  1. Me too! I had already left it a couple of days, so it surprised me that it took longer to fully meld it's goodness to the alcohol. I prefer sprays that have some oil in the though (always order 60:40 UN sprays), cause they definitely last longer.
  2. I'm so in love with this I'm wearing it again today. Just scored myself a 2nd bottle too. The ballerina picture on the front of the bottle really suits the fragrance now it's aged. At first it seemed a bit incongruent to me, but now I feel like that delicate ballerina when I wear it.
  3. I have a full spray bottle of this, and yet for some reason have not yet used it. SS4W is my most precious and beloved phero, but I keep reading how lots of people seem to have a hard time finding their sweet spot with this one. I guess I'm afraid of disappointment.
  4. I hope you love it Donsie. This is one of my most beloved scents. Give it a couple of goes and it will probably charm you with its fairy wiles.
  5. I think it needed some more time to settle in to being a spray, because now it's loveliness is lasting nicely for hours. YAY!

    SPANISH GOLD

This one is fresh and light and sweetly sparkly. It's like being sprinkled in gold glitter dust and then sitting in the sun so your skin goes all shimmery. It goes really well with A Treasure of Gold, for double goldiness. ATOG adds rich depth to Spanish Gold's sunlit sparkle.
  7. Ha! I think I needs this whether it will stop me from smothering or not. Duckie makes it sound fun! NuTrix, I still haven't tried Balm Bomb either- keep meaning to. Teddy BB might at least make me feel less potentially homicidal.
  8. Is this likely to make me stop wanting to smother my mother with a pillow? I currently live with her, and find myself in a constant state of irritation and repulsion in her presence. ETA: I do not want to wear something that may make her want to spend more time around me.
  9. I put it on in the afternoon and could still smell it a few hours later. I had used 7 sprays on different parts of clothes and hair. One of the reasons I decided to convert to spray was because I had a full bottle that had only been tested (as originally the scent seemed too warm for summer), but when I opened and tested it a couple of days ago it had become so soft and delicate and perfumey. I was worried that in oil form the scent wouldn't waft at all, and might just be eaten by my skin because it was so quiet. It seems to really suit spray form. I usually fog myself too (I had to convince myself to stop at 7 sprays in order not to OD on LFM). But this scent is so lovely and delicate that it wasn't at all overpowering. In fact, I would say it was quite subtle. ETA: After one use it went on my current top five scent list, so make of that what you will!
  10. Yeah, we have frangipani trees full of flowers everywhere round here. The scent is utterly beautiful, as Donsie says, and it blooms more at night. It's lightly tropical, strong, yet soft, and very deliciously sweet without being cloying. Although you can get lots of different varieties that smell like other kinds of flowers and things (rose, jasmine, coconut, chocolate, citrus), but the "traditional" frangipani smell is like no other.
  11. I'm wearing this today after converting my bottle to a spray 2 days ago. I'm loving it soooo much! I liked it to start with, but the scent has become a wondrous thing with a little ageing. It's somehow more soft and delicate and haunting.
  12. Fairy Musk Sneaky Clean Seer Sensual Harmony La Sylphide
  13. 1. SS4W- My absolute favourite. It makes me feel like I embody my ideal self. 2. TH- So great for work and social. 3. DHEAS- It makes everything shiny and sparkly, including me. 4. Lace- Girly goodness. I don't care that it gives me headaches. 5. True Confessions- I have just discovered the magic of beta-nol. I will add Sexology & Cuddle Bunny because I love them, but I don't wear cops all the time.
  14. Skye, I don't think any new blends have come out to replace Audacious in the last few months. I'm glad I was lucky enough to score one bottle of Soaked with Audacious just before it disappeared. Maybe it wasn't as popular anymore? Or maybe new things are being worked on in secret...
  15. Thanks NuTrix. It was great for an hour or so, then seemed to totally disappear, then after a while I could smell it again, more softly, on my clothes. Next time I will soak in it, because it is lovely .
  16. I just received this one, converted it from oil to spray and wore it for the first time out shopping yesterday. I wasn't feeling very upbeat that day, but as I was served at each store I went into everyone seemed very happy to see me. The girl behind the counter at the first store, where they usually are not too friendly, was actually smiling at me and talking to me like I was some wonderful creature with glitter and wings. She went all sparkly-eyed and over-enthusiastic. Similar reactions were seen at each place I visited. It definitely makes people feel warmly disposed towards you. The only thing was that the scent died down quite quickly, despite being a rather strong, warm scent. Has anyone whose converted oils to sprays themselves found this to be the case in general? Does it make the perfume lighter than usual? I hav heaps of perfume sprays I've ordered as sprays, and most of them are very long-lasting scents. ETA: Forgot to add that this is a lovely sweet, autumn-pie warm scent. Very comforting.
  17. Donsie, I found a post somewhere a couple of days ago revealing Lumina's ingredients, but after searching just now I can't seem to find it again. I had been trolling through all the "Lumina" search records for ages the first time before I came across it. Anyway, I believe the ingredients were EST, DHEAS, Beta-nol, A-nol & a smidge of cops. The only thing I'm not entirely sure about is if I've listed those ingredients in exactly the right order. I know that Mara said somewhere that Lumina has about 25% EST. And I know that there was more Beta-nol than A-nol. And that the DHEAS came further towards the top of the list than usual, so I think I've got them right. Sorry I can't find the link for you.
  18. Step away from the Hummingbird Nectar... You do not want it. This one sounds so perfectly lovely and exciting to me. And god I love hummingbirds. They're like feathered fairy bees
  19. Donsie, I feel the same way about honeysuckle for very similar reasons, except my first attempts at magic were aimed at faeries.

    Nola

I'm really looking forward to this one too.
  21. ^^^ You're right. It's a conspiracy.
  22. On no! Not cat pee! And I was thinking how sweet this one sounded. Fingers crossed no one's kitty has peed in my bottle when it arrives.
