LFM is what I go for when I need that, "It's cool, I got this, I am ready for anything," kind of vibe. I agree with StacyK' s description of these. Mel, I so wish Gotcha made me want to tidy up! Things need to get done around here!

Thanks so much Honeycake. I always bring my partner in with me to talk with these docs just to be sure I am not forgetting to mention anything. They seem to have no problems being assholes even with an audience! I will definitely try another doc, but going through the channels might take some time.

Thanks for the heads up Birkeys! I am going to have to pass on this unfortunately though. We have had a couple of major and unforeseen expenses pop up to terrorize us and need to rein in spending too much. But yes, for this, and other countless reasons, Mara is The Queen of Awesome!

Hi everyone. So sorry for leaving you hanging. Just getting back on here today. So.. the visit was.. disappointing. This doctor had me take a hearing test and the results came back showing that the hearing in my better ear is worse than I had thought. Not so much in the perception of loudness, but in clarity. The other ear came in bad in terms of both loudness and clarity, but I already knew it would. When I was 17, I was a passenger in a car and in a head on collision. Hit by a drunk driver with multiple offenses. So, lucky to have survived that. This doctor looked at the disc of the CT scan of my sinuses that I brought along and said they looked "pristine." ( so why did the last doc, who I swear was a lunatic, state emphatically that I had a sinus infection and prescribe antibiotics- another long, crazy story there) Anyway, I asked this NEW doc if this CT scan would show any potential problems with my ear? He simply said "no." He said that it is probably just age related. I told him I realize that I am not getting any younger and that I know some hearing loss is inevitable, but it was the rate and intensity of the deterioration that concerned me. He said he feels that I should treat my allergies and this might help. The whole time, I felt as if I were in a daze and not really grasping the reality of any of this. It was not until hours later that the real level of my upset began to sink in. I told my partner that this doc's opinions seemed to be largely speculative and without any real diagnostic tests, such as a CT scan or other such imaging, that could rule out other potential problems, how could I know for certain that I had to resign myself to this??? I am honestly still trying to process all of this. Perhaps what I need to do is once I am calm enough, call his office and let him know how I feel and tell him I would like some sort of testing done to rule out anything else that might be going on. I realize HE is the doctor, but it is MY hearing, and I know for a fact that my hearing loss has NOT all been such a gradual thing and he is being dismissive of that! So.. given how this appointment went, all things considered, if I had the whole visit to do over again, I would likely have gone with Dominance Potion. I have had so many negative experiences with doctors and my anxiety gets the better of me and I can not even seem to process how I am feeling about what is happening or being said until MUCH later. I believe I need the heavier edge of the Dom when it comes to these dealings. So, that is what happened. In order to treat the dust mite allergies, I will need to zombify myself with antihistimines, but I'll give it a try. Beyond that, I am going to have to try to get this doctor or yet another one to at least humor me and consider something more definitive than their conjecture. I really do appreciate all of your thoughts, prayers, good energy, and support. Thanks so much to all of you!

Blackcat, I did the same thing as you. I had so many wonderful things to try, that this one got pushed to the side. Poor bottle! Listening to you and tyvey, I am thinking I might need to pair this with some B2 for a nice cozy, night time potion! Thanks for reminding me!

That is impressive Lovestruck! I already get pretty good results with LFM in terms of it getting me more organized and motivated, but if we can kick that up a neighbor two with LFN, I am all for it!

I have not yet tried the LP O soap but did notice it and do want to get a bar eventually. I might as well. I love the body cream and potion.

WOW!!! I can not believe that the last post on this was back in 2010. I ordered a bar of this soap in my last haul. I had been curious about it for a long time. Yes. i wanted it to help with perfume scent removal, but to be truthful, I was more motivated by the fact that the description said that it could remove food odors. I am very strange about certain smells. Some of which, I don't mind eating but for some reason, I get all OCD if the smell lingers on me. Raw Onion and Garlic are the two biggest sticking to me problems. I HATE that with an obsessive passion. So having established my strong aversion to certain smells, I just have to say this soap is INCREDIBLE! It removes all kinds of odors effectively. Why have I not tried this sooner??? This warrants a forehead slap on my part! And really, even if you don't have my weird quirks about food odors, we all know that when out LP orders come in, most of us end up with a gazillion different scents applied on our wrists, hands, arms, etc. and if perfumes were animals, then we would be smelling like a menagerie of scents! And in all honesty, sometimes we just sample one that we will have a personality conflict with and it can be hate at first sniff! It is rare, but it happens. You want it to go away, and go away NOW! This stuff makes that happen. Not even kidding. It looks very pretty with some lovely Celtic design scrolls on it. When you use it, brown color WILL tint the lather, but don't worry, it does not stain! For some reason, I don't know why, I am a bit reluctant to brink this soap into the shower with me, but I know that the naturally occurring caffeine in it is probably awesome for your skin and MIGHT even give you a little boost at the same time. I am working my way up to that. People never seem to talk about this one, but having tried it, I now never want to be without it! Give it a try everyone. Mara, *please* keep this awesome soap available???

Aww I'm so sorry halo. Am bummed to hear that. Carnation is one of the few florals I actually CAN wear. Probably due to its inherent spiciness. I hate when skin does terrible things to great scents. I still *might* try this one anyway.

This sounds so good that even though my partner doesn't like wearing fragrances, I might get a trial for myself! Is the mahogany in this very predominant? Woodsy notes can go all wrong on my skin, but I love the other notes in this one's description!

I feel your love for them Birkeys and if Mara could and would ever do a rebrew of Jouir De, I would happily commit to buying 10, but I believe I had read that the ingredients are no longer available. Perhaps I should consider requesting a PE that is as close to it as one could get. We all love LPs and have that one special ONE that is so beautiful, it breaks your heart and leaves it overjoyed at the same time. This is my one. <3

OK, thank you to androstenol, Dolly, tyvey, halo, Rosebud, Honeycake, StacyK, and LadyV. I have considered all of your input as well as the things that are pros and cons for me. What I am thinking will be my best bet is the LFM. If I were going to be dealing with a woman doctor, I would NOT go with this one since it seems to make women act weird when I wear it. Other than that, I love the selfies when I wear it. It gives me a nice sense of Yin and Yang balance, I feel calm and confident with it ( sort of like whatever comes up while wearing it, I have a "no worries, I've got this!" attitude) also, I love the effects it has on the males around me. They seem to be attracted, but not in an overtly sexual way. More like fascinated and likely receptive to what I have to say. I had considered this one before posting my question to all of you, but was not certain that it would be appropriate in a non social situation. StacyK, I agree about the reviews. Taking it all with a grain of salt. Honeycake, I agree also with the competent/feminine aspect to this. I get the same effects with LFM. LadyV, Use it all the time with my docs all alpha male hard asses and I get whatever I want < LOL! That's all I am asking for! And thanks for your prayers sweetie! Will update here after visit!
