Wore this again, generously. Love that sweet cherry-like note on top. Again, gave way to the creamy oat goodness and "spice". I'm thinking you've pinned it luna, must be the alcohols. But I slathered a bit more on last time and while the fermented spiciness came forward, it was not in any way unpleasant. Mr. New was quite fond of it as well - so while this one may not be my very most favorite of the December NRs, it isn't going to go to any kind of waste

Thanks luna, and, no, it didn't change. I slathered a bit more on, for full impact, and got the apple note on top and the citrus made a brief flash, but it was quickly overtaken by the clean, woodsy, soap-like fragrance. This may be delegated to my oil warmers. It is not a fragrance I would wear but it's also not something that is unpleasant, so alternate use it will be!

I'm not sure what to think...I'm confused. I was expecting fruity, and there is this citrus something, but I'm getting something very earthy AND something almost - soap like? I think it must be the cedar/wood notes? The citrus note is quickly overtaken by the clean, woodsy fragrance. Just not what I was expecting so I need time to adjust, lol. I wanted to jot down my first thoughts but I'll be back to share what my impressions are AFTER the first 15 minutes Who knows how this will change over the next 1/2 hour or so?

This goes on with a blast, all sweet berry/cherry like, but quickly settled down to a soft creamy oat cookie goodness. After an hour I thought I was amping cinnamon or spice, but it isn't even a note! Could it be the boozy notes? The sandalwood? It was very forward for hours and while not unpleasant, overpowered the creamy oat goodness I wanted SO much more of! I will have to wear this again and try to sort out what I was so certain was some sort of spice. Any thoughts on why my nose would read cinnamon? Very curious...

Mmmm, chocolatey goodness! I don't have Dream Lover but I can see the relation to Luv Truffle. This is a cocoa chocolate, sweet frothy, cream goodness. I put it on (liberally) around 6pm last night and woke up with a soft sugary hint still on me 12 hours later! It's gotta be the combination of the marshmallow and cream/butter/milk - it's like cocoa with whipped cream and mini marshmallows melting into the chocolatey goodness A perfectly calorie free replacement for a sugary, decadent treat!

Rose - I can't use this for sleep for similar reasons LOL While it's tempting to use the new NOX 2015 for bed because it smells so scrumptious, the phero is just too happy for sleepy time...maybe I used too much? I LOVE LOVE LOVE Teddy BB for work. It's also great for when I hang with my brother and cousins (guys). Oh heck, family in general really. Just a great little gem!

Ooooh, SNAP! That initial burst of berry goodness is delish! When first applied there is something, ever so remotely, medicinal and yet not...Maybe it's the sandalwood/nutmeg/berry thing? But it settles out to a creamy confection and so far the couple times I've worn it everything has played nicely again this time around, no amping of nutmeg to be found! I very much like that the berry lingers for so very long, only drifting off hours later. There's a tartness to this one, but it hasn't turned sour on my chemistry, so that's just fine with me! Recklessly got FBs unsniffed - no regrets!

First on it's all spice and cinnamon with a bit of creamy sugared nuts in the far back ground. I fear cinnamon slightly because my skin can amp it like mad sometimes. After about15 minutes it all balances out though and it's all delicious and creamy oatmeal like cookie goodness (but there's no oatmeal!) This is scarfalicious! There is one guy at work who calls me "the candle lady" because he likes my perfumes but his nose doesn't understand them THIS had his attention and he was following me around telling people to smell me, that tonight I smelled like Christmas...Christmas cookies that is Mr. New likes it too but is quickly discovering that just because LPs smell delectable doesn't mean they taste that way Full bottle was a great choice. It also lasts for hours and hours. Win!

Ooooooo! Crunch berries!!! YUM! I get pink flossy goodness, but not crunch berries - though I would be highly thrilled to LOL

LOL! Well good! Because this is really fantastic! I'm curious, if NOX is a favorite, was the idea to use Teddy BB to compliment something that you've done regularly and decided to shared with the rest of us? I was told this too - that it smelled of grapes. I kind of get it, but to me it truly smells of sweet delicious black raspberries I was happily snoffled just the same, so I was happy it was received with so much enthusiasm. He likened it to grape juice or the sweet soda. It surprized me, not because I already knew what the notes were, but because I hadn't made the comparrison. I could see how he got grape, but I read sweet beriies I'm in love either way My bottles aren't going to last long the way I've been slathering this 2015 version...

I have the BCP and LOVE it! Aliya is staying pokey with me, sadly. I will keep my sample and try to sweeten it with one of my "sugared"s or Pouncing Potion or UNE (I don't have Pherogirl...thought I did...)

A 2007? Wowza, it must've sold out fast to have a rebrew just a couple years later! This new version is so deliciously berry sweet and I like it A LOT. Even though it goes faint and becomes a hint of sweetness, the berries stay the life of the wear. I wonder if I'm influenced at all by tthe Teddy BB - that I believe the smell is dreamy and delicious and comforting because TBB is making me FEEL comforted and content and happy in my LP goodness...?

I'm really liking what I believe my nose is reading as the woods in this. Not that they are the prominent note by any means, only that it is balancing out the others for me - or at least as I perceive it. Needless to say, after allowing my oil soaked bottle to air out in my walk in closet over night, my closet had the decidedly SLF aroma By that evening it was changing and smelling sweeter and honey like. I could pick out the woods in it a bit more. Now my closet just smells divine That's all chemistry free! What a lovely, changing fragrance. I may need a back up bottle...Just when I thought I was getting this habb...er - hobby under control BOOM! Pheromas and the December NRs just wiped the floor with me...

The 2009 definitely fits this description. I like them both in their respective forms - the sweetness of the current NOX suits my foodie lovin' side and the deliciousness of 2009 feeds my new love of all things resin! Probably; resin notes deepen as they age, and the berry notes will probably decay faster after a few years. It's not as noticeable as with citrus, though. And it takes a while - I'm talking several years. I sniff my 2009 version now, in all its divinity, and can not fathom it ever having smelled the way it did at first! True - they seem so different now, but I never got to sniff NOX "new". I only began my LP journey in 2012 - a few good years of aging after it's inception. Was there a previous NOX before that one, or have there only been these 2 so far?

I had to try the OCCOs with their respective LPs LP Pink/OCCO Pink, LP Red/OCCO Red & then the LP Black/OCCO Black when I finally took the plunge for the OCCO Black. I had gone back to LP Black after initially not finding it a favorite - and then when I rediscovered it and it's amazingness, I reinvestigated OCCO Black as a possibly. I ordered a sample of the OCCO and the rest is history And, yes, I too use it to add that delicious resin, chewy depth. I think it has something to do with me coming around to wanting more resin scents in my collection. It took me a year or so to come around to the resin side of things - but now? There's no turning back! I remember reading that somewhere in the history of Dom Noire. DM is sweeter and more honey on me than the LP Black has been, but the resin goodness - YUM!

Rain_dancer - it took me a little while to warm up to LPB too, but now it's a favorite and a staple. I practically slather this lovely fragrance like a lotion!

(Although my wallet may not agree now...lol) I don't recall the last time I got FBs unsniffed, but seriously - everything looks delicious!!! I couldn't resist...

I got my order today and Saisha leaked. The entire label is lubed and a little bit of the neighboring Nox w/Teddy too, lol. WELL. While it doesn't smell like SLF when I'm wearing it, it sure as hell did when I freed it from the wrapper! HollyMoly!!! Amazingly the bottle is still full to the top for how wet everything was. I can't get over the smell though If it wore ON me like that I would be scurd! Right now I have Saisha and Nox airing out together. I wonder how my place will smell in the morning!lol! Hoping it will change as Saisha acclimates after her travels!

I pulled Nox from my stash to compare and the Teddy BB is so very sweet and the berries stay, even faintly, through the long lovely dry down. But my aged Nox is very much more resin-y and the berries flit away more quickly. I really like this sweet version A LOT, but I love my stash too. I'm curious if this will change in the same manor overtime?

Agreed! I want a full bottle set too! How do we go about ordering that? Since it's not the normal set of 10 - should I just order them all like normal? I can totally add more on to make it a set of ten...More Merry and a couple of bottles of Dylan...? Thoughts? Possibilities?
