances perception of beauty. Love, sensuality, money, luck, hex-breaking. SWEET MUSK ~ Self-confidence and strength, sexual attractant, heightens passions and arousal. PALE AMBER ~ Fertility, creativity, love, luck, riches. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ How can it be there is no review thread for this yet? This is absolutely lovely! I get perfectly balanced fruity juiciness, sweet greens, and something almost floral. This is very light and subtle yet tangy, and I could bathe in it. Guavas are another awesome discovery as a scent note!
  8. Hmm... I thought I wouldn't like this but it isn't bad! Surprisingly warm and cosy and sweet. It's a shame about the nuttiness though, at least for me.
  9. Judging by the awesome Purple Puff review I just read, I'd say she's already there!

    Celebutante!

This is one of the ones that is good in the bottle but not so good on my skin. In the bottle it is full and creamy, juicy fruit, but within minutes on my skin the cream drops away and I am left with something that smells like cheap lemon-flavoured cough drops. A bit disappointing, but then that's what scent necklaces are for! As a side note, I second the boosting with Popularity Potion idea - what a great intent combo!

Air freshener. That's what I'm getting. This is the smell of an air freshener my brother's ex-fiancee used to use, I am sure of it. It was some kind of commercial aerosol one I wouldn't normally use, but it just triggers a feeling in me, a time and place I had long forgotten, and the immediacy of the moment is powerful. It is extremely fresh, almost chemically so. It is airy lemon florals. It is white linen, the smell of clean, deodorised laundry. Despite the commerical aspect I quite like it for its sheer CLEANness. I agree it is green, but it is sweet enough that I don't mind the green.

    Baskery

I can only say.... OM NOM NOM NOM NOM!
  13. I love the idea of Lovers in the Clovers with Perfect Match! But as to your question Merienda - what about Baskery? I am in love with that one at the moment. Also on the floral side, I made a PM + Piia's Candied Violets & Musk spray and it is DIVINE. HIdes any cops as well if I add them too.
  14. This is delicious! I have never really tried raspberry before and now I know I love it. It is a kind of candied raspberry, reminds me a bit of Kimberly's Honey Berry. I agree that the honey is very sweet and nice, not a dirty honey at all. I'm so glad I ordered a full bottle of this.
  15. Well as incentive to win the race, whoever gets there first can be #1 and the other can be #2
  16. Welcome! Nope, it's not weird at all to like the guys smells! I do too, either on a guy or in the bottle!

I just smelt this in the bottle and it triggered a scent memory. An apartment I lived in a long time ago. My brother's ex-fiancee. An emotion I can't quite put my finger on. I just need to put this note down so I remember it for later. I'm sure whatever it is I need to remember will come to me.
  18. I'm changing my mind about this a little after wearing it today. I think it can also be more of a cooler weather scent, because althought it has the citrus and florals in there, there is a warmth to it. I loved the first few hours where it was all nommable, slightly citrussy warm skin smell, and after that it dried down to a musky, almost amber-like scent. I didn't like this as much, but it was quite subtle and pleasant in its own way. Now less than six hours later all scent seems to be gone. My skin just seems to eat everything lately.
  19. I have a sad feeling it won't be Nooo I knew I should have got some of this with my last order. I have a bottle of UN Perfect Match, but who was I kidding, that won't be enough!!!
  20. That was an interesting read Xev! So I am curious, if pregnenolone is a hormone, what other "pheromones" have we been using that are actually hormones? The only other one I can think of that might be is oxytocin, which I tend not to use anyway?
  21. Great report LV! Does anyone have any reports on the effect this has on males?
