Rose Blackthorn

It *is* a lovely scent FL, and I just recently got the UNscented Treasured Hearts. For me, it's a very happy, loving, mellow, agreeable, laid back kind of feel to it. Check out the forum reviews on it. It has a wide range of applications. You really can't go wrong with it and I wish I had tried it much sooner!

Welcome Frida's Lotus! if it were me, I would go with something like Topper, anything with DHEAS, perhaps Cougar, or even Treasured Hearts or Open Windows. Could you be more specific about what you are hoping to attract? That would narrow it down a lot. Maybe Crescendo w/ Topper? Terra mater w/ Treasured Hearts? Cougar *scented* Potion? Would these notes work for you?

Hi DD, I did try a little the other night. I am on antibiotics for a sinus infection so am not sure how accurately I can judge any scents right now. The other night, my nose was perceiving something very berry. It reminded me a bit of Nox with some yummy chocolate mixed in. I tend to amp berries it seems. The musk and amber never really bloomed on me. I am not really sure if this one will work out on me. If you really love this one, maybe you would like to buy mine or we can arrange a swap? It really is very dark and sweet and beautiful, but I have the weirdest PH.

Hi LV, I'm sorry this wasn't and LV scent. I had my doubts about whether or not this one was going to work for you, but Lovestruck had expressed an interest in this one so maybe she would like to buy it from you? And I agree, the label is just beautiful!

Don't be too hard on yourself Lovestruck. Describing a fragrance or your perception of one is not always that easy for many of us. But making it even more difficult is that just as an example, Lotus might smell warm, sweet, and creamy on one person, but someone standing right next to them could try it on and have it turn sharp and biting. I just think that no matter how well you might articulate things, fragrances are going to be challenging to describe. That is my own experience at least. I think if I had experienced what you have, and clearly want to avoid it again, look at the notes of the fragrance and eliminate what you know is NOT causing it. Then you can proceed to approach the other ingredients with caution and eventually, hopefully, discover the offending culprit.

Welcome Memorare! We are all scent hoes here, so you are in good company. Nope the customization trick won't work here, but trust me, you really won't mind and since these fragrances are layerable, that is just yet another level to the addiction.

Thanks Cherise! It has been very hot. Typical of New England this time of year. That, I expect. Have no clue what kind of insanity has come over our local post office though. So weird.

I am guessing this would be a bad idea Beach Goddess. As for me, I would not, would be so bad uf they went nasty but others may feel differently. Opinions anyone?
