  1. It's been two days since my January order package left the US. It can be here any day now! Soo excited to get new goodies to try!
  2. Welcome Rhiannon! That's a great list of scents! Glad you joined the forum
  3. I'd like to thank Mara once again for this beautiful PE. It is absolutely perfect, especially now after it has matured a bit. Good as a day scent for me, but the night is when it truly shines. Thank you Blackcat! I love how you compare it to the texture of vintage silk or weathered leather coat. I do definitely get this dark elegance feel too when wearing this scent. And it makes me feel powerful, which is extremely helpful when working in a heavily male dominated job field. As for the phero combinations, I have bottles of IGDV enhanced with Dom, Cougar and SS4W and I love each one of them. For daytime it's mostly Cougar for me, since that one always makes men at work fall over themselves trying to please me. And for night activities it's SS4W or Dom, depends a little on what I'm after. And ofc there is the unpheroed bottle that I always keep in my handbag for reapplying whenever I feel the urge to smell more of this scent on me.
  4. I keep checking this forum section all the time too.. Need my LP fix in form of January NRs ASAP! I'll prob just go nuts and order everything when they're available after such a long wait
  5. Oh yes the flour note is lovely! It is the reason why Mayberry is my favorite of all LP pastry scents I've tried. And it does not last on me either, but who cares if you can always slather more! Berries are barely there on me. Like just to hint there is a berry filling in this yummy edible thing you smell.
  6. Can't wait to see what NRs Mara came up with! My next PE can wait till March or April though, I hope the page will be opened by then. I have plans for that PE too, but not very urgent ones
  7. This may sound silly as it has only four notes, but La Sylphide feels like much more complex grown up sister of SH. Can't tell how much I love this one!
  8. I have tried all kinds of blends in the similar situation, with no noticeable success so far. Since I don't get along with women too well, I have many male friends, and couple of them want to be more than just friends with me. I've known them for ages and they stopped hiding their intentions towards me long ago, so that might be another factor why I don't see much changes no matter what I wear. Just don't wear anything too sexy around that person, as that will more likely trigger him to act on his feelings. And casually let him know what you want out of your friendship. That shouldn't be even too awkward. And no matter how he chooses to react to that, it's not like you're doing something wrong by liking the guy as a friend only.

    Hello Out There

Welcome! That's a great list of LPs to try!
  10. I just got this in a trade and the package came here last week. And as expected I do love the scent a lot. It has obviously aged since the last review here, and at least on me the creaminess reported here is almost undetectable. It smells totally yummy and drinkable though, like a delicious sweetened dark roast coffee with cinnamon. Wonderful and happy scent for a coffee lover that I am.
  11. Welcome to the forum! This is a great place to be Looking forward to reading your reviews as well!
  12. I think La Sylphide is my favorite out of November NRs even though I'm not a huge fan of LFM phero blend. Glad I could snag two bottles before it got sold out. I wasn't big fan of Sensual Harmony when I tried it, as ylang ylang in it was too sweet and loud on me, and I barely got any sandalwood. In La Sylphide those two are in perfect balance for my taste, forming very sophisticated and feminine scent. I can't detect nutmeg as a separate note, but I'm pretty sure it adds that extra depth that I was missing in SH. Also Mara's reference to the ballet in this one's name and label is absolutely perfect and spot on.
  13. There is something wrong with the cart at the moment, it is not loading. I'm trying to buy GCs too.
  14. This started out very bright and disturbingly clean, too sharp to wear on its own. I slathered AJA on another app spot thinking that since there is honey in this one, more honey would not hurt. The result was much better, AJA is a nice flowery honey on me and it tempered X appeal down to much more wearable state. I did not add AJA anywhere close to my left wrist so that I could check how X appeal wears during the day. And now sniffing that wrist I think I actually like it a lot. The scent has warmed up and that soap aspect is not so sharp anymore, more like nice and cozy clean skin smell. Almost unisex so, I'd definitely love something like this on a guy. And it keeps getting better. I only wish I did not have to wait for few hours for this to smell good on me.
  15. I found myself in the same situation during the August sale. I was not able to resist buying all those wonderful LPs with the money I had saved for computer upgrades. Priorities do change, and in this case it does not seem like a bad thing to me
  16. This is light and sweet floral honey on me. It did change just a little dirtier after few hours, but it's still very nice.
  17. I was scared of Tickle Tickle because several reviews said about sharp/medicinal lavender, and many scents can go all wonky and medicinal on me. Wasn't the case with this one though. Right from the start lavender was very soft and beautiful, and blended nicely with berries and cream. Now few hours later lavender has gotten weaker and made room for more vanilla and amber. Now it is berry bakery scent with just a hint of lavender. Unfortunately I have never tried Body Paint, so can't compare the two, but I do like this one.
  18. Apparently anise smells like liquorice candy to me. So this one is liquorice candy, cocoa and coffee with something incensey on the background. Can see why it's popular, there is something really enticing about this scent. I'll be fine with only a sample though, not my type of scent to wear often.
  19. Thank you for absolutely gorgeous bags and for all those lovely gifts! I'm so happy I received my November samples this quickly. That means I'll have plenty of time to test everything and figure out what I want to order before Nov 25th.
  20. Welcome to this great forum! We all share the same LP addiction here, so you should not feel guilty about it And I'd love to read what you think of the scents you ordered.
  21. DD and BlackCat, I hope you like it I tested both master and lemon to compare them, and the difference is pretty much what I remembered. Lemon version dries down a bit sweeter and with herbal undertone. In master tea is black and pure, deep with a bit of bitterness.
  22. Thanks Molls! Now I know I want samples of LAM in pink amber, Mysteries of the Orient and Sugar Plum Fae. All those look wonderful! I have tried BFF and Sweet Chic, those are nice but a bit too sweet indeed.
  23. I got a sniffie of this one in a trade and I absolutely love it. It is indeed very light and pink, girly and fairy-like. And what's even greater, it isn't overly sugary/sweet. Is there anything similar to it currently available in the store? I already have a sample of OCCO pink coming with my November order, and I wonder if I should also try LAM/BAM in pink amber. LP Pink is too thick and suffocating on me, but again I don't do well with patchouli so no surprise there.
  24. My skin eats half of the smoke in most LP scents with that note, so I can't say for sure. I think master version is very similar to lemon one smoke-wise. Its tea note is different though. If I remember it correctly, tea note in lemon version dried down sweeter than the one in master and with a slight herbal undertone. Tea in master is deeper and less reminiscent of an actual tea drink, if it makes any sense. And it definitely does have that mysterious feel that Invi described. I can compare them again when I get home, my scent memory is not the best out there.
