  1. This is a really sexy scent. The descriptions here are all so accurate, it starts out fresh and fruity in a clean, citrusy way, and then morphs into fruity, smoky incense. The combination of fruit and musk balances into something really elegant and sexy and womanly. At first sniff I thought I wouldn't like this, but it is so interesting and sexy it has grown on me over the time I've been wearing it. To me for some reason it reminds me of Extracurricular Proclivities, not sure why but it has a similar "feel" to it, just a bit sweeter and juicier. ETA: Decided to amp this with Blatant Invitation. I put 10 drops of straight BI into my 3/4 sample vial, so quite a heavy load. It smelt of copulins on application, but on dry down it is back to the original DPT scent. If anything it is maybe a little sweeter? Think this is a good combo!

This starts out like warm, baked goods on me, which I guess is the pumpkin and the brown sugar. The pear quickly comes out, but it is too sharp for my liking, I almost thought it was a woody smell actually. Fortunately it settles down on dry down, to become a soft, florally pear. I don't think I'm a big fan of pear scents. I love fruits, but I think I go more for berries and tropical fruity smells. Pear is a little too green to me, like sandalwood.
  3. Lol, it's a link to the bog of eternal stench scene from Labyrinth Can you not view it?

Ahh, that's good to know I think I forgot about it after the first half hour or so, but maybe I should try it out again and take note of how the scent changes over time...

Oh, that's good to know. Well don't worry, I'm sure these ingredients are in minute concentrations and would be really unlikely to cause serious harm. Some products have given me rashes before, so that may be why, but to be honest I'm allergic to a whole host of things so I'm quite used to trying things and discarding them if they give me a reaction. Worst case scenario is the occasional rash and I can deal with that, I have creams to treat it, anti-histamines on hand at all times, and as I said I'm used to discarding products that do that to me, so no biggie. Don't worry Mara - but thank you anyway for your concern

This one smells a bit too incensey and earthy to me. It's a nice smell, but not really one I want to wear on my skin. I am getting a hint of something sweeter underneath though, but it's not enough to drown out the smoky smell.
  7. This is beautiful! Such a WOW factor for me when I first put this on! I get this sharp, sweet, tangy goodness that must be the berries and grapefruit. No mint for me, which I am glad for because I don't like mint. Berry/cherry scents are fast becoming my favourites. It softens on dry down (as they all do I guess) but still keeps the sweetness. It becomes sugar-fruit to me then. I still love it, although the wow factor on first application is hard to beat. This is a keeper ETA: After an hour this has gone minty on me I liked it better to begin with. It's still ok, but no longer a WOW scent. Maybe this is one for the scent locket.
  8. I thought I would like this one, but sadly it doesn't like me. It just started out very in your face GREEN, which I didn't like the smell of - guess I'm not into green scents? The green did dry down and become softer, but more florally. To me there is a kind of florally I like, and a kind that makes me think of getting allergies and gets up my nose. This was the second kind.
  9. If you've never used cops, I would recommend trying a cops blend before EoW straight to begin with. I started with EoW without trying anything first, and no matter how much I read I still managed to get my cover scents and such wrong. In fact I still haven't got my head around it, and I've been experimenting for a few months now. EoW can be tricky stuff. The OCCOs and other cops blends take a lot of the guesswork out for you and make it easier on us cops newbs! I haven't tried Cuddle Bunny (though I think it is actually waiting for me at the post office at the moment, hehe) but from what the other ladies have said here it sounds like a great blend to start with, although you'll probably want to try something with just straight cops at some stage too to get a feel for how cops work on their own without the estratetraenol in CB.
  10. Ok, after reading these reviews I really want to give BI a try again! I wasn't too certain about the reactions I got from it the first few times I wore it out and have been saving it exclusively for home use, but now I am tempted to try it out publically Wish me luck!

Oh, don't panic Mara, I'm only allergic if I eat them or get them into a cut or something! And I wouldn't be silly enough to do either! I'm very careful, and in my experience products that actually contain nuts usually say so somewhere on the packaging, so I wouldn't use it if that were the case. Are you saying Pithivier has actual almonds in it?? I thought it was just a fragrance note? I don't know about shea butter, believe it or not I've never tried it.
  12. This is very fruity, but not loud on me. I am surprised it has amber in it, it didn't detract from it for me like I thought it would. Another lovely fruity scent, definitely has that candied aspect to it that I love from scents like Nectar de L'amour.

Hmm, this one started out very green on me, but went florally after a while. It was strange though, it was florally in a "manly" way, if that makes any sense?? Like a nice men's aftershave? Very clean and fresh and sexy. I could *almost* get away with wearing it as a female, but I think it would work better on a man. I tried it on a male as well and on him it smelt much spicier, it lost the sweetness it had on me - definitely better on him. Now if only I could convince a man to wear something called "perfume"...
  14. Wow, this thread is sure hard to find! It's not coming up at all in my searches? Oh well, after scanning through several pages of review sections I managed to locate it. This is very pink and florally on me, and I get the light honey from it too. There is a little musk and civet in the background, which personally I would prefer weren't there, but it doesn't detract from the fragrance too much. It's a nice enough pink scent, but being a Pink Sugar obsessee I have to guiltily admit I probably do not prefer it to Aquolina... it is just a little too florally for me, and the musk makes it a bit soapy, like I've just used a nicely scented soap on my hands. It's still pretty nice though.

I get the chocolate and violets in this, but somehow I don't like it. I'm coming to the conclusion that I actually don't like the smell of chocolate on my skin. Just doesn't suit me. I love to eat chocolate, but I think it's not a very "recognisable" scent on skin - unless I actually know it's chocolate I'm smelling, and consciously try to think of it as chocolate, it just comes off as weird. The violet isn't helping either for some reason. Maybe the almond note is putting me off as well, I'm deathly allergic to nuts so even the smell of them is gross to me.
  16. Woohoo I'm so glad I signed up for the yearly subscription now, these all sound amazing!!
  17. I want Mermaids too! It is on my wishlist!
  18. Oh, like the trading post for Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab? Got it
  19. This is exactly what happened to me too! Now that I think about it though, of course it shouldn't have put me off, but at the time I just skimmed past it without giving it another thought. Just shows how powerful marketing can be, for good or bad!
  20. I tested this out with Sexpionage and I can confirm, it does indeed hide the smell perfectly! No bleed through at all, it just all melts in together and smells great. These two were made for each other.
  21. Ahhh I wish I could get some of this! I am hoping OCCO: Ambrosia will satisfy my need for a fruity covered cops blend, but if it doesn't... anyone have any TAIL I can grab?
  22. I'm sure I should know this but I'm drawing a blank... what's BPTP again?
  23. I love this! I don't even know exactly what I'm smelling, but it's sooo nice, everything melds together beautifully! Is anyone else getting gingerbread from this? Sooo delicious... I think my sample will get used up in no time! What a great idea to combine these scents... I will have to see how the guys around me react to this too...
